Lifetime Rating for Mantra: 7.0000 |  | I don't usually go on NoHunters, but was bored this morning so I decided to get a game. Got a 1on1 with falarn. I picked the map desolation randomly.
I got zerg, started in bl, he got toss and started tr.
I did a double hatchery before the spawning pool, placing the second hatch at a nearby expansion site. I quickly got a pool afterwards, put a sunken at my main and expansion, and got a few lings. Just in time, for 2 zealots came marching into my expansion. I had to make 2 more sunkens to fend them off.
Immediatly after i killed the lots, i noticed cannons at the edge of my main. (doh). Thinking he had just started them, i sent in a dozen lings. Unfortunatly, 2 had already been completed. I responded by making sunkens as close as possible, which saved my main from demolation.
However, the cannons prevented me from mining gas, so i was forced to mine from my expansion.
Extremely worried about my hopes for winning, i got more sunkens and both bases and created a third hatchery. I got a fair amount of lings. Falarn sent an attack of a few goons and lots of lots to my expansion, and with 3 sunkesn and lots of lings i was barely able to fend it off. I upgraded to lair and got a spire going at this point. I also made a den. I got about a dozen hydras and tried to attack an expansion i noticed he had started at middle top.
He had alot of goons, and i retreated. I researched lurkers, and got three of them. My spire finished, and i created 7 mutas. I sent the 3 lurkers past his goons and burrowed them behind his expanhsions minerals. Although only 2 survived, i took out his probes and his nexus. I then went into mass muta production, and began expanding like mad. I attempted to kill his main, but it was well built and I couldn't get in. (I killed his cannons by my mains with lings by this time also)
I found another expansion below his main, and sent in a bunch of lings to kill it. He had dts there, and my lings died.
Meanwhile, i had made 3 more expansions, gotten a hive and a greater spire, and made a few guardians that i was harrasing him with. I noticed he had expanded to center but was unable to take it out at the time.
I finished his expansion below his main and basically took over every spot on the map. I got large ammounts of devourers/guardaisn, and loaded up 6 overlrods of lings. I attacked his island expansion and, despite lots of temps, killed it.
By that time, the game was pretty much over. It lasted about 40 minutes.
