Heh, interesting report - I think I briefly played this after someone linked it to me some months ago. Turn based combat might not be the most exciting thing to read about, but it was okay, and the pictures were nice to have.

Then onwards to install the newest patch, load "da replay" I wanted to report some time ago and do the job before someone does it first :P, I just pray to God that trial photoshop is still working after so much time! |

Glad the report turned out pretty good.
:P I think it'll be at least 2 months before my next report. Next DoW report will likely be by Woah and I think he'll do great.
I took a long time to figure out how to load the background.
DoW campaign has a mission with a loading screen showing a planet on a grid. I took a screenie and cut one of the space grid squares out for the background. |

Haha no way, I actually bought this game when it was new. I really liked it, can't wait to read this report. I recall really liking the game.
Also I used to play the miniature table top Space hulk as well, which was awesome.

| Hey i got QSpacehulk, its a multiplayer port of the board game, and although it hasn't got IPX support yet, you can play by e-mail by mailing the save game to your opponent after every turn. It'd take awhile, but we should play, and then you can BR a real game^_^ |

Hey can you help me get space hulk (the computer game) working? Whenever I run it, the screen goes black with a blinking cursor at top left, and the computer then hangs. I got system commander and I'm running DOS when I try it, and I've tried installing with all the sound options (including no sound). Halp!
And also, can you help me find Vengeance of the Blood Angels (the computer sequel)? |

Nope, dun feel like playing QSpacehulk thanks. I've other games in mind to BR.
I got Space Hulk working with DosBox. You have to config a little, mount your cd rom and hard disk. Check the readme.

I installed Spacehulk CD in DosBox, think it doesn't matter though. Sound Blaster option works fine for me.
VOGONS is a good forum to ask questions on how to get Very Old Games On New Systems working.
Vengeance of the Blood Angels... It really ain't as good as the first anyway. Main thing was that you could smack Genestealers left and right with your power glove, making things a lot easier and killing tension. Its just prettier.
