Both mine and Draino's command centers landed with a metallic thud. I went normal build, 7th scv rax, 8 supply, and 9 out searching. The little scv searched and searched and searched uncovering several empty and forlorn mineral patches. The scv traveled to the top left, then bottom left, then bottom right, then top right. While the scv is on his futile search, I build two bunkers at my choke and tech to vultures very quickly. I have four speed upgraded vultures and OH NO! I can't get out, the bunkers are blocking the choke!

Four marines pile out of bunker number one and kill bunker number two. I quickly direct the vultures to each mineral patch to lay the devious mines. I send two scvs down to bottom left and right and build two expansions with NO defense at all.

Meanwhile, my vultures finally find Draino right next to me! I send in a wraith to harrass his scvs. I kill a hapless and unprotected sci vessel before the wraith pilots kamikazes over a newly built turret and bunker. Ouch!

I see he has some ghosts and a ton of marines and one tank. I have four marines at this point in a bunker. I find an expansion at his natural and at top left. I expand for the third time at the top right. By now, I have added two nuclear silos to my bottom two expansions. Death march commences.

Let the nuking begin!

I quickly pick up two nukes at a blue light special and send my two ghosts into the upper left expansion. One goes to the left side, cloaked and starts the nuke. The other wanders over to the right side, uncloaked. Of course, the uncloaked one is tarred and feathered by 8 marines, while my other (nuking) ghost is left alone. BOOM! down comes the nuke killing scvs, a turret. Three wraiths come in to finish off the damaged supply depots.

Meanwhile, I have another ghost sauntering into Draino's natural. Another nuke goes off, taking out some ghosts, scvs, marines, and damages some buildings.

I got off one more nuke at his top left expansion and one more at his natural. Yep, that's four nukes total.

End game:

During the nuking fun, Draino drops on my main with 8 marines and four ghosts, give or take a few. Just out of site lay four freshly minted battle cruisers to take out the foolish marine force.

The four bcs cross the river accompanied by two sci vessels. Draino's ghosts lockdown the bcs and the marines come out of the bunker. I dmatrix my bcs and irradiate the defenseless marines. They scurry away, tail tucked firmly between legs. Another 5 bcs come over to help out and slowly yamato away the dreaded lock down enabled ghosts.

Draino send a gg and asks to share vision. I comply. Whooops! Draino never saw my two bottom expansions! Shame Shame Shame! Draino leaves the game.

Lessons Learned:

1. Recon. How many times we gotta tell ya?
2. If you have a million marines, maybe you should attack with em. Just a thought.
3. Scan before you drop a force into somebodies base!
4. Again, spider mines are key in map and resource control.

Quotes:

Draino "Damn, you expanded down there?"

Draino "Bad idea, those bcs. I have a million ghosts."

WarriorPrincess "If only you would've attacked...."
