Type:Custom,pretty much default only with RU injections and disabled research.
Overveiw:This was the fastest match I ever watched,both players stuck mainly to Frigates.
The Build-up
Hypno started in 6:30/4:50,Exel started in 3:20/8:30. Neither went for anything above Destroyer class.By 5 minutes into the game Hypno launched a small scale raid on one of Exel`s resource operations.the raid cost Exel a trio of Collector`s and three Controllers.The raid also cost Hypno an Assault frig and some `vettes.
All out war
Exel retaliated with a larger raid consisted of 4 Destroyers and 12 Ion Cannon frigs.The assault managed to cost Hypno a few Frigates and a Destroyer,Exel lost 6 frigates and a Destroyer.
Exel retreated his fleet back home only to have Hypno`s vengeful Destroyer`s assault.They Destroyers got snagged by Salvage `vettes.
Hypno`s time was running out.
The Fall of Hypno
Exel with his brand new fleet of Destroyers and Frigates launched a Hades` Umbrella from the bottom on Hypno`s MS.Hypno cussed a little as his Ms burst into a ball of flames.
Exel got his payback then threatened me with vengance as the game ended.
Lessons learned:
1:Exel is very good with those Frigates.
2:Hypno is a newbie and can easily be angered and provoked.
3:Exel`s on an ego trip.
On one last side not,I`ll bet participating in a battle royal tomarrow between me,Exel,Hypno and Travis.Hopefully I`ll have a report on it.
