| Okay.... now that I've read it through... Pictures of battles are all right, but give some idea of the places of the ramps, give maybe a couple of pictures of the base (the whole one) when being attacked, and some overall pictures. Just a couple of units here and there doesn't tell much other than the fact that zerglings died. |

The photoshop effects, while pretty, are over-the-top. You have skills. Now put them to work.
The writing needs to be spruced up in general, more humor, and just better writing style. Still, it's improving. Find a better game next time. The flash music was terrible, but the flash itself was good.

Good presentation, though the lightning in those pictures was it at times distracting. Rather nice writing as well. The game was subpar, however ( a fairly short zvz ). If you're going to spend hours making a report, make sure you have a good game first ;).
All in all, a good effort - I didn't think the flash was bad, either. So here's an 8. |

You might want to ease up a bit on those lightning effects :O
Trust me on this one, I've been there myself, less really IS more.
The actual game was probably the biggest letdown of the report. In my opinion, when you're doing a report on... "lesser" skilled players, the winning point has to be some sort of relationship with the players. Otherwise, people with actual skill is always preffered :D

I felt that it was a little odd how you quickly told the readers about the suddenly amassed armies...I didn't even know the Zerg players had Spires, or even Lairs until I saw the update. Then I read about a huge army of 75 Mutas out of nowhere and then they win...it's kind of anti-climatic.
Next time, at least mention where the players are in terms of tech, research/upgrades (I had no idea that Bunker even had a Den, or much more had upgraded to lurkers...), etc.

Here's my two bits:
I agree with Eldritch and Zerg~Ling on the pictures. Too much riffraff can be visually distracting; goldrush was right on with the picture content, too. Starcraft can be tactical as well as strategic; and I like to see pictures that demonstrate the ebb and flow of an engagement.
Writing style: Not bad, though watch your grammar. You shifted verb tense twice, although shifting to historic present can be excellent if done right. Also, use "hastily" instead of "hastely".
All things considered, however, I liked it. Solid gold. |

| Only real flaw i saw was the game was too one sided, one player never penetrated the others main or took out any of his expos, and once the mutas came out it was a flat rape. Try to report on a game, that's evenly fought all the way to the end. Do this, and your score should go up at least a point. |

Can't win can you Chris? Your critical and your frowned upon, you say that someone is finally getting up there and people berate you.
I knew what was good and what was bad before I wrote a report and now that I've written a couple I can appreciate the time that people put into their work. So now I take a bit more care not to throw my opinions around like a mace but I would still rate the reports the same as before.
This topic has been brought up in the past and as was said back then this site is not only for reporters. The whole idea of this site is to make entertaining reports for others to read and not all the readers are writers themselves. Everyone who reads a report is entitled to his or her opinion and they are entitled to express that opinion in the comments section.
So quit with the "Haven't seen a report from you (insert name here)!" because the button at the bottom says "Add Comment" not "Add Comment if you've released a BR". |

As far as checking grammer make it legiable thats all you need doesnt need to be 100% rite, common its a battlereport not a **fudgeing** English paper. i quit the online gaming scene on starcraft due to nothing offered for 56k and such it got so bad i couldnt get in but 1-15 games i entered. IM SOOOO SORRY IM NOT SOME RICH LITTLE BRAT THAT CANT AFFORD 59.99 A MONTH FOR BROADBAND. You got some mad photoshop skillz. maybe if you could have made some the pictures involve the whole action at once? and you might want to tinker with the resolution on your pics cuz it just about fried my 56k modem ;) i was able to see opening pic flash and first zergling slaughter pic and a bunch of red x's. have you messed with being able to save the pictures you create as webpictures, should have the option in file pull down menu. you can change the resolution that way turn it down some where you can still see the picture and it dont fry our modems. as this will make the file size of pic smaller and ezier to see. had a hard time getting flash to work... o well just my 2cents. but a great report nun-the-less if i knew how id give you a 8.75. an ez 8.5 but not quiet 9 |

In Beta+ nuclear decay, a proton in the atom's nucleus becomes a neutron. In order to conserve charge, it must then emit a positron (basically like an electron in every way except that it is positive in charge). However, the simple emission of one positron does not conserve spin and momentum in the system. In fact, these protons also emit _neutrinos_, which are currently thought to be essentially just pieces of energy floating about, to conserve momentums. Seriously though, some more suggestions: big pictures are preferred to small ones, even if this lowers the blood to square inch ratio. Trust me, people loved YRM's early collages even with no battles happening. And never cover action with photoshop stuff. That looks cool as borders. |
