BATTLE COMMENCES:
This time around I feel a little more cofident for some reason. I do the HM build, its pretty good this time. He scouts me real early before I get any defences up so he got good info. I send out deion peon to check out our toss friend. I find him at 9 spot, deion zig zags past the probe he got blocking the ramp and gets the info, he got 2 gates and a cy core working, ranged goonz today.
WANT SOME SOUP???:
Seeing that he's going with goons I bypass vultures for a time and get fast tanx. By the time he decides to pay a visit I already got 3 tanx at the ledge, his attempt to get up the ramp is fruitless to say the least, he loses about 4 goons while I lose nothing. The goons are scared and run away.
HMMM.....WHAT DO WE HAVE HERE?:
Finally I make a vulture and use it to scout the map, I find that he's expanding to the 12 spot. I manage to kill the probe and hurt the warping nexus a bit before his goon force gets me. NOW its personal.
DROPPING IN:
Knowing that I can't let his exp get on track I prepare a nice 1 ship drop consisting of 2 vultures w/mines and a tank. I drop them just out of the reach of his photon cannon, I fry all his probes and the photon as well as mining his peon line. Then come the goons, he loses quiet a few of them thanx to mines. While I'm taking down his exp I expand myself but before I can do that I had to fry an annoying little DT he got walking around there.
OH SHIT!:
Just as my expansion is up and running he drops 2 DTs and an archon in my main peon line, I run my peons away and fry the bastards but not before losing my sci fac.
TOSS MUST DIE:
While he was dropping me I dropped his exp again, this time I got 2 tanx and 4 vultures, I plant mines kill some probes and a few defending zealots. His goons rumble in again and again he loses a lot of em to mines and cannon fire.
I THINK HE'S PISSED:
Yup, that pissed him off because moments later a dozen plus goons hit my gimme, I manage to fight them off but I lose most of my peons. I also find out that he has taken the upper left island, I drop it with 2 tanx and kill some peons before they bite it.
ITS ASS KICKING TIME:
Well now I got quiet a force of vultures/tanx and wraiths so I decide to shut him down. I hit his 12 exp for the 3rd time and take it down without much resistance. His main is next on the menu, I use SV to spot for tanx killing his temps and goons. I come in and annihalate his main.
GAME OVER:
AT this point its just mop up, I take the 3 spot for extra gas and drop tanx on his islands. He says "you the man", "good game" and promptly surrenders. I think my terran skillz impressed him=]
LESSONS LEARNED:
-Goons are the coolest diers, i luv that soup.
-Tanx give goons some major ass whoopin'.
-Terran ownz toss.
-Who needs pictures, they just take up space! =] |
