OrganFarmR Vs. Melfuaru
OrganFarmR starts in the top left starting position, while Melfuaru starts in the lower left starting position. As the game progresses with normal build orders, OrganFarmR takes the time to expand to the top right starting position, which is quickly found by one of Melfuaru's scouting corsairs. Both players build up their forces. OrganFarmR going more dragoons and zealots, while Melfuaru went more high tech units such as reavers and dark templars. Both players however continued to get a lot of corsairs to prevent the other from expanding. They also had units covering all expansions for further protection of the other expanding without them knowing.
OrganFarmR tries to stop Melfuaru's dropships before they get to his newly made expansion but they are outrun by the speed upgraded shuttles who unload their troops onto a sparsely defended expansion which is soon demolished by Melfuaru's troops.
OrganFarmR takes his probes straight from his now demolished expansion and brings them to a middle island expansion close to his base.
Melfuaru also takes the time to expand to one of his nearby island expansions.
Melfuaru comes very close to destroying OrganFarmR's expansion, but is stopped by dragoons that were constantly dropped as reinforcements.
OrganFarmR destroys Melfuaru's only expansion, and takes another for himself, putting himself ahead in the game. There really were no final battles of desctruction. Melfuaru simply realizes that it is hopeless, since his probes are now sitting there with no minerals left to mine, and with OrganFarmR's 3 bases all collecting minerals.
It was a very well fought game. Both players did a very good job of keeping the other from expanding.
Malfuaru's final quote: "I shoulda fucking won this." Heh, GG all.
