WARNING: This BR contains a RIDICULOUS amount of MBs of information. The mp3 you're now downloading is extremely cool and will add to the BR, but if you want to cancel it go ahead =/. You'll probably want to go do something (or go somewhere) while you're waiting for this to load.
Before I begin the report, I would like to tell you the story of Fox^1's life:
One day, Fox's wife decides to go out for the night with some friends. Since he's as sneaky as his name, Fox decides to get on the computer to play some SC while she's gone so she won't get pissed at him like she usually does.
On the way there, Fox's wife's car breaks down and she is forced to come home early. When she walks in the door, Fox quickly shuts the computer screen off and gets out of the computer chair, trying to cover up the evidence to no avail.
"What were you just doing?" Fox's wife says.
"Well..I can't hide it any longer, I was looking at pornography and talking to the girl I'm cheating with," Fox replies.
"You lying sack of shit. You were playing StarCraft again weren't you?!"
Now that that's over with...
The font in the BR is dedicated to my home state, you figure it out =]. I have been straining to come up with a decent idea for a weird type of game to BR; finally, during a game that was supposed to be a big BRed FFA, I remembered something I read and the broad rules of it (thanks to POA for refreshing my memory with the details).
I'm told what I was remembering was called Circle of Friends, and I also understand that some other HOFer has done a BR of this same kind of game but I don't know which one; if I did know I'd give you all a link, feel free to post a link to it in my comments section, though. Anyway..
If you don't know the rules of Circle of Friends here they are: This particular map is in a perfect circle. Every player in the game allies with the person next to them in the circle (after I tell them who they're next to).
Example: POA is allied with the person on his left and right, but the person on his left is NOT allied with the person on POA's right, etc.
You MUST keep the ally button on the entire time, so if one of your allies decides to attack your other ally, there's nothing you can do for them and have to watch them die more or less =[
Okay then, now that you understand (hopefully), I'll get to the actual report. And the starts of this report are:

[rD]Powe)2 : He starts at the 10 o'lock position as you can see in the picture above and is Terran. He has [SLF]Harlequin (Harl from now on) directly below him, making him an ally. Also, 4 spaces to his right sits Protector who is Terran and is also an ally.
[SLF]Harlequin : He starts at the 9 o'clock position as Protoss. Directly above him sits Power and directly under him sits SlingsNArrows who is Terran. That makes them both his allies.
SlingsNArrows : He starts at the 7 o'clock position as Terran (we all know how gosu Slings' Terran is =). His ally to the north is Harl and his ally to the east is Hoss_the_Newt who is Protoss.
Hoss_The_Newt : He starts at 6 o'clock as Protoss. To his left is good ol' Slings and to his right is the most gosu man on Earth, Protector. Hoss seems to have it good since he has each race on his team allowing for a wide variety of combat units.
..(Protector).. : He starts at the 4 o'clock position as Terran. To his immedite left is Hoss and four spaces up around the circle to his right is the Terran, Power.
I'm gonna just skip the build orders because they're kind of insignificant in this big of a game.
It is important to know that after building a few initial buildings, Power sends an SCV to the 12 o'clock position and expands there.
The first actual action of the game occurs when Hoss sends his medium sized (about 8) group of zealots out to attack Harl. Slings highly objects to this due to the fact that Harl is his other ally. There was nothing he could do about it, however, since he had to stay allied and couldn't attack his units, not even a warning shot =[.
Hoss's zealots fight hard after meeting Harl's zealots that were exiting his base. After a long fight, Harl's lots come out on top and proceed to sit there for a little while.
Soon after, Power and Harl decide to react to the attack, and choose to counter Hoss, who is Protector's ally.
Power sends a group of 12 or a little more marines down to group up outside Hoss's main base, along with Harl's now rebuilt zealot army.
Protector sends a tank and a few vultures equipped with mines over to help his partner defend the attack.

Note: Power is Protector's ally, so they won't be able to attack eachother during the battle. The defending of Power's forces will be left up to Hoss, so micro is critical.
When both of their armies are grouped together, Power and Harl send their army in; they run right into Protector's tanks who rain fire against Harl's zealots, while Hoss is able to attack them both freely.
The defending forces turn out to be too much for Harl and Power, and soon after, their army is totally destroyed.
Since Protector feels confident that no one is going to attack him or his allies at this point, he sends an SCV up and expands directly above his main base at the 3 o'clock main.
All other players feel confident about not being attacked as well, and most of them begin to tech. Power builds a factory in hopes of being able to tech to wraiths with his 2 bases.
One person that has not been teching is Hoss; apparently bent out of shape from the last attack, he builds up a force of 12-14 zealots to seek revenge.
Protector has also agreed to help him, but under the conditions that Hoss forms a wall of zealots making his ally, Slings, unable to attack Protector as he moves by his base; he agrees.
After Protector and Hoss get by Slings's base, they move in to attack Harl.
Protector sieges his tanks about in line with the walls of the enemy base, while they move their vultures and zealots in to act as the infantry with the heavy guns behind them. Since Harl only has a few goons and zealots when the attack arrives, most of the Terran/Toss team's losses come from their own siege tanks.

The attack goes smoothly for a while, until Slings moves out of his base to go help his partner. Keep in mind that he is allied with Hoss and won't be able to attack the zealots; he can, however, take out Protector's tanks, vultures, and marines. Slings sieges a tank around the corner of the cliff, but in range of the enemy Terrans. He moves his vultures out to attack the marines head on and every once in a while lures them back to take more fire from the tank. Eventually, this tactic works and Slings is able to destroy all of Protector's forces.
Harl is busy microing his probes, zealots and dragoons as well and is able to drive Hoss's attacking zeals out of his base after losing a few pylons and probes.
While this is all happening, Slings builds a CC and floats it over to the middle island, which is a total freakshow; it consists of about 40 mineral patches all grouped up in a big bunch and surrounded by gas. A little while after (after the battles) Protector takes a second expansion, and this time takes the 2 o'clock starting location, directly above his last expansion.
Hoss also sends a probe down to the 6 o'clock expansion directly under his base and builds a Nexus, followed by a pylon.
Back over to the attackee's base, Harl is now assumingly teching to reavers as he builds a robo bay above his main mineral patch.
Getting too boring for you now, I can sense it. I'll skip to the action again!
Protector and Power decide to team up against Slings who is, unfortunately for him, wedged directly between them. It also raises a controversy because Slings is allied with one of each of their allies.

The Terrans (cool huh?) arrive and set up their classic Terran style attack. Slings is very outnumbered and overpowered during this battle; but fortunately, his positioning is very good. About 10 mines are spread out across the front of his choke point and 3 tanks are placed between buildings within range of the spider mines.
Protector sieges some tanks out of range of the enemy siege tanks, and then sends in his marines and vultures. Power does the same with his vultures but they are quickly destroyed by the well-positioned siege tanks.
Soon after, with the battle still raging on, Hoss (Protector's ally) arrives with 12 goons and easily destroys Power's vultures and tanks but is unable to attack his ally, Protector.
Protector's army (other than tanks) is completely wiped out by Slings' siege tanks. Just to be annoying, though, Protector leaves 2 siege tanks that just sit there and fire on the buildings, out of range of Slings' army.
After this conflict, Power expands to the 11 o'clock spot directly above his main and techs to wraiths under Protector's orders. No one else's strategy changes, really. They all continue to mass produce normal units for each race.
You can easily see the territory that each player has to your left. You'll notice that Harl is the only one without an expansion, probably because he was attacked and kept sealed in through the game =/.
Slings' expansion in the middle is beginning to pick up; he builds gas, a starport, and a factory as he collects from the 41 patches there, hehe.
Finally, Slings moves his tanks forward, sieging them and destroying Protector's 2 siege tanks he left there.
Now, Slings feels safe apparently, and he builds a CC at his middle island, which he later floats over to the left part of the island to collect from that side of the monster.
Finally something exciting happens, and I mean exciting. These battles are the weirdest thing on Earth to watch. You see one side of the battle with wraiths attacking half of the attacking forces but they won't be able to fire at the other half, etc. Very odd. Anyway...
After a long time of waiting and building up, the silence is finally broken when Power sends his now fairly large fleet of wraiths to the middle and attacks Slings' new expansion. It's fairly unguarded and is easily run over by the wraiths.
After this, or sort of during, Hoss sends his army of goons and zealots to attack Harl (poor Harl). Protector sends a few tanks as well but most of them are destroyed by Slings' tanks on his cliff on the way. When the dragoons and zealots arrive, Harl has a few zealots and goons himself, but nothing compared to the attackers. Slings has a tank helping him defend his base as well, but unfortunately can't attack Hoss because they're allies.
Harl realizes he won't be able to defend and calls Power (he's also allied to Protector) in to help him. The cloaked wraiths arrive and start to attack Hoss' goons, who don't have an observer or any kind of detection handy. I'm not sure who scanned, but either Slings or Protector did. Power was able to micro the wraiths by pulling them in and out of the battle area and eventually kill most of the goons and defend Harl from the attack.

Keep in mind that Protector hasn't really been attacking much and has built his army up. He also expands to a little spot in the bottom-right of the map but doesn't defend it.
Power leaves his wraiths on the cliff next to Harl's base and waits for another attack.
A little while later Slings decides to get gay and drops a few siege tanks, goliaths, and SCVs up on top of his cliff (which is also Hoss' cliff). He builds a few turrets, sieges the tanks and starts to rain tank fire down on Hoss' buildings. (Keep in mind that Slings is allied with Hoss). This pisses Hoss off extremely; he can't really do anything about it either, so Protector decides to jump in and help his ally.
Protector groups his army (tanks, goliaths, infantry) up and sends them over to the front of Slings' base. When he's a little more than halfway there, Slings' 3 or 4 tanks start to attack the Terrans with no return fire because of the high ground advantage. After realizing he's being attacked, Protector sieges the tanks and scans the top of the cliff. After a few scans, Slings has nothing left on the high ground; no combat units anyway.
On a side note, as you can see in the picture, Hoss has expanded to a lower left base and Harl has finally expanded and takes the 10 o'clock spot.
Also, Power drops 2 tanks on the common cliff and sieges them behind Hoss' probes, which start to explode a few at a time.
After destroying Slings' army, Protector unsieges his tanks and moves them up to Slings' main base. He sieges a few tanks behind the cliff and then moves the rest of his army in to attack head on.
Protector easily destroys the undefended main, leaving Slings only with his middle island.
I'm not sure what Power's intention of doing this was, but he sent his army of tanks, vultures, and wraiths down to take out one of Hoss's extremely newly made expansions (wasn't even worth mentioning).
After seeing that Power troops have moved by, Protector and Hoss send their armies in a new attempt to destroy Harl's main.
Since there is practically nothing in the way of these two armies, they fairly easily run over Harl's main, leaving him with only his 10 o'clock expansion that hasn't been detected..yet.

Back down at the bottom of the map where Power army of wraiths, tanks, and vuls is located... He has successfully taken out one of Hoss' expansions, and now he moves on to the other one, located at 6. This expansions is very 'urbanized' and houses a observer production facility (robo bay and observatory) and a lot of gateways.
Hoss runs a lot of zealots and dragoons down to try to defend the expansion but they're no match for a million tanks and a lot of wraiths. Soon, the expansion is lying in ruins =[.
Over to the 10 o'clock area of the map, a few yards away from where Harl's main just fell, Protector and Hoss' armies finally find Harl's last base. They found it just in time as well, because Harl had 3 stargates there that was now producing carriers. The base was leveled before the carriers could complete and Harl was forced to become an observer.
Now, what happened to good ol' Slings? He's been busying turtling and shooting up the tech tree to wraiths, tanks, and D ships. He also builds a CC and floats it to the 12 o'clock spot of the middle island and starts gathering more minerals there.
The next battle occurs when Power's army continues to move around the map, destroying Hoss. He moves the tanks and wraiths up to Hoss' main and final base, which is sparsely defended by the last few goons and zeals that Hoss can manage to build. Slings is also attacking Hoss; he has sieged a few tanks behind the base and continues to destroy building after building (keep in mind that they were allies to start the game). Hoss gets extremely frustrated with his situation, soon, and concedes the game, becoming an observer. This makes the last threat to the Protector/Power empire Slings.

Unfortunately, they'll have a tough time getting to Slings because neither of them have dropping ability; not to mention Protector is maxed out on supply (which is when he makes that macro comment up there). So...
Protector is forced to kill a bunch of his own guys and builds a few dropships. Power does the same, and they begin to form their final plan. Protector loads his army (mostly tanks) and drops it on the cliff overlooking the middle island; Power drops his troops on the North part of the island, which is soon destroyed.
After Protector's siege tanks (on the south side) do enough damage, he reloads more troops and drops them on the main level on the south part of Slings' island.
You'd think that Slings would have teched to BCs by this time, but he was just playing around I suppose and just built wraiths and goliaths, which weren't enough to stop the two Terrans. But you know Slings, he won't concede and forces them to completely eliminate him before the game is over. (not to mention it was like 3 in the morning, for me anyway).

The Winners: Protector & Power |
Well, I hope you enjoyed this report; you better have I worked damn hard on it!!(&*&(^*&^)(*&(*&& Anyway, I won't do any lessons learned because that's getting a little old, instead I'll just let you see the only reason anyone reads my reports:
