Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you the fifth installment of…

Map hacker? Super ultra gosu? You decide, as you’ll probably be seeing a lot of this guy, now known simply as Jigga’. And then again, maybe not… Enough chit chat, lets get down to it…

Players:
Rekrul VS Jigga`

Map: Mausoleum
this guy has to be gosu, how many black persians do YOU know?

RekRuL opens the game with a little forwarning:

1307 sucks, really I swear…

Yes, well, in any case, we will see if thats the case soon enough. I sat back, munching on popcorn and prepared myself for a great game.

Early Game: The lack of an easily defensible natural expansion seems to pit the zerg at a disadvantage, but the wide open chokes more than make up for it, allowing for mass swarming tactics. And that is exactly what RekRuL, starting at 6:00 seems to gear himself for, going Ol, hatch at main, pool, hatch at expansion. Jigga`, landing at 9:00, opts for his traditional pylon, gate, gate, pylon, could be in major trouble if he allows his zerg opponent to power that much. Of course, Jigga` is far from stupid enough to allow this to go on, and prepares himself for a hard zealot rush. However, with his pool moments from completing, and the first few zealots just leaving the toss base, it appears that RekRuL has things well in hand. nice br, eh? Until he makes the odd decision to add gas and start a sunken at his natural, instead of pumping the expected 3 hatch lings. Jigga` immediately leaps on the opening, sending a zealot force along with probe support to crush the hatchery at the zerg natural. RekRuL, caught completely off guard concedes without the necessary forces to fight off the continuous stream of zealots coming in. GGs were exchanged, hope you enjoyed this round of king of the hill!

This has been a- wait, whats that? you want another match? Hmm, I guess that makes sense. A two in one is risky for someone with such a short attention span as myself, but im here to serve public demand. So, I now give you game two, this one pitting Jigga’ against his acquaintance Heroic-SCV. After much assurance that SCV would give me a much better game to br, we started the game…

Players:
Heroic-SCV VS Jigga`

Map: Mausoleum
ARE YOU READY FOR A GOSU GAME???

Yes, a good game is what I was promised. What I got was so sad, the entire game can be Brd in one pic. Jigga` picks toss starting at 9:00, with Heroic-SCV starting at 12:00 as zerg. Observe the pic below to see the extent of the game, beginning with Heroic-SCV’s speech concerning [USA]Lamer- errr I mean "Hawke" as they commence their Build orders…

DOH, NO GOSU GAME FOR YOU!

And thats it. Yes, the combined two matches for King of the Hill were around the amount of time it takes Ducky to cum after seeing his latest issue of Guys in Tights. Well, we both got back to the channel, Jigga` fairly comfortable being halfway home after a measly 8 minutes, and me trying desperately to figure out how to press "squelch" to get Lewis off my back for not having Jigga` play his (butt) buddy orc. And then it hit me. Lets make this a 3 game series…

Players:
Orcmaniac VS Jigga`

Map: Fading Realms

orc = last hope for all of Canada kind…

I knew Orcmaniac from observing a few games with him, and from what I have read at Br.Com, but I thought that during the pregame chat I would get to know him a little better. What better way than to play a little question and answer routine, eh? Anywho, recalling that him and Lewis were pronounced separatist, I thought I would ask him a question or two about his beliefs…

obviously orc knows what hes talking about, eh?

Hmm, interesting… Anyway, after Jigga` chose his customary protss and Orcmaniac decided to go random, the game started…

Early game: Orcmaniac starts off as terran in the lower right, Jigga` landing upper left, as both commence quick tech build orders. Jigga`, upon scouting his terran foe, commences at an early goon containment build, going pylon, gate, gas, pylon, core, gate, then quick goon range. Orcmaniac decides to go with a classic heavy metal build, of depot, rax, refinery, depot, then double factory. After building a first few vultures, Orcmaniac attempts to send them out, but a few goons stationed at the top of the ramp leading out if his base cause him to retreat them for the moment. In a slight lapse, Jigga` allows two of his goons to follow the vultures, which are promptly torn to shreds by waiting spider mines. While Jigga` adds a robotics facility abck at home, Orcmaniac adds machine shops, and son has some tanks to compliment his vulture force. Seiging up and then attacking with his vultures with the arclite support, he manages to break containment quite sucessfully.

hmm, separatist eh?

Orcmaniac is quick to take the low ground choke guarding both his main and the lower left expansion, as he prepares a CC to float there. Jigga`, having moved his containment force back to the middle of the map also takes the time to expand to the upper right, at the same time adding an observatory and a robotics support bay, soon after adding another gate, a citadel and a forge. BOOM shaka laka! After loading up a reaver and 2 zealots into a shuttle, Jigga` attempts a drop behind Orcmaniac’s mineral line. Orcmaniac, having anticipated such an event, already has mines scattered around his peons, and as the reaver unloads, it eats 2 mines sending it packing back to Aiur in multiple body bags, as marines and vultures easily take care of the remaining zealots.

Following this attempted drop, both players step back to tech some more, Jigga` adding a templar archives and scattering observers all over the map, while Orcmaniac moves his massive defense force of tanks and vultures to the choke leading to both of the expansions at the lower left, soon after expanding to the middle left spot, as Jigga` expands to his respectivemiddle right expansion. hmm, do you think those zealots might be separatists? I did too… Jigga`, quick to catch up to his terran foe, attempts a 4 zealot drop on the lower left expansion, but is easily quelled by vultures and nearby marines. At the same time however, Jigga` has added 2 stargates and a fleet beacon, getting to his later tech levels quickly thanks to his large mineral income. He then shows his very skillful knowledge of the map, as he ships a probe to the small plateau below his newest expansion and creates a cannon there. wtf is that black oil hoarder doing?? At first, I am purtudeped as to the purpose of this lone cannon, until Orcmaniac, also realizing the plateau’s importance, sends a drop ship towards it, almost having it shot down by the cannon before retreating. He chooses to drop his tank on the plateau below and using the drop ship to scout, takes it out. He then loads up the tank again, ships over to the plateau, and after sieging, begins to lay the smackdown on the probes mining at Jigga` third expansion. mog, u rox

The tank causes a considerable amount of havoc, until goons and a few storms rid the tanks stationed there. Back at their perspective bases, Orcmaniac has added a considerable number of factories and double armories as Jigga`, finding no easy way into the terran base through the front door, has constructed 2 carriers. WHEW! Lets take a step back and look at the mini map at this point in time. (note: scattered yellow dots are observers except for the ones directly above the middle left expansion, which are Jigga`s 2 carriers in waiting…)

two men walked into a bar…

As the game enters the late stages, it appears that Jigga` is quite content to sit back and build up a considerable force of ground as well as air to break the terran defense, while Orcmaniac is already preparing for such an occurrence by building a Science Facility and covert ops, ghosts now appearing on the battlefield. The two add to their production capabilities, keeping constant tabs on each other with observers and comsats, as they continue to build up their massive forces in the middle, only a screen away from each other, until it reaches almost ridiculous proportions. you think one of them would of ducked. ^^ The only event of any importance to occur during this time period is a successful storm raid on Orcmaniac’s bottom left expansion, as although he immediately started to move his scvs away when he spotted the shuttle, they bunched up trying to escape and made easy prey for the templar.

the tension mouting in the center was becoming unbearable, as waves of gollies, tanks, goons, zealots, templars, ghosts and carriers prowled their defensive lines. Unbearable to the point where even the patient Jigga` felt the need to make a move, and amazingly expanded to the middle mineral recourse node, right next to Orcmaniac’s defenses! Although he manages to establish a nexus and assimilator, upon seeing the new expansion, Orcmaniac immediately launches an attack on it… The first attack of many, many to come…

And then…

umm, whoah

sorry, make that double whoah

this battle literally lasted 5 minutes, and took up 2 folders worth of pics…

The sheer power of the protoss forces wears down on the terran defenses, until thanks to incredible micro to combat the wave after wave of troops he had to wade through, Jigga` makes it to the terran base. Orcmaniac offers a very solid "GG", and thus closes another chapter of King of the Hill…

final stats

After game chat!!!

doh, missing part of conversation =[

Well, Jigga` seems to be on quite the tear, now doesnt he? Hmm, 3 players, all around 1250-1300 go down, with the exception of Orc, in about 4 minutes a piece? Sounds like I need some REAL challengers… This means YOU! e-mail me if you wish to challenge: mjp_cev@hotmail.com

This has been…

whats my name bitch?!
