Continued . . .

Suddenly, as I was flying my Carriers away from that same base once more, after having defended it from yet another 6-hydra assault, I accidentily rolled right over a large Zerg base . . . with a hydra den in the corner! YES!!

The mighty dreadnoughts had nothing to fear from the resident spores or defending hydras, of course, and I promptly blew apart the big, revolting overlords, smashing the defenders at roughly the same time and turning upon the buildings with renewed vehemence, first blasting the hydra den to bits with a diabolic laugh.

Attacking with style

Then I had an epipheny, and split my doom fleet, sending two carriers and an arbiter back to my last remaining base to defend. Now, I was able to use my remaining 9 carriers and arbiter with impunity, roaming around the map, smashing any new expansion attempts, gradually dwindling his resource stockpile and smiling as I crushed any new crackling assaults at my base ( all he could make were lings now ). I spotted his spawning pool at a smallish base, crushed it, then moved forward to the North east, where YOR had rebuilt his expo and was desperately adding in a hydra den, along with double spores. He also had about 6 hydralisks defending, not much against a well supported Carrier doom fleet. As I sacked this last attempt to rebuild, my enemy demanded me to ally and shared vision.

"Ally?" I asked, innocently. He once more ordered me to do so, proclaiming that it was a good game and that he'd almost killed me. Fuming, I led my Carrier armada straight to the first of his three small expansions ( one of which was in the process of morphing ), and showed him just what I thought of allying. He quickly unshared vision and cursed at me, yet I continued heedlessly, smashed another expo and rolling into formation above what I thought was his final, morphing base. Asking him whether it was, I initiated the interceptor attack sequence, and pounded the hatchery to rubble within seconds.

YOR has been eliminated.

My Grand Fleet

Just before he left, I flew my armada back to my base with shared vision in a grand, conceited victory procession, admitting it was a good game. I told him that he should be more of a man next time, that after good games you never ally ( unless you're me and want to get an extra win ). A loss is a loss. Besides, I'd just lost 3 games to necrosausage on Blood Bath, due to ^$*%#$*@ SCV peon rushes, and didnt want to hurt my record any more =D ( I owned him on the forth try, though ). Lesson in life: SCVs > Drones. By the way, I haven't lost a match with Protoss in the last two weeks after I got to mid-game. My skills with that race are certainly improving . . . .

In the final scores, I believe I had nearly exactly 200K, with him coming 10K below me at roughly 190,000. I thought I'd taken screenshots of the stats, yet apparantly my folder was full of others I'd done for the br to come after this one . . . full of glossy pics and gosu backgrounds ( unlike this )! Stay tuned!!

By the way, when the interceptors had fired their last shots and all was said and done, I was left with five, heavily damaged, burning buildings. Close one!

This had probably been the last |]agomar mostly-text production
