Anyway, I actually liked what you had. I was considering a six for most of the real game, but I'm gonna go with a five. The writing did a pretty good job of conveying the action, but there were a bunch of spelling and grammar mistakes that really detracted from it.
With some proofreading and some more pics (the one you had was nice), this could have been a really good report. The formatting was nice, I really like how you did the updates, and you did a decent job of describing the action. Not great, mind you, but I felt like I understood more or less what was going on. I really wanted to know more about the individual battles, though. Obviously that last part would have been helped greatly by pics, especially at that point you mentioned.
As I said, I'm gonna give it a five. I enjoyed what was there, but without an ending... Don't be surprised if somebody rates it lower, mainly because of that. I certainly understand not wanting your work to be done in vain, though. Thanks for the post, anyway, it was a good way to spend 10 minutes. :) |

Well, it looked pretty good. Writing wasn't that great, though, random broken image, and it's not finished. On the other hand, it does increase the number of battlereports. Let's see, can we do math?

seriously... I hope this unfinished report thing doesn't become a habit with people.
I really think you have a lot of potential, especially concerning your writing which is intelligent and relatively free of errors. If you keep writing more reports and refine your writing style a little more I can definitely see copious amounts of gold in your future - unfortunately, not the good kind that you can sell. Well, you could try to sell a 9.0 rating. I don't think you would get much, except from Dag who hordes them.
As much as I feel obligated to rate it down because you didn't even bother to finish the report, I enjoyed what I read so far and I'll give it a 6 purely as encouragement to write more in the future. Also, because of this line:
"I wound up at the 11:54:04 spot with enemies at 10:32:23, 3:56:02, 5:03:23,and 5:59:06."
It made me giggle. A few pointers for next time:
- don't use the word "coalesce" more than one time in a report
- try not to cut off the edges of your collages
- good status updates, don't stop doing those
- more pictures
- finish the report next time |

| Ok, guys. Something is seriously wrong with this replay. At about the 20 minute mark all of the units on the map freeze. Oh course, the miners keep mining, but it is as if the players just got up and left. All of my replays have been going wacky like this. Another replay I had has me losing a game I won! In this game I was fighting a free for all with two comps. However, in the replay the comps are oddly allied, and wipe out my entire base. And this never freakin happened! What the hell is wrong with all of my replays? Has anyone else experienced this? |

The replay is from a pervious patch and won't work with the current one. You'll have to load the game in a previous patch to be able to watch the rep. If you don't know what patch it was played in, I suggest you just work backwards and see how long it takes for them to work (ie, watch in 1.14, 1.13, etc).

| Haven't read this yet, but I encourage you not to submit incomplete reports!! That said, great to see you're going to submit some more, this site could use some more promising reporters. I'm 22 and doing my Masters, in response to your question! Alot of us are 22, actually. |
