Introduction:
I didn't realize I'd make this BR till later in the night.
I have no pictures unfortunately, but I will do my best to describe the battles, so you can picture it in your head.
The Players
DRAG0ON (myself)- Orange Zerg (Random) - 3:00
Mr. X (forgot name) - Blue Toss (Random) - 9:00
The Set Up
I did a standard zerg build for temple:
8 Overlord
12 Hatchery at natural
14 Pool
16 Hatchery at Ramp
I had sent my first overlord to the 12:00 main, I found no life there, so I thought of sending my 2nd overlord to 6:00
after watching it take it's sweet time just to reach the edge of my cliff, I decide against it, and send a drone to
6:00 instead. After meeting up with a whole lot of nothing
at 6:00 I finally check 9:00. As I make my around the corner
to the ramp, I see a pylon has blocked my patch, so I have to go around it and then up. Where about 2 zealots are standing, I am able to slip past and send my drone to the
probe line, where I see an Assimilator, 2 gates, 2 pylons
and a bunch of drones. At this point I go back to check on
my base, where I now have 3 hatcheries, the natural is up and running, and I have sunkens on top and below the ramp. Though I spot to empty spots on top of the Vespene Geysers, and immediately start up to extractors. Being the arrogant chobu player I am, I think this game is in the bag. Zerg vs Toss on Temple!! Pishaaw how can I lose. Seems maybe I was right.
I had forgotten all about my drone in his base, and I flipped back to X's base, to see 2 zealots finish destroying my trusty drone. About this time, I send another drone out into the dangerous jungle, to start an expansion at the 12:00 main. I also send an overlord there incase of dt's. I begin a lair, and then slap down a queen's nest and upgrade to hive.I also put down to evo chambers, and start hydra and carapace upgrades. I had already stationed an overlord above 9:00's natural cliff, so I could keep track of any expansion attempts, but to my surprise he STILL had no expanded. I had 3 bases now to his 1, I figured I'd just starve him to death. Just then about 2 control groups of zealots and Dragoons come down the 9:00 ramp and station themselves at the natural. From what I could see an assimilator was also forming on the geyser there. I figured "no biggy" I still out resource him, so I expand to the 12:00 natural. While pumping drones out of the just finished 12:00 main. I build a nydus canal, and link my main to the 12:00 base. Soon a shuttle comes over to my 3:00 natural cliff, and drops 2 dragoons off, which start attacking my drones. I begin building 2 sunkens and fly an overlrod over to the cliff. After a couple minutes of dancing, 1 dragoon dies and the other retreats to further back, put of cannon range.
I realize since he has shuttle capability, and only 1 visible base to me, he probably has an island or two. I send out 2 speed upgraded overlords to find out. The top island was clear, but I come upon a freshly warping in Nexus at the bottom-right expansion. Soon after I drop off 8 cracklings to dispense of the naked expansion. I check my Upgrades and I am now 2-hydralisk attack, and 2-carapace.
Uh Oh
About this time 1+1/2 control groups of zealots come storming up to my 12:00 natural, which is lightly defended
It falls quick to their boost up speed, and soon after they come charging up my ramp to the 12:00 main. I have about 6 hydras and 24 cracklings defending, with 3 sunkens. To my surprise they are all shredded up, with the lose of maybe 8 zealots. I load up all my drones into nearby overlords and run them back to my main.I also make 9 lurkers, and plase them at my choke at 3:00. My overlord on the 9:00 cliff, spots a nexus at the 9:00 mineral natural. Hrm 3 Protoss bases to my now 2 Zerg bases. I immediately send out the overlords to build hatcheries on the 2 islands.
Lets Kick Some Aiur Ass
My overlord at 9:00 spots some reavers and templars. I figure to myself "hrm we'll see about that". I build a spire, and then upgrade it to Greater. I also upgrade broodling in my queens nest and build 3 queens. Then My overlord at 9:00 sees all of X's troops move out. I figure it's do or die time. My 2 island bases are just coming in, and I build canals back to my base. Suddenly storms ravage my entrance, 2 Lurkers go down ( Hrm I thought I had spaced them out enough..ah well) I send in a queen and broodling the templar. My queen immediately begins getting attacked by nearby dragoons and runs back into my base. Suddenly another storm comes forth, and another 2 lurkers fall. (Hrm this isnt good) about this time I have 3 mutualisks, and I turn them into guardians. I send an overlord to my cliff and to my surprise see that an observer has been sitting at my choke, allowed X to see the placement of my lurkers. Now 4 reavers start crawling their big slug bodies in my base, knocking down everything. I send in my guardians which kill 3 of the slugs, but then dragoons and zealots rush into my base. I send everything I have at him, cracklings, hydras you name it....but alas all are shot down. I click on a zealot of his and see that it is 3-2-3. I click on my zergling and see its 0-2, whily my hydralisks are 2-2. Awww shit I think to myself, as he ravages my base. I send my remaining drones through the nydus canals to my island bases.
Help Me!
3 carriers and some corsairs begin to attack my top left island, and it soon falls. I am now left with 3 queens at my bottom island,a couple drones, 2-3 sunkens, 6 zerglings, and 2 spore colonies. 3 drop ships arrive with 6 dragoons, I spawn 3 of of them and my zerglings kill the rest. Alas, the carriers and corsairs came and it was soon over.
...Hrm, but I thought I kicked The Protoss' Ass? I mean the title says so, well I got the last laugh, by doing a 6 drone drop on his undefended main, killing a pylon.
Gooooo Drones!
Lessons Learned:
*Upgrades should never be wasted, I had upgraded Hydra attack on the basis I'd be using plenty of them, but with all the producing of drones for the expansions, my money was short, and mostly made cracklings, which I had NOT been upgrading.
* Fully upgraded zealots hurt =(
*Reavers and tempalrs vs zerg together are hella painful
*Upgrade Upgrade Upgrade
*Be more offensive, I had been too passive that game, I did not attack him at all, expecting to just starve him to death. That was my biggest mistake, I had 3 bases to his 1, I should have sent wave after wave at him.

This is my first real BR, so please mark it based on content. Yes I didn't have pictures but I hope that wont set me back too far.
