"I guess this is the kind of stuff that most reporters generally gloss over in a single sentence, but I took a lot of screenshots of me blowing up random spaceships and I'm damned if I'm not going to use them." -|]agomar

Kron The Warrior: 7.5000 | | Small drops of sweat trickled down her face as she looked around, the marsh was hot and damp, and a cotton-like mist was hovering 3 feet off the ground, hiding the terrain from her sight. Lenya felt a chill crawl up her spine; in her years of study of sorcery she had learned to trust that chill…
She vanished; leaving behind her only a crackle of static electricity… just a moment before his blade had the chance to dig into her flesh… the Gidbin was shining in his hand… The Flayer champion sunk back in the mist… That witch would die for what she had done to his village, slaughtering everyone without mercy. But not him, he had the Gidbin, oh yes, the powerful blade he had stolen off Ormus years before that had made him a champion among his brethren, and now this magical blade would claim yet another life in the name of vengeance.
He ran with his small and agile legs, following the static electricity trail that he knew a teleportation spell would leave and there she was, on the edge of the cliff, trying to get a breath of fresh air from the ocean that was smashing against the huge rock boulders hundreds of feet below.
Lenya inhaled, slowly letting out the smell of the ocean, such a nice scent after the decay that permeated the Flayer village, a gentle breeze touched her soft skin, just what she needed. The spot she had chosen to rest was perfect, a small clearing with fresh air and no dark corners for monsters to hide in, only one escape route, but after all, they would be the ones escaping right? …She smiled to herself, where was the little bastard? She had seen the Gidbin in his hands, seen the sacred blade tainted by such a foul creature, and she was pretty sure that many sorceresses just like her had fallen to it. He was fast, very fast, and he probably was tracking her down even as she was allowing herself to rest. But she needed to recharge her mental abilities so badly…
He had to strike, his race was not known for its particular courage, but he would have to overcome his fear of magic and sink the Gidbin in her heart. Yes, she smelled good… she would make a fine meal for the survivors at the village… now was his best chance… He ran out in the open, the Gidbin shining in light of the clearing… he leaped towards the girl, ready to dig the blade deep in her fragile body, the rush of battle burning in his eyes…
