Hi,and welcome to the second |]agomar pic report! This one is far, far better than the first,
at least in terms of image quality. I mean the two don't don't compare. They don't come close.
They are far, far apart, in a farish apartish sort of way.

Er, em, yeah, so anyway, the images are great. Way different from the last report, in that they
are in these cool funky collages that I really like very much. Hopefully, you will be smiling by
now, otherwise this holariously funny and uplifting prologue will have absolutely no meaning. If
by now, you find yourself getting irritated, you're in luck, because I'm moving on to a somewhat
more functional part of this piece.

Alright, now on a serious note: the style of this rather original report is copyrighted, by me.
That means if you're strange and self-destructive enough to ever consider writing anything like
this, e-mail me immediately at dagomar@hotmail.com, and I'll probably say yes. But if you
dare
copy this format, I assure you you are toast. Fried. color=red> Done for. I'll have more lawyers on your tail than you can imagine even in your worst
nightmares.

OK, and after that somber threat, it's on to our feature presentation!

Oh, but, eh, one last side note. A day = 15 minutes in the real game.

Hello, and welcome to yet another Edition of Primetime on the Galaxy News Net: your number
one source of information, whoever you are, wherever you live.

And first, to our lead story:

Word today that the famous Protoss Executor known only by the mysterious name of color=red> |]agomar

plans to retake the massive, heavily forested and
mineral-rich planet of Green Valleys after it has recently been seized and plundered by the evil
renegade Zerg swarm under the Command of YoursHero. The vile Cerebrate responded with an angry
and obviously genuinely felt "huk," but it looks like his time on the beautiful planet may be
up, since there's also a large Terran fleet entering orbit as we speak, led by the infamous and
highly experienced Captain who calls himself obsidan. Will
the millions of beleagured Protoss survivors be relieved from their brutal torture, or will they
remain in the hands of the enemy? Only time can tell . . . .

Our Secondary Item:

The UED conquered the much contested planet that holds the Lost Temple today, with the majestic
Imperial flag being raised for all to see on the highest pinacle of the massive structure. It is
unknown how long the humans can hold the devastated battleground, yet at least for now it opens
the door to that other war-torn world: Green Valleys.

And that's all for today. Wishing you a very happy evening,
-Klael Dickens

Hello, and welcome again to Primtime on the Galaxy News Net: your number one source of
information, whoever you are, wherever you live.

Breaking News:

A glittering new nexus has warped into the top center position of the Green valley battlefield,
the first step into what its Executor, |]agomar, has called the "return of the Protoss and the
conquest of what is rightfully ours." The monolithic structure is gleaming with yellow paint,
the official color, says its leader, of "retribution." We turn now to field correspondant Mark
Jennings for more:

Well Klael, four robotic peons are already working on those minerals, and
|]agomar seems to
already have enough minerals to initiate construction of a fifth. A rapid response Zerg force
had taken upon itself the dull brown color of the more arid regions of this world, apparantly
for better camoflauge, and has declared that it will "crush all resistance" under its mighty
claw. Apparantly, the cerebrate has ordered a program of rapid tech up, and already a sunken
colony is mutating onto the filthy creep. A blue Terran Command Center has also descended onto
the rich 3:00 location of the planet's prime battlefield, opposite the 9:00 Zerg. It's lights
are blinking frantically: obvious signs that the feared human captain, former pirate and
responsible for the death of over a thousand Confederate soldiers, has also gathered enough
resources to train another of the much-needed and ever-useful SCVs.

Well, thank you Mark.
No problem, Klael. We'll be here tomorrow too, reporting on what has now become
the number one news story in the galaxy.

And we'll donate all our time on this war from now on, the important event that it is, so visit
us daily for the latest developments and the best analysis on TV today. Wishing you the best of
goodbyes, this is Klael Dickens.

Hi there, and, as always, this is Primetime on the Galaxy News Net: your number one source
of information, whoever you are, and wherever you live.

As usual, we turn straight to our story of the week: the war in Green Valleys.
|]agomar
has pursued a very atypical build order in his latest conflict,
especially for a planet as immense as this. The other leaders are following their own carefully
hidden contruction projects, which our ever hard working reporter Mark Jennings has uncovered
for all our viewers to see . . . .

Instead of rapidly researching the more advanced branches of awe-inspiring
Protoss science, the Executor has followed first the conventional build order of a psionically
induced pylon and two towering gateways, but then created two more pylons, followed by zealots,
mass probes and a shield battery close to his peon line. Our resident military strategist Carl
Diefenbaker, who served first as a Sons of Korell General and then as a Dominion Rear Admiral
after he played a critical role in the fall of Tarsonis, is forced the question the intelligence
of this move. Carl, what would you do in such an occasion?

Well Mark, reconnaisance is the key on a world like this. I would definately
tech straight up to robotics facility, and then the observatory. I know a thing or two about
what those observers can do, having faced them far too many times myself, and I tell you they're
critical for
|]agomar's color=green> survival. Once I find what types of armies the enemy is building, I'd customize my
own plan to count-

Wait a minute Dief - it looks like he's following your advice! A probe has just
moved into position and is warping in a facility as we speak! Repeat: a facility is under
construction! This could have profound implications for the rest of the war.

It certainly could. Yep.

Did I ask you to speak? You're ruining my piece!

Um, well . . .

Shut up! Geez! Er, anyway, the Zerg, unlike the Protoss, seem to be
following our advice, and are teching up at simply amazing rates. Already a hive has been
morphed at his revolting main, and creep is spreading from two other sites as well. Given too
much time, the Renegade Cerebrate could expand all over the western side of the battlefield and
attack with highly advanced units before his enemies even have an airfoce, let alone a natural.
The seasoned Terran commander is doing relatively poorly, yet is researching the feared human
technology, and will likely soon have science vessels, a frightening thought for both his alien
foes. Over to you, Klael.

Thank you for that, and be sure to tune in tomorrow, which our analysts all agree could very
probably be the first day of real action. This is Klael Dickens saying good bye, and good night.

Hello, and welcome to yet another Edition of Primetime on the Galaxy News Net: your number
one source of information, whoever you are, wherever you live.

As usual we turn to our lead story, and once more, here's Jennings with the inside scoop:

Well it's been a grueling day here on Green Valleys. The Terrans and Zerg seem
to be bitterly at war, with the human commander executing many stinging harassing attacks with
his growing airforce. Wraiths have been called into battle, and about half a group seems to be
dodging bravely through the deadly spines and devastating spores of the Zerg defenses, ravaging
outposts and shutting down economies all over the map. Now the hidden dimension behind this
furious conflict is that
|]agomar color=red> has no clue as to any of this, even though the frail, spindly visage of an
Observatory is, according to our inside sources, even now researching the much-valued speed
upgrade. But observers have obviously not been made in time, and the Executor is still massing
speed enhanced ground forces at his natural's dusty chokepoint, where he's phased in a nexus,
two lines of defense, cannons and two shield bases. The entire main base has been peppered with
cannons at strategic locations as well, and to his credit the Protoss leader has just started
constructing dragoons to augment his armies. The templar tech trees have been researched as
well, and already a Dark Archon, mutliple Dark Templar and about 8 High Templar are miling about
at the choke and throughout his main.

What's more, a new expansion has been initiated at the left island mineral-only site, started
nakedly by a lone peon, which is quite a risk with wraiths skimming just above the jungle,
intent on carnage and destruction.

Cooincidentily, we have a special guest here tonight: Mark4, a sargeant in the Confederate
Reserve and later an aide to the legendary vulture pilot known only as Raynor. Mark4, being the
Confederate Navy's finalist twice in a row for Protoss simulation, what do you think of the
Executor's gameplay?

It's crap.

Er, yeah, well, why?

Big map. Tech fast. Pump out observers. I mean WTF is he doing. color=blue>

Well is it not so that you yourself have endorsed the very strategy color=red> |]agomar now appears to be
undertaking?

Don't go there. I mean it man.

Well, really-

Shut it.

Mark4, isn't it the case that-

That'll be four to you man.

Now look. You're either on this program or-

Listen I could grab your neck squeeze it twist it and crack it and you'd be
gone.

Silence. Nervous coughing heard in background. GNN cover music gains in volume and credits
hurriedly scroll by.

January 29th, 2500

Hi there, this is Primetime, and this is your host Klael Dickens. You've made a good choice
tuning into GNN, winner of 17 rewards of varying value and cost for our outstanding and
critically acclaimed coverage of the showdown at Green Valleys.

And on that happy note, it's on to that record-breaking story, and to Mike Garner, sitting in
for Mark Jennings:

Thanks Klael! Well we're sorry Mark couldn't be here today, but he was found
yesterday with 2 large gashes to his neck and a broken arm just 50 metres away from the nearest
Spaceport. But since none of us here at GNN really knew the man, who cares anyway.

Today has been a thrilling day on this horrifically battle-scarred planet. After the Zerg
cerebrate was neatly contained within his main base by the feared Terran commander, he suddenly
came to the devastating realization that it was no use. In order to defeat both a Terran and a
Protoss in mid game, the Swarm must massively expand, and with that an impossibility at least
for the moment, the cowardly renegade sneakingly snuck silently off this world, with the spiny
forms of four overlords and a couple escorting mutalisks just barely visible in the light of the
rising sun. Those dark visages were already lost to sight as the Protoss Executor began pumping
out observers, now suddenly caught in a very bad position.

We have our own strategist here once more now, Carl Diefenbaker. So Carl, what's happened here?

Well first of all I'd like all our viewers to first immediately read over
that famous Praetor battlereport "The Tao of FFA."

What a classic that was. Such a remarkable piece of prophecy . . . certainly
almost as good as that eternally stirring piece "A Protoss Epic"

I'm afraid I liked The Tao better, but that's beside the point. You see,
|]agomar has been
doing very well for two reasons: he has not been attacked and he is going for the largest
possible potential force. That means that he has expanded wildly across the top left corner of
the map, now having recently seized the gas-only expansion at the far corner, thus upping his
base total to four. The cunning Terran commander has, on the other hand, turtled in, and has
massed his military units until now he has a very powerful navy consisting of multiple
battlecruisers and numerous wraiths with Science Vessel support. So you see, with the demise of
the Zerg potential force no longer matters. Now the leader with the largest standing
army must win, not the one who has the best economy. It's a tough and perhaps unfair blow to the
Executor, and one he certainly couldn't have seen coming since
color=brown> YoursHero
still had a fair size standing
army, moderate resource intake and reasonable defenses.

Thank you for that. Back to the war, |]agomar's first observer has crossed
the vantage point of the swarm, and is going on an awkward O-shaped trail all around the map.
His second spying 'bot has fortunately for him headed straight for the blue human base, and is
currently hovering just above the enemy main. Yet a science vessel has spotted the rambling
little construct, and it's been blown out of the sky by what must have been around four
battlecruisers. Ouch.

Seeing this, the Protoss Commander has phased in two more starports, created an Arbiter for the offensive recall strategy he'd been preparing all along and initiated the construction of three scouts, all while researching increased sight range and speed.

His gas seems low, but three probes are rapidly built at his new 10:00 vespene expansion and soon
resources are flowing in once more. His ground units are now 2/2/3, these valued upgrades having
been researched from two seperate forge, and his dragoons have superior firing range. In the
air, the Praetor stands 1/2/3, yet another weapons power upgrade is currently being researched.
A deadly calm seems to fall over the silent Green Valley jungles, as each leader seems to
realize the reality of his situation and pursues what he considers to be the true path to
victory . . . .

And meanwhile, five observers hang still around
obsidan's
main, quiet with anticipation and observed in frantically
scanning reverie

Thanks for that prophetic touch, Mike, I'm sure all those peoples all over our great galaxy
really appreciate it. Well, signing off once more, this is Klael Dickens, your anchor.

January 30th, 2500

Welcome to Primetime! It's been a very busy already newsday today, and the still,
unspoken tension of Green Valleys has suddenly erupted into the blazing inferno of war. Mike,
take it away!

Hello again! Well, we all knew something was amiss when a massive Science
Vessel rolled into position above the Executor's gas-only expansion, darkening the sky above the
terrified probes and ominously beeping powerful homing signals throughout the war-torn world.
|]agomar obviously
felt the same way, for he immediately screamed in his five fully upgraded scouts, only to find
that eight of the awesome Terran battlecruisers had somehow slipped through his observer screen,
and now bore down upon him from the misty fog of war at the exact smae instant the scouts
arrived. It was a telling time as the brave fighter pilots targeted the sci vessel, easily
destroying it and sending 300 men to their graves, but were in turn crushed by the cruisers
without a single enemy loss, and were forced to watch their base crumple into nothingness from
their downed craft.

Once more, here's Carl Diefenbaker . . . .

Hello everyone. Indeed it seems that the Protoss Commander has a large
problem now, since his entire fleet has been destroyed, and all he has now to save himself from
the Terran Captain's wrath is his army, which consists largely of melee units, and a single
arbiter to use for a timely recall or stasis field. I believe he should've let his gas expansion
fall and produce three more scouts before attacking the eight cruisers, perhaps stasis fielding
half the ships so it would be 4 capitol ships versus the eight highly advanced Protoss fighters.
Of course I'm not the man to question the vaunted skills of
color=yellow> |]agomar,
but it sure is apparant that
obsidan has the
advantage now . . . .

But you have to remember that the dreaded Protoss spell casters could still
save the day, especially those high temps he has, waiting about in his main. Wait a minute -
breaking news now from the center of the valley: a Dark Archon has just mind controlled a
bengladaas, which is now walking into the human base, completely unopposed! It's halted just
behind the defenses, and Carl it looks like there's four Starports here . . . . color=brown>

Indeed, and none of them is working, which has to be a good sign to color=green> |]agomar. On another
note, the Protoss main has been mined out, and there's a line of probes escorted by two zealots
heading over to the 9:00 expansion site. Do you see it, Mike?

You bet Dief . . . but zealots don't seem to be the best escorting units
right now with wraiths all over the place.

Well you gotta realize that the Executor has no knowledge of the enemy
fighter threat: none of his observers has spotted them, and they haven't been used in combat
against him yet at all. I must say the human commander really knows how to hide a secret . . . .

Oh definately, but that's what you get if you serve for decades in a Pirate
organization. A comsat has just been initiated around the Terran fleet at the former gas
expansion, and the last Toss presence there, in the form of a lone observer, has been vaporized.
I take this as a clear sign that those cruisers are on the move, and they don't want the enemy
to know where they're going

And the only place they've got to go to if they stay on their present course
is the 11:00 expansion, the last remaining place where the Protoss are mining from, since their
natural has just run out too. This is a very exciting position, I'll say that much. color=green>

The Executor was overextended, which was fine for a FFA where nobody is
paying attention to him and he could just strike with the largest possible force when ready, but
which really, really hurts him now. Had the Protoss realized the Terran battlecruiser threat
just minutes before they did, perhaps a large enough force of scouts could've been mustered, but
now it all just seems too late.

I'm still looking at that probe line, and they seem to have gotten stuck at
the cliff, just realizing that their destined expansion is on a large plateau. A shuttle is
coming over to help them, and they land in the creep of an already bleeding hatchery. It seems
all drones have been eliminated by the wraiths, to prevent their mind-controlling by color=green> |]agomar's Dark Archon, a
very clever move.

This Terran Commander obviously has some good recon too, because eight
wraiths are screaming in, and that expansion is dead. The zealots are the first to die, then the
probes, but the shuttle, pursued by one fighter, manages to escape well into the red and now
recharges at a nearby shield battery. Well that's gotta be a well done maneuover: lure the enemy
into a place he can't retreat from and slaughter him. The Executor seems to think so to, as he
offers forth a "gj."

But that's not the end of the story, because another three scouts have just
been phased in, and are heading towards the terminated expansion attempt with full scale
observer support. I don't know, hree scouts against eight or seven wraiths . . . color=green>

Well those Protoss fighters are far more advanced and have all the upgrades,
even though he's totally outnumbered. The scouts are entering the battlefield with reasonably
good micro, and those humans are being massacred! Oh my God!

Shoot, that's not a pretty sight. One scout has just gone down, and now
another, but
obsidan's
fighter fleet is gone!

Well, it looks like he's moving in to retaliate, because those battlecruisers
have broke the horizon at the 11:00 site. Wow, look at that.

They haven't used Yamato yet, so we're forced to question whether they even
posses the ability, but then they don't exactly need it either. The lead leviathan takes a
couple shots from the residant photon cannons, but all resistance is squashed, and there goes
another 14 probes and the last resource site for the Executor

Now all he has is two depleted refineries and no minerals, but a reasonable
stockpile nonetheless. Holy shit, it looks like this isn't going to stand! The entire toss army
is moving into position, and an arbiter has slid into the battlefield! A recall vortex has
opened!

Will you look at all those spellcasters. The Protoss force is cloaked, and
the Terrans have no sci vessel support anymore. The high temps are frantically moving into
position, and the battle is on! Now why are there about two groups of zealots there? They aren't
gonna do anything!

A very bad move on |]agomar's color=yellow> part. Also, three dragoons have mistakenly been left behind,
which will also hurt in the end . . . .

Well those cruisers are really taking some damage, also from three scouts
that have just now arrived. The arbiter has been blasted to dust however, a tremendous loss for
the Protoss, but the high templar have psi stormed about half of those static cruisers to 250
hitpoints. Wait - a sci vessel has moved in! The spellcasters are scattering out of the way, yet
an Electro Magnetic Missile has left its hold and . . . .

Oh my God, look at that explosion! All shields are gone, and the Toss look
toast! But another two psi storms are let loose, and three of those cruisers stand at only four
hit points!

Yet just before they can be downed, all Toss resistance is squashed, and the
Terrans barely come out ahead once more. Wow, what a battle. Death tolls are
horrendous, with thousands of Terrans and hundreds of Protoss having been vaporized into the
turbulent skies of Green Valleys.

Those cruisers have taken some serious damage, and will be retreating to
repair. And Dief, that's the problem with these Terran fleets: hurting em doesn't matter because
they can always repair.

You bet. But wait - look! The Executor must be really mad right now, because
there's another three zealots backed by four dragoons heading straight to the Terran natural!

They've engaged the defenses! Those turrets are being blown into dust at
record speeds Carl!

Now the zealots are hacking into the Command Center, but a fleet of wraiths
arrives and it looks like the offensive if finished. With no claok detection available, color=green> |]agomar's are falling
like flies, but the noble zealots will sacrifice their lives to bring that Center down to the
yellow. Brave souls, we can all learn from them.

Bloody fanatics if you ask me! An SCV has just come in, and repairs have
commenced. A pack of wraiths has just vaporized a probe to the north of the Terran base, by the
way, unbeknownst to the Executor.

The Terrans have also begun final upgrades from two armouries, and seem to
have reached their supply limit. Just a minute - a shuttle has left the Protoss base, the same
heavily damaged one that barely escaped that single wraith a while back!

It's loaded with four templar!

It's approaching the battlecruisers still situated at the 11:00 island, but
is shot down before it can drop, and that's four of the Executor's closest friends
killed without honour! He must be furious!

It sure looks as though he is, because three more zealots have just raced out
of their base and burst through any remaining expansions! The Command Center has been forced to
lift off, the only human comsat is sliced apart and the refinery id blown into the ground, all
within a couple seconds! That's gotta hurt!
