Map : Dire Straits
My team : Me Blue Zerg(chosen) upper right
robagedon Brown Terran(chosen) upper left
Their Team : BiK Teal Terran(random) lower left
Kardas Red Zerg(random) lower right

Ok, first off i dont remember Kardas's real name, but it sounded like that. Second, yes it was 2v1, I'll get to that part. And third, BiK and Kardas are both great players, they owned me in another 2v2 that they joined by chance right after.

As the game starts I command my drones to harvest minerals, and begin morphing more to fund my planned hydra drop. I notice my partner has 5 scvs working, and no scvs being constructed. Eventually, he built others and started a barracks. My building order, which changes based on how alert I am at the moment, was going along smoothly and my lair was near done.

I take a look at my partners base and see a factory being built, one barracks producing marines, and 8 scvs working. Looking at the minimap, there seems to be a spot below robagedon's base that has a building. Zooming in, i see none other than a buker, yes, a bunker, being constructed there, about 50 miles from his main. "You do know this is an island map?" I said. "O. thanx." came the reply (If you look at the upper left island in dire straits, theres a part jutting out on the lower right. He must've thought this was his choke.)

As if robageden felt the need to prove his skill to me once more, he went straight bcs. But heres the kicker - OUT OF ONE STARPORT! Soon after his first bc was done, he disconnected, having never fired a single shot at either enemy.

Figuring I had lost, I loaded up all my hydras into 7-10 overlords and sent them to teals main for fun. Upon reaching there, I set them down under 3 dropships, a spot that would allow me to hit almost every building there as well as pick off the expensive transports. Luck was on my side that day, I later found that each ship was filled with M&M with stim. I destroyed the now meager defense and set to work on the buildings. Red was also going for a hydra drop, and sent them to help his partner. However because of building formation, his 30+ hydras had to confront my 20+ hydras one at a time. I killed them with one loss.

After destroying every last building there, no defeat message popped up. I knew that he didnt have an expansion before I attacked, so it was probably just scattered supply depots. My base was not idle during this, and had continued spawning hydralisks. I loaded up 12 overlords and sent them to Reds main. On the way there they encountered 6-8 mutes and 6-8 guards, with intentions on raiding my base no doubt. My overlords unloaded directly underneath them, and I was amazed to see that I only lost 10 hydras (guards don't do very well against units that start off in range). The 2 sunken colonies left were no match for the large remainder of my forces and the base soon fell.

Again, there was no defeat. Overlords were sent to every expansion to find the wayward buildings. They found reds new main at lower center and teals main rebuilt in his old spot. Scolding myself for not leaving something there, I sent a control group of full overlords to clean it up. The CC escaped, but all teal could do now was beat up the neutral buildings of robagedon with scvs.

The virtually unscathed hydras where reloaded and sent to reds main, succeeding in destroying it. No defeat message. These guys just won't die! Red now had another fully working expansion at center left, heavily defended.
I returned my forces to my main to get the help needed for taking it down, but half way there red dropped 8 overlords worth of hydras there! They took out most of my buildings before my standing forces put an end to them.

Now I go to my drones to rebuild, only to find that my main is mined out! I didnt have enough to expand. I was so busy playing hide and seek with these guys' bases that I had depleted my cash completely by building hydras nonstop! I offer my opponents an allied victory, but they tell me to finish them off. Drat! People with honor always show up when you don't want them to! So, I was forced to tell them my situation, and they were nice enough to AV.

Lessoned Learned

- Don't load dropships until the last second. If those m&m were there, this would be a very different report.

- Keep guardians out of range of the units they're attacking. Hydras rip up guards, IF THEY GET TO THEM.

- Pay attention to your money. If I expanded I could've just beat them.

- If you think you've won, don't let up. Thats probably why I didnt bother expanding until it was too late.

hope you enjoyed my BR, sorry no pics, maybe next time.
