Welcome, this is my second BR I have ever made, I messed up alot on the first one. Any way I bring you,
How Zerg Out-Macro's a Toss(ALOT!!!)
The players of today's game are:
ThanatoZ(Brown Random Zerg,Top Right)
and his opponent
LosingisFun(White Random Protoss, Bottom Left)
The Map: Mayhem
With that said, on with the game.
Early Game
ThanatoZ decides to do go for an early expansion going 9 hatch, 11 spawning pool, and a third hatch at his expansion. While, his opponent LosingisFun goes for a hard zealot rush going 8 pylon, 10 gate, pylon, 2nd and 3rd gate.
Let the Games Begin!
LosingisFun is the first to draw some blood, as he send down a medium sized force of zealots towards ThanatoZ's expansion. Because of the long trek, however, ThanatoZ was able to build himself a decent defense, and holds off the attack with some micro. Thinking that his opponent was weak, ThanatoZ sent down a small group of zerglings to LosingisFun's main. Only to be dealt with with a greater amount of zealots from LosingisFun. As soon as the last zergling died, LosingisFun quickly sent down a big force of zealots down to ThanatoZ's expansion. What resulted was a massive battle between zerglings, sunkens, and drones against about 11 zealots.With the forces out of the way, ThanatoZ begins to rebuild his defense at his expansion.
Let's take a break=]
After trying to eliminate each other early in the game, our players now decide to take a break from all the fighting to expand and tech. ThanatoZ adds a hydra den and starts a Lair in his main, while adding a 4th hatchery in his expansion, and a 5th hatchery to start a new expansion. Meanwhile back at LosingisFun's main, he has begun his own tech too, building himself a Cybercore, then adding a Citadel of Adun to speed upgrade his zealots. During all this, LosingisFun was trying to break through ThanatoZ's defense at his expansion with some zealots(which failed miserably). After trying a terrible attempt to break through ThanatoZ's expansion numerous times, LosingisFun finally stopped harrassing the expansion and upgrades his zealot's attack and speed upgrades.
Momma said knock you out!
The great silence of powering was broken again when LosingisFun sent down a huge force to take out ThanatoZ. As I continued to watch, I saw that ThanatoZ has burrowed all his units(except drones) in the expansion. So when LosingisFun ran a zealot in to scout, all it saw was nothing but hatcheries, when it got to the main, only a Lair and some spore colonies. Seeing no sign of any defenders, LosingisFun quickly tried to run his massive force of zealots and dragoons through the bridge and into the expansion. But, just before the attack hit, ThanatoZ unburrowed all his hydras and zerglings he had been massing. The resulted was a huge battle between hydralisks, zergling, and dragoons and zealots. But, because dragoons are so freakin' fat, some of the units got stuck on the bridge and the hydras were able to get some free hits on them. During the attack, LosingisFun finally made himself an expansion and techs up to templar while adding a fifth gate in his main.
Time for some revenge!
Indeed it was, as ThanatoZ sent down pretty much all he had to LosingisFun's expansion. Just before he sent the attack, he said that he had too much money, in which he spent on about 4 more hatcheries(spreading them out in his expansion and to make expansions). The massive zerg force then went head-to-head with the semi-massive protoss army. Then, there was a crackle in the sky. There it was again! I saw it!! There was a psionic storm coming up over the zerg horde. Blood splashed, zealots disappeared in a gust of blue spoke, and goon soup laid around on the ground, but somehow LosingisFun was able to hold off the attack… for now.
The End is Near... Or is it?
I look over at ThanatoZ's expansion to see that he already had rebuilt a big force of zerglings waiting to seek revenge on the protoss warriors. LosingisFun was not idle at all though, he had now regrouped his forces and started a second expansion at 9 o’clock. As soon as he regrouped, LosingisFun sent out an all-out attack on ThanatoZ's expansion yet again. This time, he has the aide of Templar, but will it be enough? As LosingisFun sends his force in, they all get stuck on the bridge again! Man this guy needs some luck or something. Anyway, the attack was going alright until hordes of zerglings appear on the scene. They quickly dispatch the dragoons and zealots, but before they can finish off the troops, LosingisFun retreats his army back to safety. But, the zerglings don't stop. Then I saw where their target was, LosingisFun's 9 O'clock expansion! This was his last source for income, which was about to be brought down by a group of zerglings. However, LosingisFun saw this coming and quickly dispatched the zerglings with ease with some speedy zealots. But, that wasn't the end of it, there were already masses and masses of ThanatoZ's hydras and zerglings coming at a time. But, LosingisFun is not able to recover this time, as the horde of zerg units were now coming in right and left, storms were let out, but more and more hydras poured into the scene.
In the end, LosingisFun ends up losing the 9 o'clock expansion. Thus, he leaves the game without even saying a word. So the winner of the match,
