Protoss randomed (Zerg) 9:00
I was using Protoss, and decides that I should use the same build order that I always do against random
i went pylon, gateway, gateway, assimilator, pylon and made a lot of zealots
Distec early expanded and made early zerglings
(most good players mass up early zerglings against protoss in early game)
Distec made a lot of zergligns at his main base
I in turn made a lot of zealots in my base
After my 4rth Gateway was finished I made an expansion
i decided that I would make goons and reavers to counter whatever he has.. i scouted and saw that he had ANOTHER expansion at the 3:00 place.
It was very intersting, he had spread out his hyrdas and lings in such a way that he could both defend his 3 hacheries
{I think he was playing around with me but i wasn't sure}
When i Had about 10 dragoons and 7 zealots with 1/0/0 upgrades with 2 reavers i decided to attack
i was planning to drop one of my reavers at his main base but it was destroyed by 3 mutalisks patroling the side of my natrual
Distec using his genius and intelligence had stationed a lot of his troops near me, sortof containing me
I attacked his troops first with dropping my reaver, then pulling it back and then attacking with my main troops but i was not fast enough.. I pulled back and he retreated also
I decided to make templars since i saw that he had lings/muta/hyrda
When i had 2 templars charged with pisionic energy and a ton of random protoss troops (zealots and dragoons) I launched an attack at his troops guarding my base sortof
Distec did a little dance in which he moved around his troops not really fighting mine, and pow he had 6 mutalisks coming at me
i was not worried , i had 3 cannons and a goon guarding my main base
what did he do ?! with UTTER and SUPREME micro he used 3 muta a piece to attack each one of my tempalrs and killed them, but not b4 i could launch 2 storms at his muta
rigth after the high temps died, the mutas RAN back to home sort of, but it was really at the side of my base
he rushed all his troops and killed mine
he had 6 expansions he later showed me in which 4 was constantly filled with drones and probes
so even though i had upgraded goons and zealots because i didnt' have the high templar storm and no dt he just killed my expansion easily and went into my main base!
he killed everthing but my nexus
Aparently my nexus held a some sortof mystical power that allowed me vision of his entire bases which showed a greater spire, a hyralisk den, and about 8 hatcheries
will my luck hold ? will carriers sprout out of my ever powerful nexus ? NO
a tremendously cool looking 20 guardian force attacked me and in came all other troops, thus ending the game
gg's were exchanged
LESSONS LEARNED
try to use hit and run tactics at the tech units b4 you attack with your rest of your troops!
make tons of probes! its fun and helps your game
There actually is a way of making your probes go faster to your expansion
you put your probes near your nexus b4 it is completed,
and then u can mine RIGHT when the nexus is done?
is that not special ? trust me it is i've played about 400 + games
