Lifetime Rating for Silent~Death: 5.6957 |  | Damn this is getting annoying... uhh Hello and welcome to yet another Silent~Death report where you people can yet again complain and comment about how crappy or how good my reports are getting... oh well since not a lot of people actually are in Clan ~Nohunters these days I decided to go to Battle.net channel Opponents Wanted... I think thats what its called since I don't go there often.
Well I found a guy named ||E)(U$ in there and asked him if he wanted to 1v1 me. He said sure I got nothing else to do. I told him to join death6/6. Once he joined the game was on.
Vital Statistics
Silent~Death chosen Terran received 6 o'clock
||E)(U$ random Protoss received 3 o'clock
I started the game like everybody else does. They mine minerals and so I did too but someday Im gonna kill somebody without mining minerals. I built my barracks at 8/10 and my supply depot at 10/10. After my barracks was done I sent it out to scout. I scouted 9 o'clock, and than 12 o'clock but to no avail and finally I scouted 3 o'clock and found a 7 zealots waiting for me. I got another supply depot right after my first one was done and than I thought I have enough depots, Zealots won't be able to get through. I got gas after my second depot and than a Factory soon after. I wasn't sure if my defense could handle the zealots so what did I do? I added a bunker. My factory finished and I added a machine shop to it than another bunker overlooking the cliff.
I queued two tanks and than he attacked me with 12 zealots once my first tank was halfway done. He WENT THROUGH MY WALLIN!!!
Im thinking O shit Im done for but then something miraculous happened. The bunkers open fired on the zealots and they were caught between 2 bunkers. They didn't know what to do and they just kept moving back and forth back and forth and delayed me enough so that once my tank came out there were only 6 zealots left. Easily enough for me that my bunkers and tank easily took it out. I brought my tank to the cliff and sieged it right in time for another 12 zealot attack.
Needless to say the same thing happened again and the zealots died. I finally decided to finish that wallin by putting in another depot. I finished the wallin and got a starport and another factory. Still at this point I wasn't exactly sure of what I should do. I built a Science Fac, Academy, E-bay and Armory. And I still had no idea of what to do. Than he attacks me again with speed zealots and DT and I just managed to finish my turret to see the DT blasted back to Shakuras... or Aiur?? I had no more problems destroying the Zeals since they just kept wandering around. Than almost right after a dragoon attack comes. I add Comsat to my CC and I notice my minerals are almost out. I built a 2 CCs to float to my natural and the island. I built SCVs at the island while maynarding about 8 to the natural. Than the teching starts.
The teching period doesn't last long as he decides to attack me yet again with dragoons, zealots and what looks like a DA?! I built a Science Vessel and upgraded EMP and started to upgrade Infantry weapon and Vehicle weapon. The DA mind controlled a SCV and all my SCVs instantly turned on the traitor. But just as the traitorious SCV dies the dragoons focus fire on my other SCVs and they die and my CC is on fire. My tanks manage to kill the last goon and turns it into goon soup. My CC is just saved from total destruction. I start to produce SCVs again and finally I decided to mass Marines and Medics and so added 5 more barracks to my original 1 and started to mass marines and medics while yet upgrading and managing my base.
He than attacked me with some Zealots and Dragoons and a Templar. I killed those with the help of my tanks on my cliff and than retaliated with what was left of my marines and meds which was like 8 marines and 4 meds and managed to kill a cannon YIPPEE A CANNON!!! I notice my 6 barracks have stopped training so I queued up 5 marines each in 4 barracks and 5 medics in the other 2 barracks. He then finally launched the biggest attack of the whole game and he used corsairs. He killed my SV before it could EMP the Protoss shields and some very good Distruption web was cast and he stormed the marines under the Damn Web.
He didn't lay any more webs on my bunkers or tanks so I fend off that battle easily... but whats this?? a DT drop? my comsat is gone. so are my depots, my factory and starport?! Damn it Damn it Damn it it was a diversion and a good one at that too.
Without Tech or anything else that I could produce in I was doomed but I tried to rebuild and all at my expo which was easily taken down by mass zealots and I was just overrun.
I said GG and left and than I asked him back in the channel what his build order was and he said:pylon, gateway, gateway, gateway, pylon, pylon, gas, gateway, pylon and I was thinking Holy Shit no wonder he practically attacked me with 24 zealots early in the game.
Lessons that must be learned by me
- Don't slack off when doing a wall-in
- BRing is hard
- I figured out how to use arial text(hopefully)by using < Arial >
- I got more than 5 images (hopefully)
