about 2-3 hours
watching the games 2-3 hours, I take down notes during the game, in a format such as
ForU exp 10
Sync scouts
ForU defends with cannon
Sync moves forward with ~10 tanks and infantry
Then when I write it, I turn 'ForU exp 10' into something fancy with some strategical analysys like 'ForU needs to increase his resource intake in order to stay even with Sync, who just took 6, so he expands to 10 with cannons for defense. Sync scouts that move shortly thereafter....."
and so on
total time from watching, notes, and then fleshing it out, about 5-6 hours.
If I do a so called 'regular' br it takes about 20-30 hours, and I don't really think people enjoy it 3 times as much. I certainly enjoy doing them three times as much. The ratings I get seem to bear me out. So text onlies I do, and will continue to do. |

| Oh yeah, I forgot; would it be possible to include a minimap? I mean, most likely you already have the map on your own comp, so just fire it up and go? It would really help out on the general overview, as most of these maps are relatively new pro maps, and I for one don't know half of them O_o |

I thought the first two were fairly one sided and the last went pretty much one way the whole time but with these pro games one small mistake leads to the opponent owning.
Keep with the text only, although I enjoy your 20 - 30 hour reports too :D |

actually I did a 20 hour one when I first came to br.com, in 2000, that one got a lukewarm reception too, so I posted 3 text onlies that took a total of 4 hours and they got got the same score =p
thats when the idea of doing pictures for a br kinda got soured for me |
