After an embarrasing loss in the i2e2 tournament, [9]NTT, was angered that some people in the room
suggested that he might not be that good. Actually, no one really said this, it was just what
[9]NTT perceived. In any case [9]NTT suggested that Mark4 was but an "average" player, and continued
to maintain that he himself was godly. Well I've seen Mark4 play more than most people and I'm not
going to let this braggart talk shit about my pal, when I know Mark4 is DAMN GOOD. So in my pal's defense
I remark that Mark4's not average, he's good, and if I was going to bet money on Mark4 vs [9]NTT I'd put my
bread on the man with the M-16 and the malt liquor!
Here's what our good friend [9]NTT say's mark has to put in his profile if he loses.... That doesn't sound
too cocky to you kids at home does it?
Mark4 demands something in return to be placed in NTT's profile. Notice the humble self-deprecating message
that he requests. Mark4 isn't out to brag as shown below..
And no folks this wasn't Mark4's desperate attempt to come out of the closet. He only loves men for the entirely
heterosexual way that one man can love another for his SC skill. Yes, yes I KNOW he's in the army.. But only a
small percentage of those men rub the cat the wrong way, if you know what I mean.
Knowing that Mark4's strength is beating the pulp out of every terran player he comes across, I couldn't really imagine
him losing to terran. So the intial statement I made to goad NTT into playing was this.. "I bet Mark4's toss, would whipe the floor
with your terran." this incited NTT to say "Ok, lets go RIGHT NOW!". Hehe well he said something like that. You can't expect me to
remember the specifics, I'm an old man after all. (Damn it where did I leave my dentures..).

[9]NTT Terran 9 o clock
Being the cool man that he is, NTT does the "in" thing and goes for gas first. He gets away with it too, as Mark4 techs like that dude
in Back to the Future when Marty's only got a couple hours before he's got to drive his car by the clock tower. (that means he teched real
fast, kinda like how the Doc had to rig up that Flux capacitor thingie.... you know that piece of hardware he discovered when he
hit his head on the... oh Never mind then!)
Mark sends in a probe to scout NTT, and discovers he's going for he HeartCutter popularized Heavy Metal Strat! Could NTT be a Heartcutter fan? If so
he can't be all bad! Wait, maybe he learned it from Heart's evil nemesis HeartTransplanter.. That could very well be the truth of it all... well anyway back to the story.
The two players are quiet as my cats during Rook's feeding time, so far. Mark4's teching to templar tech along with making a good number of ranged goons. Meanwhile NTT, secures his natural with some mines, and some siege tanks on the nearby ledge.
Feeling safe he floats down a CC and maynards a good number of SCV's to get it up and running. At this point Mark4's losing the resource
race to NTT the old pro. NTT is amassing many many tanks, spacing them evenly along with some turrets for detection. Mark4 finally expands to the 3 o clock position. I'm a little worried though for Mark4 never maynarded any probes to his new
expansion. He simple built new ones once the nexus was up.
If NTT got some balls he'd go take Mark4 out "perhaps" at this point, or at least try. Unfortunately he's content just biding his time and letting Mark4 get even with him on resources. Mark4 also expands to the 6 o clock spot as well. If you think this game is too quiet, well then I agree! Mark4 plays that way. He'll just expand.. mass units, constantly keeping a
force of goons and temps outside of your base... like a cobra, ever waiting for his chance to strike.
A few small skirmishes take place, as NTT is able to push mark4's goons back to make room to mine his mineral only natural. At this point NTT notices Mark4 has the 6 o clock expansion. He loads up quite a few tanks in about 2 dropships and drops in the small ravine
between 9 o clock and 6! What a sneaky devil that NTT is!! Oh boy! Do you know that you can hit the nexus from that low ground? Man o man, he's sneaky, but guess who's sneakier? That's right
folks, old timer Mark4 who had carefully placed a Dark Templar in the ravine ready to ambush the tanks! And ambush it did! It ambushed them tanks tell the cows came home. The tanks died with the help of a reinforcement Dtemp from the middle of the map.
Mark4 kept fending off attacks on the 6 o clock expansion by the skin of his teeth. More tanks were dropped and even an armada of wraiths deployed, but with the use of storm, dtemps and some zealots, destruction was avoided and Mark4 held on to the 6 oclock expansion.
NTT tried to be a sneaky devil and expand to the 6 natural, and mineral expansion but old wily, slow mousespeed clickin Mark4 would have none of that. In went the dtemps and zealots to send the CC and SCV's home in body bags.
NTT simply had no answer as Mark4 finally showing some sign's of aggression proceeded to roll over NTT's field of tanks with Speed Zealots and dtemps. Mark nearly destroyed the mineral expansion
Command center at 9 o clock, but took out a lot of tanks in the process.
NTT had no answer for this attack. Out of options and unable to gain any true map control he concedes the game.
In decisive fashion Mark4 beat NTT. Personally I don't know what NTT was doing. He sure wasn't very aggressive versus Mark4. He kinda just sat back and waited to die. NTT ammassed an incredible amount of tanks, I'll give him that. But what's a lot of tanks do for you if they are only used for defense?
So folks, I'll leave it up to you decide if NTT's bad attitude and braggart nature is really warranted. This just goes to prove that you don't have to brag, and say your godly, to be a badass.
Any man that says Mark4 is only an average player can kiss my ass. =D
