I, feeling desparate, whispered to [Leopard], who was asking for a 1on1. He said he already had an opponent, so I asked to battlereport it. If you don’t know what his reply is, then take yourself and your stupidity away from my report. [Leopard] made the map on. . . . . .Lost Temple!! Big Surprise!!!! His opponent was ]{han[EO]. Both of these players are nohunters regulars, not very well known.
Let The Game Begin!!!!
Both players chose zerg after the usual pre-game chatter. As the game started, both players shared vision with me. Note:[Leopard] will be called Leo and ]{han[EO] will be called Han for my conveniance.Leo started in the 6:00 position and immediantly sent his overlord out scouting. Han started in the 12:00 position and also sent his overlord scouting. Both players, while pumping drones, went for early expansions to their naturals. Leo immediantly got about 5 zerglings and started on gas for early tech. Han got around 15 zerglings and seemed to be moving toward a mass hydralisk strategy. Leo expanded again to the 9:00 main, obviously going for map control. Han, during all of this time, was continuously massing hydralisks. One of Han’s scouting zerglings ran into Leo’s 9:00 expansion. The zergling immediantly started attacking one of three morphing sunkens. The zergling died as they morphed in. Han sent about 7 hydralisks and 10 zerglings to try to take over the 9:00 expansion, but failed to four sunkens and Leo’s own zerglings. Leo also slapped down a Spire once his Lair was finished.
Once Leo got his first 6 or 7 mutas he attacked Han’s main base’s flank. At this time, Han was using 12 hydralisks to travel and claim the 3:00 main. As the hydralisks were in route, the mutalisks attacked forcing Han to pull his hydralisks back and defend his defensless main.
Leo regrouped his mutas and built about 10 more. He also grouped his lings in the center. Han finally got that 3:00 main expansion. Han’s hatchery had just morphed in when Leo attacked with about 20 mutas. Han couldn’t hold off the attack and his main fell.
Han took his remaining hydraz (around 12) and launched a counter attack on Leo’s natural.
Han ripped through Leo’snatural but was stopped dead by Leo’s own hydraz and mutas. Leo took down Han’s remaining two expansions with minimal losses. Leo is our winner.
