In "Dux0r Know's All"

        Map: The Lost Temple

"If The Lost Temple is indeed lost, then why do so many people play it so often?"

        Foolish Players:

                Blue Protoss: t_mac 3:00

                Yellow Zergy Poo: (=(=Blank=)=) 9:00

(=Blank=), the silly zerg player, did exactly what you would expect from (=Blank=), the man that underproduces peons, he turbo expanded. He did that little "10/9 hatch" trick, which gave him 9 drones, and he could still expand. Protoss, on the other hand, did a 8 pylon, gateway on11, and on 13 build. His scouting probe found the exspansion before it was complete, and a lone zealot was sent to deal with it. Unfortunately 8 lings...own...1 zealot.  The next 2 zealots from Auir stopped at the ramp.

t_mac sent a probe down the 6:00 start position and started 2 cannons and a gateway by the ramp. (=Blank=) started another hatchery, this one by his ramp, and sent his 10 or so lings to scout. They found the protoss base in the second place they looked, but stopped before going up by 6 zealots and 2 warping cannons. Around the same time that his exspansion nexus started warping in, t_mac's assimilator, at his main FINISHED warping in! Talk about late gas! (=Blank=) also started on his mineral only natural, and had begun production of hdyralisks, and t_mac had a citiadel of Adun and a templar archives warping in.

Up until now, t_mac hadn't built anyunits accept zealots and probes, while (=Blank=) had made several hydralisks, and zerglings. But t_mac had more probes in his main base then (=Blank=) had at ANY of his bases (I think, t_mac had atleast 30 in there) This might prove fatal, because (=Blank=) discovered t_mac's southern exspansion, and immediately dispatched about 20 hydralisks to deal with the problem, about 10 zealots we're right behind them, and they met at the choke point of the 6:00 protoss base for a short battle. The protoss zealots emerged victorious, and perched themselves on the ramp, next to the cannons, awaiting the attack from the zerg. t_mac had finally begun construction of a non-zealot unit, templar Unfortuantely while they sat at the ramp of t_mac's main, 9 zealots charged towards the zerg base, while about 20 hydralisks charged towards the 6:00 exspansion. They met somewhere inbewteen, the zealots battled as hard as they could, but the spread out hydralisks easily destroyed them, but not until all but 5 of the hydralisks we're dead.

The hdyralisks charged the now undefended 6:00 exspansion, about 10 more zealots came down there, and took out the hydralisks. Unfortunately, yet another wave of 20 or so hydralisks we're coming. This time the zealots could not hold off the hydralisks, because of a certain range disadvantage, ( 5 zealots can't be all attacking the same hdyralisk, but 20 hydralisks kill a zealot in 2 volleys.

Things looked very grim for t_mac now, he was down to his almost mined out main, 2 cannons, 3 templar, and a couple zealots for defense. (=Blank=), on the other hand, who was starting an exspansion at the 6:00 natural, was working on his 3rd exspansion, and his 5th hatchery (at the 3rd exspansion...) (=Blank=) could have won it here, had he saturated his mineral lines during the early game when nothing was happening. He attacked t_mac's main with about 6 hydralisks, but a storm killed 2 of them, cannons killed one, and a few zealots killed the rest. Little did he know that 20 more hydralisks we're on they're way. When they did arrive, t_mac was well prepared. His now 6 templar stormed about 15 of the hydras into death, and 9 zealots ravaged the rest. t_mac also FINALLY warped a nexus in at his natural exspansion, and sent 9 zealots, 3 templar, and 1 archon to the zerg's 2nd natural exspansion. He stormed, rinsed and finished the hydralisks off with zealots. Fortunately more hydralisks we're on they're way, and we're able to destroy the invaders. But not before losing all of the drones there. (6, stupid (=Blank=)....)

Back at home, t_mac had his exspansion running finally, and had done something that probabally turned the entire game around. He made 8 Dark Templar. He sent them towards the middle, where he found a large group (nearly 40) of hydralisks, which had no overlord support. He quickly destroyed ALL of them, with casualties of only 6 of them, while the zerg lost atleast 50 hydralisks. He sent the cloaked warriors to the 2 natural exspansions of the zerg player, where he destroyed all of the drones. Niether darktemplar had more than 20 kills. Just shows you how little drones (=Blank=) makes, which I'll explain at the end (I don't get it)

Several zealots, 4 templar, and 1 archon moved out towards the zerg base, this time intent on completely destroying the bases. They met up with MORE hydralisks in the center, but had no trouble killing them, with the loss of 1 zealot.

They met up with the second natural, and even more hydralisks. Several storms, and 2 more archons later, (=Blank=) was down to his main, and a very un-saturated exspansion at 6:00's natural.

More hydralisks poured out of the 2 hatcheries at (=Blank=)'s main, but 3 archons and a few zealots killed them. Another group of hydralisks FINALLY finished them off, but the damage was done. (=Blank=) was very short on resources, and t_mac had his natural fully saturated, and was already on the way with more templar and zealots. (=Blank=) concedded a gg, and promtply left the game, after explainging to me that "if you have too many drones, that means you don't have enough units to defend them" I don't think that was an excuse, because he didn't have nearly as many hydralisks as he could have had, and he didn't even make the queens we knew he should have to counter the few templar. Hell, (=Blank=) never even got the speed upgrade for his overlords! It was still a well played match, and I was very suprised with the outcome. t_mac
