It began one day when my 2 buddies Korang[AoD] (the leader of our clan, the Angels of Death) and a fellow clanmate KoRn[AoD] met in our clan channel. The two had been playing 1v1's vs each other recently, and i thought it was high time to attempt my very first BR. There isnt much more to say, so lets get right to it.
The chosen map was "Sherwood Forest". Both players chose to leave their race unknown. Korang[AoD] was born at 6, and found himself to be terran. KoRn[AoD] emerged as zerg, at 3. As the little worker dudes flew out of Korang's Command Center, he grabbed one real quick and made him build a supply depot. The next took a bold walk through the Forest and actually found KoRn on this rather large map (for 1v1's, that is...). Korang Built a Barraks and trained marines for an early to injure his opponent while getting a comsat station and began building a semi-circle wall around the core of his base. With his new factory, and after adding a machine shop, they built him a vulture.
Meanwhile.... - KoRn commanded his first overlord on a long journey over to the northern portion of the terrain, and created another hatchery with his 8th drone. The next drone to materialize journeyed north-westward, obviously tiring, and dissapointing.

Back at the colony, he morphed in drone after drone, along with an extractor and 10 lings in time for Korang's approach. An scv began building a bunker, and KoRn spott and killed it and the marines thanks to his Overlords on the outskirts of his creep.

Korang had built a tank, and 3 more marines, ready to defend his fort.
An academy expidiciously researching valuble technology and a few more supply depots to complete his defending wall.

An E-bay was built, and an armory at opposite sides, as the vultures and tanks charged out of his very busy factory.

KoRn was slowly setting up his defence, and moved it to his choke. His first hatchery was growing into a lair, and after his lurker research, he morphed 3 hydras to prepare for a drop.

Korang mined the bridge connecting the large land masses, drove a tank up onto the wall above the choke entrance to his base - surprisingly with no backup save a few mines on the ground at the choke.

As KoRn hovered his overlords above the patch of land on the south east corner of the map, An SCV was killed in the process of a search for an expansion by one ling that was sitting there idle.

Korang begins a starport. When he scanns again, he does not seem to notice that there are troops missing from KoRn's base, and everything is still fine. KoRn swoops in from behind and drops a load on Korang's SCV line including a hand full of lings, a couple hydras, and the main feature - 3 lurkers.

This drop was, in a word: pathetic.

Even though KoRn sent in a sacrifice scout overlord to see what he was going up against, still decided to drop even when Korang had 6 seiged tanks, and 6 or 7 marines walking around.

The drop was defended easily, and at this point, KoRn obviously changes his plan.

He creates a spire at his main and builds a hatchery at the 9 main.

Korang builds another starport, with the first adding on a tower. He builds a dropship, and it remains there idle for the rest of the game.
His vultures venture west and kill a few lings. The vultures also seem to sit there idle for a little while. Korang's focus must be elsewhere.

As Korang scanned and scanned KoRn's base, he kept track of the growing number of mutalisks. Despite the obvious path KoRn was taking, He built more marines and firebats. Much to my surprise, there isnt a medic to be seen.

By now, Korang should have noticed that KoRn was not aggresively active more the most part of the game. His Lair had morphed into a hive and his spire was now much, much greater.

There were many more hydras. Many more mutas. He was preparing for a drop supported by air. Or....an air strike supported by transported ground troops.

Korang was busy teching in his main, building a covert ops and a nuclear silo when KoRn arrived with his formidible force of 9 newly incarnated guardians, 6 overlords packed with deadly goodies.

As Korang continued to scan his base, he immediately noticed something........
Surprisingly, Korang managed to kill many guardians with a couple valkyries, goliaths and some infantry, but they fell to the overwhelming ground troops.

KoRn wants to keep the pressure on, so he sends all of his defending troops except for his lurkers to Korangs entrance. Only a few lings are lured in by the tank (on the cliff), and are not called back to retreat. Many are killed by spider mines, but the unsupported tank explodes.

The zerg are easily defended by tanks and stimmed marines, who also manage to kill the remaining few guardians.

Slowly, mutalisks are rallied from both ends of the map to the camp outside Korang's entrance. KoRn now has 6 mutas, 5 devourers, and about 8 or 9 guardians. The victory fleet.

thanks....pleez criticise
