Btw, why the hell did you lose farsight :( I swear that girl is the single most deadly girl in the game. Give her a high-powered ownage sniper rifle and she'll own everyone that's not made of metal (Sadly some are).

| I didn't MEAN to kill farsight... I'm still contemplating restarting and keeping her. I know I will, because I do like sniping and if you say shes so good at it. That and I hate sucking so much regarding weapons I didn't realize Stitch has such good First Aid to start off with. I would also like lockpicking skills, so without having to report it the entire time I won't take long. I'll just brief the changes next br. |

I've always loved Tactical Combat games like Fallout, but I sucked at knowing what to do next. But I like Fallout: Tactics, because there is much more combat in it.

First aid and barter are fairly useless in fallout tactics, mainly because you can substitute first aid with healing chems and there arent that many places to barter except for the brotherhood bunkers you can just rely on droping a couple of points each level on farsight's barter skill until and save yourself a significant boost for another skill.
And you'll probably miss farsight later on, she's got a mean aim and you get her early enough to start droping some points on energy weapons to be useful for the last missions too.
You're the first person i know that plays on turn based combat instead of real time. Btw in fallout 1 you were a vault dweller not a tribal ^_^.

yea I never did play Fallout 1, thank my little bro for the bad info. Fallout 2 I enjoyed for maybe an hour, but I kept getting stuck and gave up on it.
As for turn-based mode... I would get zero screenshots in real-time, i can't just 'print screen' like warcraft i have to have a program running that takes one at a time. plus you get much better control over a situation in turn-based, at least in my eyes.
i restarted, btw. picked snake and changed him to what i wanted (took off the gifted ability and put his focus in small weap, large weap, and energy weap) so hes a tank now. farsight is alive and well, and she definately be present in part 2 of the storyline. i'm busy lately so it is still at least another week away, so those who actually care just be patient. |

I thought characters gain standard exp no matter how many group members you have? It's been a long time since i played the game.
