That's the main issue with MMORPG. It's a genre where players are meant to gradually develop characters or avatars over several months or even years and become a longstanding part of the virtual world (much like "The SIMs" only with animated violence :P).
Instead, they turn into glorified, graphic chat clients populated mostly by two main groups: the diehard "fan"-atics who often let their virtual lives overrule their real lives, and those who play for a week and then demand their subscription fee back because they haven't gotten instant gratification in the form of a level 99 character loaded down with the "best stuff" by that time.
Part of the reason why the rush-to-Hell-Cows-in-D2 syndrome became so pandemic. |

I played Galaxies too, Lucky. I hated it, probably because I don't really enjoy running around shooting a rabbit with a laser pistol for 20 minutes before it dies. As I recall from the movies, it only took one shot to kill a stormtrooper. I guess the Evercrack boys thought it would be cool to make it harder to kill a rabbit than a stormtrooper...aka take all the fun out of Star Wars. I don't recall Luke or Han ever hunting down a rabbit. They should put some actual Star Wars-like missions in there and not try to recreate Evercrack.

this was a fair battle-report yet is was marred by various discrepencies which i was able to discern with my keen eye.
