Okay so I will use one of the most noted quotes from here “this is my first battlereport on this site so bear with me”. The BR has got screen shots which I took, but I have no idea how to put them on the web on the computer I am using.
BackGround:
I was looking for a game and was offered a 2v2 against Jolly and CoP~Hero, pitty I had no regular allie with me but I took up the offer and asked around for an allie, a guy called Grinder said he would so the game was born. Hero said join me and off he went.
Game:
2v2
Map Hunters
Tarr~LiZarD & Grinder (both random)
Vs
Jolly & CoP~Hero (Chosen terran and protoss respectively).
Start:
I start at 6.00 with a hatch and some creep, Grinder is at 12.00 with a CC,
I decide on the double hatch as there is no zerg opponent to attack me very quickly plus the map layout means it was viable.
I send an OL to 7.30, Grinder goes depot 8 rax 10.
Grinder finds Hero at 10.30, and tells me he wants hero dead =] anyway I send my next OL to 4.30 and discover Jolly, who cunningly kills my OL before the slow slug will move back across the water.
This sets me back, I am also pondering what to do as I am unsure about combating the potential zlot marine combo with pure lings, but I need troop numbers quickly and I am down on supply.
I decide to go for lings and hope with my allies marines we can hurt hero.
Too Late, Hero attacks grinder and basically whoops his ass in his first attack with nice micro and some help from Jolly, I send all my lings out but get faced with a couple zlots along with a lot of rines, back I run as the zlots would hold me off long enough for the rines to do serious damage. I give it 10 seconds and see that they decided to use this force to make sure grinder was going down. I hit Jolly, and kill a couple wayward scv’s but really it was like a fly trying to fly through a closed window, I just bounced off rather pathetically.
I get hydra den and at the momment my first hydras are morphing I get my candy poo ass checked into the smackdown hotel and a combo of meds, bats, rines and zlots kick my ass from here to eterntiy =[
End:
I played bad and was deciding on tactics more than really implementing anything, next time I will be more action than thought (hopefully).
Was kinda a none game but it is the only one I played yesterday that I have pictures for, which now I have typed this I can’t seem to put them in. Oh well I will add something at the start about that.
