Game 1
My first battle report ever so maybe I may have included too
many screen shots.... enjoy :)
"B" bracket Round 1 played on "Lost
Temple"
Pylonhead - brown Protoss @ 3
oclock
Alcatwize - Teal Terran @ 6
oclock
vs
Drac - white Zerg 12 oclock
Parared - yellow Terran @ 9
oclock
Observers (alvaman & Rikus)
The game begins with:
-Parared blocking his choke with
barracks/bunker combo...
-Drac going for an early
expansion at his natural...
-Pylonhead going with 2 -Gates
early on...
-Alcatwize also blocks his choke
with a barracks/bunker/depot combo...

Drac's expansion is discovered
early on by one of PH's probes...

PH quickly sends a Zealot over to
introduce himself!

Alcatwize sends a Marine in to help...
With Drac expansion attempt
thwarted, PH and
Alcatwize continue into
Drac's main; also
Alcatwize
starts a barracks there.

When PH's reinforcements arrive,
they move in and try to do some damage...
Drac
confident he can hold, Parared tries
to send help.

With Parared's rescue attempt
stopped PH &
Alcatwize keep the pressure on Drac.
Parared
attempts to send some more m&m's for support, but to no
avail...
Pylonhead expands at his natural,
and adds another gateway get ready to crank out the goon squad.

While Alcatwize is sending 2
tanks up to Drac's main they are
intercepted by Parared.
Parared manages to get 1 while the other
tank escapes back home.

Retreat!!

The tank lives for another day...

Alcat would later send the tanks up to the front line via a
drop ship.
Then PH/Alcat prepare to storm
Drac's base. Also we have comments from
the peanut gallery...

Then they move in to Drac's
main...

Parared sends some tanks to help
out - but the writing is on the wall...

After taking out Drac's main
PH/
Alcatwize
move on to disperse Parared... Drac had managed to resurrect his natural
expand but was discovered...

Drac says it all....

Afterwards PH and
Alcatwize finish off game 1; I forgot to
grab some screen dumps after this point since the game was pretty
much over...

GG
The early hit on Drac's base
coupled with the continuous pressure pretty much decided the
game.
