Another WoW tale. It was an interesting read, but since I don't have/play WoW some of what you said didn't mean much to me. So bear with me when I talk about your report. Some of it sounded like you were referring to past quests and stuff that I don't know anything about.
As for the report it was alright but some of the language felt a bit rough in flow (difficult to understand, oddly worded, etc.). Perhaps it was just talking in character, but it still felt rough. There were also quite a few misspellings in your report. A spellchecker wouldn't have picked most of them up because they were real words, but the wrong ones for what you meant.
It looks like 3 of your pictures are overlapping on the right (for my resolution/browser anyway) for the team makeup.
If I rated this I'd give it a 6-7 probably. (I'm not since I don't play it and because we're still waiting on whether a separate WoW tale section will be made and be judged by different standards.) |

It was all right except for the writing. It's possible to integrate both the technical details and fictional narration. However, it can be tough, and if you don't feel that you can do both, I'd say fix the fictional narration to be coherent and toss the technical details in at the end of the BR.
Keep working at it, and I know you'll improve. |

I'm not too sure about this. I was able to stare in awe at items and understand what you were doing, but I know many non-Wow'ers wont.
The story didn't flow that well at all, but you did have the basics for a good story.
- Write tales with a clear focus, two objectives at most
- Spelling. Seriously.
- I like the links to items inside the story
- Read more, then write more. Then repeat :p |

okay, I read it now. I thought the writing was extremely bad. I had no clue what was going on most of the time. Perhaps most jarring, however, was your tendency to randomly throw in odd, somewhat out of place cliches. Furthermore, the formatting was pretty awful - I had to keep scrolling back and forth to make any sense of the tiny text.
Your pictures were pretty good, I guess, though way too wide. I'm pretty torn between a 5 and a 6 . . . I'd say 5.6 myself, so I'll hand out a 6. |

I was pleased to see another WoW tale, but the writing was a bit scattered. It felt like you were trying to write about everything that happened that night. You might have been better off picking a smaller slice to write about, and polishing it more.

| With regard to WOW in general: I propose what I call "the patch theory". This theory is the main reason why I am not going to even buy this game basically. However this will be valuable to those who do play...maybe. In Starcraft you had about 9 patches I think. In Diablo there were about 10 patches. In Warcraft: 17. On a graph this will look like a parabola. Im guessing that on WOW there is going to be about 30-40 patches before Blizzard gets tired of doing it and they have to devote attn to their new game in development because they are mos behind schedule. Blizzard is so fucking stupid at patching they will make other races imblnce anyway so just wait a bit - someday your guy will be the imblnce guy. Have a NICE DAY =) |
