I was thinking if I should do a battle report on this, because it was a short game, but I'm not going to let these guys down. If Mark4 can do a short action-packed battle report and pull off a 7, I might as well try. If I do pull off a 7 then I am at the same caliber as Mark4 right? The answer is no, there is plenty of favoritism here at battlereports.com, but I won't argue. Let the game begin.........
Map: The Lost Temple
TH-yare: Zerg 12 o clock
Testosterone: Terran 6 o clock
DarkDragin: Protoss 9 o clock
Poa-60WATZ-kid: Terran 3 o clock
An early look at.....
TH-yare
TH-yare starts off sending his overlord towards Poa-60WATZ-kid (I don't know why he uses this name now)'s base.TH-yare then gathers minerals until he has enough and starts up a hatchery near his ramp, when it finishes he morphs in a sunken colony. He also starts morphing in a lair.
Testosterone
Testosterone builds a supply depot first, then a barracks at his ramp, followed by a second barracks and a gas assimilator at around the same time. He starts pumping marines and builds supply depots.
DarkDragin
DarkDragin builds a pylon followed by double gateways. He makes zealots and then builds two more pylons, a forge, and a lot more zealots.
Poa-60WATZ-kid
Poa-60WATZ kid builds a supply depot at his ramp followed by three barracks, yes three barracks, and a gas assimilator somewhere in there. He pumps marines out of his three barracks.
Time for some action....
The team of DarkDragin and Poa-60WATZ-kid sets up the first attack of the game by sending a nice amount of zealots, few marines, and a somewhat large group of SCVs to the front of TH-yare's ramp. They are spotted by the other team and Testosterone sends a group of marines towards TH yare's main when Poa-60WATZ kid utters the word...
The SCVs and marines are slaughtered by the sunkens and zerglings, while DarkDragin zealots are distracted by Testosterone's marines. DarkDragin ends up sending his surviving zealots back home realizing he can't take on TH-yare's main and Testosterone's force by himself.
An individual update....
TH-yare
TH-yare suffered very minor damages from the attack. He has built a hydra den and is learning the lurker ability. He sends the zerglings he built for defense to the front of DarkDragin's main.
Testosterone
Testosterone has built an academy and now has medics to accompany his marines. He sends a group of marines and medics to the front of 's main where they meet up with TH-yare's zerglings. He then starts building a star port.
DarkDragin
DarkDragin now has a lot of zealots to defend him self and starts to warp in two cannons for the oncoming attack. He also has an assimilator and cybernetics core for dragoons.
Poa-60WATZ-kid
Poa-60WATZ kid has built an academy and is now pumping marines and medics out of his three barracks. He sends a group of marines and medics to help his partner.
The attack....
DarkDragin holds off the attack until his cannon warps in and Poa-60WATZ-kid's troops arrive. Yet another failed attack.
At this timeTH-yare has gotten lurkers and sends them along with some zerglings at Poa-60WATZ-kid's base. The lurkers walk right in and burrow. They massacre the SCVs, and attack the buildings until they lift off.
However Poa-60WATZ kid still has his troops and sends them to attack TH-yare's main where they meet up withDarkDragin's group of zealots and dragoons. The two groups attack at the same time.
The desperation attack fails. Poa-60WATZ-kid leaves the game in search of his father POA, and DarkDragin is left alone to fend for himself. While DarkDragin sent his force to attack TH-yare's main.Testosterone dropped a group of m&m
in DarkDragin's main, but DarkDragin's managed to get enough units to take care of these guys.
Realizing he can't win DarkDragin leaves the game after the players share the usual "gg"s. Therefore, the winners, TH-yare and Testosterone.
Yea it was a short game, but at least the load time wasn't that long, and it fulfilled your BR reading needs to a certain extent, if you’re like me and hate fan fics. Score me as you will raters, and spam my comments to your heart's desires you lowly non-raters. Late.
