This fight happened two months ago at 3:24 am April 16, i think...
Map: LT
Players: Lisa and some "other guy"
Reasons for the fight: I liked the map and he hated it, so i wanted to protect the maps reputation.

Results of nobody watching: This can't be proven to be true.
I randomed and ended up with the all mighty gods of psy energy, my deadly enemy chose the humans.
First part of game:
I started by a pylon on 8 probe and a gateway on 9 probe. I then made a gateway on the 11 probe and scouted with the probe after having it opening the gate. I had to wait a big 2 minutes before finding the opponent, i had ended up with the 12 o'clock starting location and he had gotten the 3 o'clock position. After seeing his gas and 1 barrack and an academy, i got scared because i had gone mass zealots. I started quicly teleporting a forge to get some cannon defense, versus a firebat attack. After it being warped i proceded to build several photons.
Middle game:
I then proceded to my natural expansion only to be stopped by a tank and a bunker on my cliff. I decided i should go north west instead. I started building a cybernetic core followed by a robotics facility. While it was warping a few wraiths got around my photons and started attacking my robotics facility! I then sent two dragoons to kill the uncloaked wraiths and started reinforcing my nexus and critical buildings with some photons. I then really got scared because i knew he had stopped me from expanding. I then sent a zealot out of my base to see if i could sneak a probe by ground only to find a well new fortified chock consisted of 10 tanks and 3 bunkers. Money was starting to fade in main... I hadn't been out of money for a while. Cause i usually get my expansions going on without much trouble. I then proceded to make a new robotic to get some needed shuttles so i could get out of the base. Without the "excess" of money that i usually have i was in great trouble, not just in ressources but in psychological trouble also! Because i'm used to using macro which wasn't possible because of his constant containment.
Late game:
I now decided to look at the different possibilites that i had which were to my knowledge:- Getting a ground expansion or an island expansion if not already occupied, by the use of a shuttle.
-Ask him to allie and lie that it's because i have to go the dentist.
I came up with those two! Not bad, eh? But... the first possibility was unfortunalety hopeless because he had good recon and every expansion i tried from there got quickly destroyed. I then decided to give up, but it wouldn't have changed anything if had stayed because he was coming with 6 bc's to my main... Which had now only 3 photons and 4 drags has a defense versus air.
Lessons learned:
-Expanding is the best way to win...
-Don't let yourself contain by a terran.
-Use the imbalance and contain him before!
-Don't go mass zealots.
-Always make a comment when reading a BR, all the girls love guys who write. :) |
