They are both well known in Battlereports.com and I would first like to thank them for allowing me to observe this game between them on Dire Straits. Please DO NOT rate on the two reports that I sent in with the word "test". Well, here goes the game...

The game starts with both players going for a Supply Depot, a Refinery and a Barracks, at almost the same time. Then they both had a Factory up and got another Supply Depot. Johnny_Vegas got some Marines up and put the marines separately to different unexplored areas of his base. That's when their build orders began to change. Johnny_Vegas got SCVs to build 2 Starports but Bob_the_Newt commanded 3 SCVs to build 3 Starports. I figured that Johnny_Vegas would be going for drops and Bob_the_Newt would be going for air. After the Starports completed, both players went for a Wraith in each Starport, and had all the Wraiths scouting for the opponent's bases after that, also at the same time. However, both players' Wraiths met each other and began a totally unexpected Wraith assault on one another. Outnumbered, Johnny_Vegas lost all his Wraiths and Bob_the_Newt's remaining 3 or 4 Wraiths quickly went back to the main base for repair. (See Picture 1)

Both players builded a second Command Center, with Bob_the_Newt completing it first. Johnny_Vegas loaded 3 Tanks, a SCV and 8 Marines into 3 Dropships. Bob_the_Newt flew the just completed Command Center to the expansion at the left of his main base. However, Johnny_Vegas did not fly the Command Center over to an expansion because Bob_the_Newt attacked! He got 7 Wraiths and 3 Dropships full of Vultures, Marines and a few SCVs down onto Johnny_Vegas' base and just brutally attacked the base. Johnny_Vegas had a couple of Tanks protecting near the Command Center so it was not easy to just get the whole base. Using an unknown strategy, Bob_the_Newt got his SCV to build a couple of Missle Turrets at Johnny_Vegas' base while attacking. Johnny_Vegas returned the "favor" by dropping the tanks at a clever position and destroyed a small part of Bob's base.(See Picture 2)

Only then did Johnny_Vegas flew his Command Center over to the expansion on the left of his main base. Bob_the_Newt went scouting with 6 or 7 Wraiths again. He found Johnny_Vegas' newfound expansion and destroyed the Command Center. Then the Wraiths continued to scout Johnny_Vegas, remembering too well how his Command Center got destroyed, loaded a SCV and 3 Marines into a Dropship and flew it to the expansion at the bottom left of his main base, the bigger one. He was convinced that defense was more important and builded a Missle Turret and a Bunker before the Command Center. That's when Bob_the_Newt's Wraiths finished scouting and went for Johnny_Vegas' main base. I silently laughed when Bob_the_Newt's Wraiths flew past Johnny_Vegas' new expansion without seeing it.

The Wraiths rested at the empty part of Johnny_Vegas' main base whereby Bob_the_Newt had a SCV and a Missle Turret. Bob_the_Newt cloaked the Wraiths and flew them to Johnny_Vegas' buildings. They killed a Missle Turret and became free from detection. However, Johnny_Vegas replaced the Missle Turret and the Wraiths uncloaked. They did some damage but that's when a Goliath came into view and scared away the Wraiths. (See Picture 4)

The escaping Wraiths found Johnny_Vegas' second expansion and killed a half-completed second Command Center. (The expansion was one with 2 sides of minerals, so Johnny_Vegas was building a second Command Center to speed up the rate of resource mining.) That's when Johnny_Vegas went for another expansion at the right of his main base and guarded it heavily. That's also when Bob_the_Newt founded an risky expansion in between his and Johnny_Vegas' main base. The Wraiths went for Johnny_Vegas' second base at the bottom left of his main. But Valkeries arrived just in time and they forced the Wraiths to retreat. Then Bob_the_Newt loaded Marines and Medics into 3 Dropships and went straight for the rebuilded expansion that he destroyed early in the game. As I said, this Expansion was quite heavily guarded. But as he outnumbered Johnny_Vegas, Bob_the_Newt still managed to destroy it. Bob_the_Newt got 3 Battlecruisers up and went straight for Johnny_Vegas' main base.(See Picture 5)

Johnny saw the Battlecruisers and said, "I'm dead". He left. Bob_the_Newt and I discussed about the game while his Battlecruisers and Wraiths incinerated the Johnny_Vegas' bases which had motionless SCVs. But after a minute or two, I allied with Bob_the_Newt and the game was completed.
