Good stratigic overview, concise battle discriptions. Pictures are a blur of color and confusion, but thats warcraft 3's fault. 9, because there wasn't any SUPER fantastic writing, but I have warm cookies mom made handy so for that part, I was set. :D |

Heh, I really liked what you did with the pics Ender. The black and white one with the orange Water Elementals was really awesome. Even if, according to Necro, it's easy, they still look awesome :)

The "buttonized" effect was less crappy than I thought, luckily you faded it ;o Enjoyed reading it, good in-game thoughts and a few lines got a giggle from me.

Yay...one pic kinda was annoying, that one looked like you'd done some fucked beveling so that there was an angle through the diagonal...that makes no sense. Eh...wasn't that bad, and may have just been the light.

not bad at all. A few things. You'll explain what's going on then I get a full page of pictures, no text, just pictures. If you want to explain a battle I understand, but Why not just put them into a animated gif? You did it in some parts...
You don't want to fill up an entire screen of just screenshot after screenshot, unless it's a giant gif that has tons of screenshots crammed into it.
Like some graphic whores will do, but it was like you had them right after each other to show the progression of battle. It's not really pleasing to the eye and you should just make it animated and put all the gifs together so there is text before and after. It's nice being able to read and never have to pause my reading just to scroll past things.
Know what I'm saying? It was great, but you have the tools to do better. Oh and do 2on2s for war3, they are much better to BR ;)

I recieved an error message while downloading 1.16, so I havn't played warcraft for a while :(. If I find the time to reinstall I'll try and find some good 2v2 games online. Thanks for the great criticism and advice though, I'll try some more animations in any other battlereports I make. |

yeah you can even take replays from the site and do 2on2s or something. But remember because replays are downloaded, what makes your report better then that? What can you show me that I wouldn't get by watching a replay? Why would I use the 10 miinutes to read it when I could watch it?

true haha. FFAs are always a good BR. I really think the whole 1on1 high level BR is sorta outdated. Most players who want to see that rather watch the replay at x2-4.
I think the big reason I'd want to read a replay now is if it included a lot of comedy and trash talking along with a great game. |
