I was called up to watch a game between 2 friends. They play under the clan name Crap...which only consist of THEM 2...hahaha. I laugh at them about it...but it usually ends on them challenging me basketball..and me losing...but that's another story. Anyways....
This one is on lost temple.
Fulla'crap: 6 oclock
Fat^crap: 9 oclock
Both are good zerg players but haven't played in about a year each. So it's the battle of the OLD TIMERS.
Fulla draw brown zerg at 6, while fat draw white zerg at 9. Overlord are send and drones are cloned and sent to mine. Fulla send his straight towards 9 and fat's OL goes at 6...logical wise the respected Start position are the closest....just first of the masterful tactics.
Both opens with 9 pool, drone, OL and that's where everything change. fat seeing the OL quickly op for a creep, and gas, while fulla put second hatch at ramp while making drone after drone. Fat's pool came a few seconds....more like one second before fulla's and each had 3 larvae waiting to be transformed in to zerglings. Fat has a small advantage with the sunken placed close to his Gas....while Fulla depends solely on the ramp. The OL from each warrior give there respectable commanders all the info they need, as both players stay home with the first 6 zerglings. Fat with the gas he collected makes more drone/lings and morphs his only hatch in to Lair. Fulla seeing the gas disadvantage and having the production of 2 hatch compare to one from Fat, he op to try to overpower and test how good that sunken really is. He through up a extractor as well as eve chamber to drive the OL away and defend against flyers.
After a few moments of Ling making...fulla gather what seems to be a small band of 16-18 lings. His overlord at Fat's base show a spire JUST being made and 2 sunkens but slightly apart, one next to gas, and on near the middle of the base so it can cover bottom drones,as well as the ORIGINAL 6 lings..and a second hatch half way through. Upon seeing the lings 2 more drones went to sunken and the egg made in to zerglings. But Fulla's Lings got there quick and with some nice micro, went straight after bottom sunken as well as killing the defending 6 lings. Sunken falls but so do 8 of fulla crap's lings. The remaining 10 claw recklessly at the morphing Spire...but the 2 sunken's arrival ended there lives...BUT the spire falls.
Seeing this turn of fate, fulla throw up a den as well as morph his lair...and with another 2 groups or so of lings charging towards white's base. All seems lost and Fat have no choice but to sunken in....2 more drone come and creeps are formed as well as a spire. A short moment later, and eve chamber is formed. Now with speed upgraded lings and OL back in to Fat's base, fulla was able to avoid death via 5 sunkens, and camp outside at choke.
Fulla start his crazy expanding parade and start hatchies at 3 main, 3 natural and 6 only. He also starts lurker upgrade and a few hydras as well as one spore next to mineral at main. Fat with his economy stable and Spire done, starts a queen's nest as well as 6 mutas.
So far, fat has 5 sunkens...20 or so drones mining 8 3/5th used mineral patch, and 4 drones on gas. Also has a spire, half done queen's nest and 1 lair and one hatch. Fulla crap has 5 hatch total, 4 of them are at mineral sites and a hydra den with lurker upgrade and about 1 dozen hydras.
Knowning the need for minerals, Fat makes a bold move and expand to his natural, too bad fulla still had 2 groups of lings BURROWED at Fat's choke, and afraid of hydra fire, Fat does not have overlord to see the lings. The drone moves by but Fulla gets the info and most lings and 6 hdyra are send to deal with the expansion. 8 Muta could not prevent the death of the expansion and Fulla send another group or so of now 1/0 hydras to mop up. With his expansion lost, fat makes a desprete attempt to put fulla back. Group of controled muta and 3 overlords of lings were send to fulla's natural...you guys know the little rivine between 9 and 6...well Fulla was about to drop Fat's back side and had 2 full groups of hydra there. OL got massacred and Muta was met by more hydra at main as well as the mighty muta stopper...the SPORE COLONY.
I laughed at Fat for losing the lings and the usual, "Basketball tomorrow" message appeared.
GG was said and Fulla leaves victories...with now a small group of 6 hatcheries morphing at 3 main as well as 5 more all around.
Now i must leave you to go and meet my destiny....just cause of a little HEHE, now i have to go and play Fat^crap one on one basketball.
