Lifetime Rating for Mr.Newbie.2.U: 5.0000 |  | Hello all, This is my first Battle Report so stick with me here, I have reported a great battle between 4 magnificent players. All of which tried very hard in this game (well.. except Phiber-Optik, he just sucked) But anyways here we go.
Players: (all of whom went random)
Phiber-Optik 'yellow' was zerg at the 9 o'clock position
Xel'naga_God 'blue' was terran at the 6 o'clock position
I-ball 'brown' was protoss and at the 12 o'clock position
ExecutorDaanis 'white' was terran at the 3 o'clock position
Now to the game...
At the beginning of the game, ExecutorDaanis starts a wall-in by building a supply and a barracks at choke while Xel'naga does the same by his CC. I-Ball goes for the old-schoo duel gate which is a classic, and Phiber-Optik goes early expansion. Phiber-Optik locates I-Ball early with his starting ovie. Xel'naga_god gets 2 more barracks during this time while ExecutorDaanis sends 2 marines over to I-Ball's base to get rid of the overlord lingering around. Phiber-Optik quick expansion has 4 sunkens with 3 more coming in for defense. I-Ball is steadly pumping zealots while starting another gateway with cybernetics core. Blue pumps fb/marine/medic in hopes to spank someone during this quiet peroid in the game. At last this quiet time ends as ExecutorDaanis sends 2 tanks, 6 marines, and 2 medics over to Phiber-Optik's expansion to take it down. I-Ball sends a nice amount of Zealots to support ExecutorDaanis's attempts to take out this expansion. During all this Phiber-Optik has no chance of defeating this ammount of enemies for the fact he is turtling like a newbie. Xel'naga_God noticing this, he sends his troops of firebats/marines/medics to the hostile territory the opposing team held. This was the first real battle of the game, but in the mess and confusion, ExecutorDaanis and I-Ball defeat Xel'Naga_God's great force. While ExecutorDaanis slowly and steadily destroys Phiber-Optik's expansion, blue sends another hefty amount of infantry to the sight to duke it out again and spoil ExecutorDaanis's plans. Again he fails miserably at the attempt, but during all this commotion, Phiber-Optik sends in 12 lings and destroys the 2 tanks that ExecutorDaanis was using... It was to late though, the newly born hatchery blew up =( sad sad day.. During all this Brown has been teching like mad. No one has expanded yet successfully. After a few silent minutes ExecutorDaanis builds and finishes a CC and pumps CC's only to be stopped by blue who put tanks on the cliff above him. He moves this CC to his mineral only expansion. I-Ball has also decided to expand in all this at his natural. His Nexus warps in safely and he mines with no problems. Now Xel'naga_God is trying to expand, but ExecutorDaanis says hell no, he goes and does the same thing Xel'Naga_God did to him.
Middle Of Game
Now it is getting to the middle of game, and everyone is trying to expand except Phiber-Optik. Yes, He is still turtling in his base. In this game, only 2 have expanded successfully, and they just happen to be on the same team, I-Ball and ExecutorDaanis. Now Phiber-Optik and Xel'naga_God are planning a mass attack on someone gathering all there guys in the middle. Xel'Naga_God sends mass marine/medic with tanks and Phiber-Optik has mass cracklings and 12 guardians, then they go on the move. (remember this is all while brown HASN'T been attacked once, or even scouted for that matter) Now the 2 partners go straight for ExecutorDaanis. Phiber-Optik's guardians take out all defenses on the outside of base, and this lets all his lings go into the base destroying almost all of it before the last ling is destroyed and the onslaught is over. Meanwhile, Blue attacked ExecutorDaanis's mineral only expansion only to meet dragoons/zealots/templars. Luckly though for Xel'Naga_God, all of I-Ball's shots were off target. I-Ball's attack was strong enough for the expansion of ExecutorDaanis to survive. In all the fog and stench of blood and rubble from buildings, he floated his barracks and other buildings over to I-Ball. Then ExecutorDaanis built 4 Barracks and started pumping mass marine/medic/firebat. Now into the game, this was basically a 2v1. Phiber-Optik used all his minerals for the mass attack that failed, so he conceided and left saying farewell. This left it to I-Ball and ExecutorDaanis to take out Xel'Naga_God which was only a matter of time. Now, ExecutorDaanis (which let me mention, should have been killed off) sends his first squad of 30 men into attack, they weakened the defenses enough for I-Ball to run in with dragoons/zealots/temps to finish off the early expansion. Now ExecutorDaanis sends in his second squad of marine/medic into Xel'Naga_God's base followed by I-Ball's infantry sent the town to rubble, this is where Xel'Naga_God conceides and says good game. | | Battle Shots! |
