Fresh off my whupping in that previous BR, I decide to try again!
My build is
8 pylon
10 gate
gate
pylon
gas
core
I scout with 12th probe going 12-3-6, so I find him in the
first place I look. Wall-in!
I made 1 zlot, then made goons in pairs and sent them to
his choke.
6 minutes into the game:
I have 1 zlot and 6 goons at containment with 2 goons on
the way. Goon range is researching and a templari tech is
the tree of choice.
However, at the same time, Deceiver has 4 marines, 6
vultures with mines and 2 tanks. These are coming out of
his choke and to my main. He doesn't have seige but mines
his natural and harrasses my goons. The goons are led in
just too far and a mine is set off, not killing the goons
but doing damage. Soon he moves out. I focus fire on the
vultures, killing all but 2 but I lose all my goons as we
spar back towards my choke.
8 minutes into the game:
Those 2 vultures plus the 4 marines and 2 tanks advance to
my choke. He has acquired seige mode, but I find no mines as my reinforcements arrive in the form of 4 more goons.
I focus fire on the tanks, killing both. However, all 4
goons die. To the remaining 4 marines and vultures.
12 minutes into the game:
A control group of seige tanks and and control group of
speedy vultures arrive and tear me apart.

After the game, we talked some.
1. He said his ladder high is 1704 in vanilla, 1574 in bw.
2 He mostly played people way above his skill level to
learn. I usually have trouble finding good opponents until
this weekend that is. :/
If this isnt a gosu tvp strat, what is? :)
