Mantra vs -Rob[SPU]

Early Game

Both players start with a standard building order on Dire. Mantra builds a supply depot with his 9th SCV. Also, -Rob[SPU] builds a pylon with his 9th probe. Both of the players get early gas and are taking their time. Soon later -Rob[SPU] builds a cybernetics core. My first guess was templar when he did this. During this time Mantra started a factory. Mantra builds a starport, -Rob[SPU] builds himself a stargate. It seems both players want to go on the offense. They don't have any defense at this point. -Rob[SPU] built himself a Robotics Facility. Meanwhile Mantra gets himself his 2nd Factory and 2 Starports.

A Little Action Please?

-Rob[SPU] gets a corsair and sends it in to Mantras base. It quickly was killed by 2 fresh marines. Seeing a window of chance, -Rob[SPU] loaded his first dropship with his 3 zealots and started 2 more gateways. He sent the dropships to Mantra's base. This causes a lot of havoc and killed most of Mantra's SCV's. 2 wraiths and 2 vultures pop out and kill them.d by -Rob[SPU], he makes about 3 photon cannons. -Rob[SPU] trys again with a drop. This time he sends only a zealot and a dragoon with a corsair escort. The corsair is quickly killed by 2 cloaked wraiths and the dragoon and zealot are taken care of by 2 tanks and a vulture. Seeing that he will be killed in all attacks, he gets an observatory and a few observers. Mantra sends 3 cloaked wraiths over to -Rob[SPU]'s base, but are seen by an observer and is destroyed by 3 dragoons. -Rob[SPU] counters with a reaver and and dragoon followed by an observer. The dragoon is held up by 2 wraiths while the reaver moves up and sends 3 buildings to the red zone. The reaver is engaged by 3 tanks, the reaver manages to destroy one, but killed by the others.

Time to Expand!

Both players decide to expand at the same time! -Rob[SPU] takes the expansion above him and Mantra takes the one above himself. -Rob[SPU] finds Mantra's expansion with an observer and sends a drop force over to it. Mantra quickly cancels it. Mantra now finds -Rob[SPU]'s expansion. Mantra quickly sends 3 wraiths over to -Rob[SPU]'s expansion just as a photon cannon is warped in. The wraiths take out the cannon using hit and run attacks. 2 Dragoons are dropped off and take care of the offending wraiths. -Rob[SPU] quickly constructs 2 photon cannons there. Mantra atempts expand again. He lands there with a nice drop force and protects it with missile turrets. -Rob[SPU] takes another island, this one is above his 1st expansion. Mantra takes the island between -Rob[SPU] and himself.

Let the Drops Begin!

-Rob[SPU] has his 4th gateway and a fleet beacon up at this point. Meanwhile, Mantra is trying to win the island back. Mantra also gets his 2nd expansion up and running, but, the only problem with that is, -Rob[SPU] gets his 3rd! Mantra soon finds out hes behind on expansions. Now will he tolerate this? Well, sorta. Mantra makes looks for a good spot for his 3rd, and sees -Rob[SPU]'s 3rd expansion. He quickly sends over a few dropships and carriers! He tares this base apart. -Rob[SPU] responds by sending 3 dropships with dragoons&other units over to it, killing the Terran presance. Mantra sees another expansion go up! He sends another drop force to this base, and -Rob[SPU] lets it fall...

The Army of Doom

Mantra wins back the expansion between -Rob[SPU] and hinself. The the sky darkend.... Dropships and Carriers make their way over to Mantra's base. They stop at the newly won expansion to show their power... Storms crackle the air as the carriers ravage many buildings. Dragoons and zealots storm the expansion... Mantra, seeing no chance of holding this off, he concedes and leaves.
