Alright, time for some constructive critisism.
Pictures were, as usual, great. Nothing I can add here. Formatting was good. The game, however, was pretty one-sided. I knew you were going to win after the first storm-beatdown, and I could sense that Loser didn't feel that paying for Broodling and queens was worth him saving his army. ;) Just kidding, Loser.
As for writing, it was pretty good. However, I can add some things here; pay attention to tenses. A lot of attention. Here's on passage that hurt the flow a lot: "The combination of an overlord an a sunken became the death of my DT, and Lozer spawned more hydra/ling from the two adjacent hatcheries. Taking casualties, I ran my forces north in desperation, and managed to save 5 zeals and the archon."

Unless I am mistaken, it starts off in past tense, "Sunken became the death of my DT" Then it seems to go into present tense, with "Taking casualties, I ran my forces north in desperation." One way to fix this is to say, "Since I was" or "I was" to keep the past tense before "taking." Minor errors, but they hurt the flow of the report.
A few typos here and there; not spelling errors, just typos. "Lozer retreated four hydralisks back into his, by now, veritably impenetrable sunken maze formerly know as his natural" is one that stands out.
Other than that, very articulate writing. I approve, and slap a good ol' 8.5-9 on this. |

To be honest I don't notice the tenses at all. It's not something I'm aware of at all when writing, and I guess it's one of the areas I can improve on. Then again, I learned english from reading battlereports so maybe I can blame br.com for making my english what it is :)

Know is very much a present tense. To use it right after formerly, a very much past tense word comes across as a typo. It should be "known."
And don't worry about the tenses too much. The reports are still absolutely rock-solid, and a few English grammar errors from a Danish guy aren't going to hurt them. I just want to give you some feedback. :D |

-I can relate to you fallng back into Starcraft, I'm doing the same thing. Warcraft can't always be fun. Although it's custom games are better that SC's theres no beating SC ladder FFA, even team mellee (paticularly 2v2). Oops, I'm getting carried away now, hehe.

It's good to see so many folks coming back to the old game and showing blizz that it's not all about what's new and flashy! gogo new 2-D RTS games -_-;
Art report - yeah, it was pretty obvious that a 3 base toss would beat a 3 base zerg eventually, but you made a good effort to keep it a little mysterious. Pics wonderfully simple, but the inconsistant alt text threw me off in the middle(Quotes -> captions, huh? yah nitpicking). Woulda liked to know what the kill stats on the HT from that last storm pic were tho : )

| Cool report man. It's hard to find anything to complain about. Everyone spends so much time complaining that reports tend to get funneled into certain kind of shape that everyone wants to agree on. On the one hand youve got a format that seems to work so you should stick with it. Im not really sure what Im saying but if I could propose an anology it might help. I used to love reading this magazine. It was unique and not really widely read. As it got more and more popular it got more and more mainstreamed and they started making it cleaner and nicer and overall better edited. They also stopped writing certain columns that were spicey and a bit offbeat. I don't really read it anymore. It doesn't interest me anymore..its to bland. Anyway I thought it was solid but I liked some of your older zanier reports more, those ones that Dag gave 7's to. |

I can only say that people change, and so do the reports from them. When I go back and read my "zanier" (heh), older reports, it's like seeing a picture from when you were younger; you can barely recognize it, but the things you do recognize make you terribly embarrased :)
As for mainstream... well it's "me"stream. This is a report I would like to read, just like all the others have been the kind I would've liked to read - at that time.
