(This one should work)My answer to that question is Yes, and it happened in this game. My opponent and I we're very well mannered even if trash talking is part of the game. I wish there we're more games like this one as it was a type of game in starcraft I liked playing.
Anyways I wanted one game of ladder last night to see if I could still win on ladder or if I would just lose. I'm not the greatest at it but I'm learning and improving. Unfortunately of this game I had no idea I could do a battle report on it and in the end it was a decent game that lasted almost a half hour. I was one of my alternate names pyth()n and my opponent was DRUNKBEAVER. He was a person who did not have any ladder losses or wins. I really wanted to bring my rating up into the 1100's and right now I think it is around 1075. One side note is I use some unusual fonts and I know how to install them but I'm not sure how to put them up for download. You may be downloading them anyway because they are in the picture and well you download the picture so maybe you also get the font. I'm not really sure. Well now for my first battlereport on battlereports.com and its too bad I don't have any images, but anyway I present to you.....

My favorite race is Zerg because they are easier to go aggressive with than Terran and if I just stay back all game, I'm sure to die. I do not like it much either when I have to play against someone the same race is me so if someone selects Zerg I might switch to Protoss. I don't do Terran as much on ladder because I'm not that great with them. (Next BR hopefully I'll do more than this one).
Well I select Zerg and my opponent DRUNKBEAVER went random. Well I decided to do a quick rush to see if I could do any damage. It usually isn't hard for me to get back up on my feet after a rush. So with me in the 9:00 position sends an overlord to check down at the 6:00 position to see if my enemy is there; nope, no enemy there. I send a drone out on about 6 to check the 12:00 position and I find nothing. I then know by process of elimination my enemy is at the 3:00 position. Well I scout over there with my drone while making a Spawning Pool on 8. I check out his base with my drone and I find hes....
Yes that is right, Terran. Since I'm not thinking he is an expert player, I'm relieved he is Terran. If they we're a good player, I may not be jumping for joy. Anyway I decided to send 6 Lings at him to see what he really has now (since I brought my drone back to base). He has 2 bunkers at his choke, but I run past and 2 of my Zerglings fall to their death. I have 4 lings that start hitting the Terran SCV's but marines pour out of the Terran Bunkers and Barracks shooting my 4 lings down. I ended up killing 3 SCV's and 2 Terran Marines. Oh well, theres always next time.
After getting gas and enough drones on minerals I know I need to expand. I expand to my natural of course and bring most my units down there. I have one spore and 3-4 sunkens at my main for a dropoff attack or cloaked attack. I didn't think he'd drop in my main base though so I wasn't too worried. As I finished my hatchery at my natural I was getting a Queens Nest and a Spire. I also was getting a Hive soon and pumping out Hydras and getting upgrades for them. Now that I had that going on I decided to go for what I love most......
Yes the good old Lurker Drop. Not sure how many people do it but it seems to work a lot. I decided to try it since I hadn't hindered my opponent DRUNKBEAVER too much yet. I take my slow overlord to the top right corner, but at least it already was close to his base when I selected it. I moved the lurkers up into it and just then the Speed Upgrade was done and I got to the top right corner in no time. I scout around and see an opening and I drop right into his mineral line. I take out a few SCV's, 4 maybe, and concentrate my fire on the comsat. It already casted once and they send reinforcements up there. I destroyed the comsat but they still we're able to kill my lurkers with the last scan it put up.
As I Pyth()n was doing that I also produced more hydras and some Mutas now. I made some guardians too in case they had a lot of seige and bunks around their choke. Well as I head up the tech tree I decide to drop again but this time with 4 lurkers instead of 2. I try to drop and I see Turrets and theirs only one small spot to drop now. I do that and I hear a seige tank...BOOM its firing on my lurkers. I will not give up so I take my lurkers and move towards the seige and burrow. I lose one in the process. Only problem is their is a rebuilt comsat and one missle turret. I kill a couple marines and damage the seige and then my lurkers die. My dropping days on his main for this game are over.
Well I pay attention to my bases now and build another hatchery between my Natural and Main and expand once more just outside of my natural. This is where I have most the units. Then I hear the usual 'Your base is being under attack' and I look and see Wraiths, 6 of them, hitting my sole Spore colony. I bring 2 Mutas and 6 hydras back to help out and start building more Spore Colonys. Once my units get their his Wraiths become Toast I can eat for tommorows breakfast and the threat is extinguished. Well I build 2 more spores and another sunken bringing my total to 3 Spores and 4 Sunkens at my main along with some hydras lying around.
I now attack with about 3 Guardians, 3 Mutas, and a few hydras on his main. I take out 2 Turrets and a good amount of marines. His 2 bunkers are destroyed too. I end up losing everything I sent over there but it cleared out some defense of his. It was a short battle where things were destroyed very quickly and then he destroyed my units quickly with his. Knowing around this time he has expanded I search the bottom part of the map. What do I find, an expansion at the 3:00 position. I take my 12 hydras and one overlord and destroy a few wraiths and destroy all his scvs there but 1 (which got away, and I feel bad I didn't destroy it) and lay waste to his expansion. I then bring my hydras back to my group at the expansion outside my natural I'm currently mobilizing forces at.
I now realize from last attack on his main he was starting to build an expansion at his natural but at the time I did not really care about it. Now I looked at it with an overlord and he had a few SCV's mining there. I did not take a screenshot but I'm going to show you on a minimap recreation where things stood right now. (I just opened a minimap on single player and did black sheep wall to show whole map, so no I did not hack).
The minimap shows Me at my main, natural, and one other expansion (in the blue) and my opponent DRUNK BEAVER in the red at his natural and main. The yellow is an expansion attempt by DRUNKBEAVER that was stopped by my hydralisks.
Now I had foiled his one expansion and was thinking of taking it for myself. I ended up putting a hatchery there but didn't do too much with it as the more important things we're currently happening in the game. Right outside where all my units where and as I was thinking about it, he beat me to the punch. Not like it mattered because he didn't hit much. His 3 Seige, 15 marines, and he may of had a couple wraiths, we're no match for my 4 guardians, 4 mutas, and big force of hydras (24 or so). He killed some of my units but not that many and I had reinforcements coming. I was thinking he probably used most of his units so I knew this was my chance to push on through. I take almost everything I can find (except drones) and attack his base. I wait outside of it though and bring my guardians in. I see 3 seige in seige mode and I kill them immediately.
The battle has just begun because I took out one Turret and one bunker with my guardians before they bring air and just as I decided to bring the Hydras and Mutas in with my 2 overlords behind for Wraith detection. Yes there are a few wraiths too as I dispose of them and run rampant through his base. I currently had 1 air upgrade, a hydralisk attack upgrade, and speed and range upgraded. He has a small handful of marines and firebats that are no match for the units I control. The hydras destroy everything in site as the guardians destroy the SCV's and the comsat station. My enemy said GG and I said that too because this really was a fun, clean game with no trash talking and just some regular Starcraft: Brood War playing. I really enjoyed playing this person and would gladly have a rematch if the user would have wanted to.
I ended up during the building killing sending half of my hydralisks to take out his natural command center I seemed to miss everytime I attacked. I thought he may of expanded one other place as I killed his last remaining building at his main and natural I see 'DRUNKBEAVER has been eliminated' as I was like ok and exited the game. Aftergame ::::: A lot of people do Lessons Learned and things like that so I decided I'm not going to do that. I decided to include a screenshot of 2 people that are really lamers and wouldn't give me the channel that I usually go to back.
I couldn't include the whole screenshot because well I cropped it and saved over it. Hopefully nobody else runs across these 2 lamers specifically whenever they are on battlenet. There are many more people like them as we all know.
Back to what I was thinking aftergame for a minute. I was thinking what would my ladder score be now?, well the person hadn't played a ladder game so I assume he would be 1000. Boy was I wrong when he gave me a regular win instead of ladder win. I was kind of mad as I wanted my rating to be closer to 1000. Anyways I hope you liked my battlereport even though it lacked actual images of the game. I also hope everyone can see the different fonts I used in my images as it enhances them more.
