The Game

I start out with the idea of wraiths on my mind, so I opt for a depot, rax, gas, depot, factory build. When the factory is half-way done, I start on an academy and then begin saving for my first two starports.

Sec has been working on a 3 hatch hydra drop and had his 2 lairs and hydra den morphing when I checked his base. His ovie discovered TheTerranGuy at the bottom left spot and was on it's way to the top left.

At home, I had a comstat and my two starports finished with a third one being constructed. I also began constructing a cc to expand to the spot between me and Sec while making my first wraith and a controll tower. By the time I have 5 wraiths, the cc is finished and I float it to the exp.

I sent my five finished wraiths to gaurd the exp while it is being brought online. After I have about 7 SCV's mining minerals and 3 mining gas, my exp is dropped by TheTerranGuy. He only drops 11 rines and a medic (didn't totally fill up the second dship) so I cloak my wraiths and bring in the 7 more that I have also built and cloak them as well. My wraiths proceed to rape the rines, even after he scans, but just as the last rine is blown away, ShaolinGod^VL^ comes in with 5 sairs and a shuttle carrying a goon and 2 zeals. My 10 remaining, and damaged, wraiths didn't stand a chance against the sairs with observer support, so I retreated them to my base for repairs and lifted my cc. I had my remaing SCV's repair it as it floated back home until the last of them died to the zeals, and fortuneately for me it made it to the edges of my island. A group of rines I had hastily trained during the battle made sure no sairs pursued my cc into my base.

Sec is quick to counter their raid on my exp. He loads up 5-6 ovies full of hydras (prolly speed and range upgraded) and unloads the deadly cargo on the unsuspecting TerranGuy. The hydras are dropped in the upper-bottom-left section of TheTerranGuy's base and tear through buildings like no tomorrow. The hydras bring down around 10 depots, an ebay, an acadamy, and a rax. Unfortuneatly, TheTerranGuy moved in with about 7-10 tanks and a controll group or two of M. Needless to say, Sec's 20 or so hydras took it doggy-style.

Oh well, he tried. Back at home, I had to recollect my thoughts. Seeing that wraiths wouldn't do the job vs sairs and M with detection, I begin construction of a second and third rax and begin production of M along with my wraiths. Also, since ShaolinGod^VL^ had sairs, Sec's ovies were in danger, so I sent 4 wraiths to Sec's base to protect them. On the way, the wraith's passed over my old exp and fount nothing there, so I sent my cc back to that exp along with a controll group of wraiths.

While I get my exp online, I decide it is my turn to kill something, so I load up 3 dropships up with M and 2 tanks and send them to the top of ShaolinGod^VL^'s base along with a controll group and a half of wraiths. I unload them out of sight of ShaolinGod^VL^'s nearest buildings and stim my rines. As soon as the medics have healed them, I charge all of my forces in. 10 of the wraiths circle around to the back in attempt to harras some probes while the rest of the group was taking out buidings, but three well place cannos near his peons prevented that, so I circled them around again to join the fighting. ShaolinGod^VL^ had brought in a formidible army to battle mine. He had about 10 sairs, two controll groups of goon/zeal and 3 temps. He immidiately storms and most of my rines die before the goons can even fire. Seeing the battle is lost, I run my surviving wraiths home along with the dships. 2 storms later the M is gone. On the way home, my wraiths run into a cannon at the exp to the bot right of ShaolinGod^VL^'s base. An expandsion.

Seeing this reminded me that my main was mined out and I begin construction of 2 cc's to float to the middle-right island. I also built an armory and ebay and began upgrading ground weapons and air armor. Sec has expanded as well, this to the the one to the top left of him.

For a while, nothing really happens. My army of M and wraiths keeps growing and Sec 's hydra force keeps growing as well, with the addition of lurkers and a few lings. By now my second exp is online and thriving while the minerals begin to deteriotate at my first. The silence is soon broken, though, as I see a bunch of orange and brown dots converging on my second exp. I click over to my exp to find 6 shuttles and three dropships with sair support unloading on the top part of the island. I quickly load up my 4 shuttles with as much as possible and send them in along with close to two controll groups of wraiths. By the time they arrive, my top cc is razed along with all the SCV's and my forces clean up what wasn't sent to finish the bottom cc. as soon as the top is clear, I siege my 3 tanks behind the gyeser, stim my rines, cloak my wraiths, and charge. Lucky for me, ShaolinGod^VL^ only brought along 1 temp, so there weren't as many storms, but storm was not an issue, because the attacking force was just too damn big and I couldn't fend them off. As my last tank dies, I run my 13 surviving wraiths home with the dships. I kept a bunch of wraiths at my last exp to help defend another drop on it.

Shortly after, TheTerranGuy dropped 5 dships of M on Sec's exp, and it was razed in a heart beat. But Sec seemed to not mind at all, as right as the hatchery exploded, he loaded up 10 ovies full of hydras, lurkers, and lings and sent them over to TheTerranGuy's base. With the bulk of TheTerranGuy's army still Sec's old exp, there was little resistance and the hydras began tearing through the buildings once again. Sec did something extremely smart though. He kept some scourge around the edge of TheTerranGuy's base, and as the dships were coming back with the M, 4 of the 5 dships were destroyed in the blink of an eye. The rest of the base fell quickly after that, and even though TheTerranGuy had an exp (as we soon found out) he knew he was out of the game, so he left with a gg.

I notice that my army is considerably large now...about 3 controll groups of M, 5 tanks, and 2 controll groups of wraiths, so I load up my M and tanks in about 9-12 dships in preperation to drop ShaolinGod^VL^. In a coordination with Sec, who was dropping 13 ovies of hydra/lurker/ling, we drop our cargo's at the same time, me at the top and him at the bottom. ShaolinGod^VL^ fought bravely and stormed away half of my M before the goon/zeal even got there, but the sairs got distracted with Sec's ovies, so my wraiths/tanks/M owned his forces hard as the hydra/lurker/ling came in from behind to seal the deal. The base fell pretty quickly after that. Knowing the game was over, he left the game with his last exp standing.
