HI I AM A NEWB AND I LIKE TO PLAY AGAINST PEOPLE AND LOSE TO MAKE THEM LOOK GOOD. SOMETIMES IT IS FUN TO WIN. PLEASE ENJOY THIS BECAUSE IT'S TAKEN ME WELL OVER SEVEN HOURS TO COMPLETE, AND THE PICTURES ARE A BITCH TO DO. THANK YOU AND HAPPY PRESIDENT'S DAY. MAY MANY BLOWJOBS BLESS ALL OF YOU.
Okay, so I can get a 10...none of the games were played on Lost Temple. =o
The teams are (]Dragon[) and -=WingedAngel=-, aka "Team DevilAngel," and Tree-LOBP- and Ground-LOBP-, aka "Team GroundedTree."
So, before some of you people go berserk from a non-temple game...

I (-=wingedangel=-) random to blue Zerg at bottom right, (]Dragon[) randoms to teal Protoss at top right, Tree-LOBP- chooses toss and warps at bottom left, and Ground-LOBP- randoms to orange toss at top left. Perfect.
My build is an Extractor Trick, Hatch at choke, Spawning Pool, Zerglings, and Extractor for Hydras. Dragon does the standard anti-random build for Protoss; Pylon, Gate, Gate, Gas. After scouting our opponents, we find early Cy. Cores at both bases, and realize that they're going for DT tech. I cry because Corsair/DT is evil and I've been raped by it so many times before.
I decide to power hard, getting a third Hatchery when I can. Soon I have a control group of Hydras and lings, and I send these over to my natural for an expansion. My partner does the same, setting up Cannons along with his Nexus. My expansions comes online without a hitch, and I maynard a few Drones over and start pumping Hydras. Corsairs harass me for a bit, but there are no DT strikes. I lose Ovies due to the extreme lack of depth defense in my main. Stupid me. =(
I scout orange with a ling, and see that he doesn't have that many troops; just a few Corsairs, Templar, and random ground troops. I have a lot of Hydras (actually, only 30). Dragon has Zealots, goons, and Reavers. Dragon and I agree to strike him.
Dragon goes in first, taking a few Storms, but the buff Protoss walk through it easily. There is some sporadic firing, as his Dragoons fire at Templar and enemy Dragoons on the cliff, and Dragon drops his Reavers. His Zealots engage at Tree's choke, and then my Hydras are whipping in, taking Storms and losing around eight. There's a quick, fierce battle for his choke. Storm totally wrecks me, and Dragon's troops have been killed by Cannon fire and Zealots. Tree's Corsairs then come in and kill my Overlords for DT detection, taking me down 24 supply.
We were owned. In defeat, we expand to our respective mineral-only expansions.
We did, however, cripple Tree's troop count.
-=WingedAngel=-: "Let's hit orange again, he doesn't look too good."
(]Dragon[): "Ok."
Korean special tactic: hit a brother while he's down.
On my way to Tree's base, though, I am greeted by a few of Ground's Zealots..."a few" as in like six of Ground's Zealots. Against my whole force of Hydras.

Ouch.

I gather another group of Hydras, this one numbering around 40, and elect to go in first. I walk in and take out his Nexus, the beginning of an expansion, under heavy Storms and Scout fire from Ground. Dragon comes in shortly after, with DTs and Zealots, and together we raze the rest of Tree's expansion and fight our way up his choke. I, however, get ten of my Hydras caught in a storm, and then morph my last six into Lurkers. Shortly after, I run them up Tree's battle-scarred choke and into his base, and burrow them, leap-frogging in groups of three to push farther into his structures. At this point, Tree is beaten from the game. D-webs cover my Lurkers, so I just unburrow them all and have them attack separate buildings, going for Pylons first.
A few Hydras remain after the massacre that is Storm, and I use these to kill stray Templar around Tree's main. A control group of Hydras are outside of his choke, and these I use to attack his mineral-only, which had been scouted earlier by my partner's Shuttles.
I check my bank of resource nodes, and see that my main is mined out, my natural is almost mined out, and I have only a few Drones working at my mineral-only. It is time to expand again, and the only other place to expand is the mineral-only to my left. I march a large group of Hydras, something like 48, to the expansion, and catch Ground's Scouts guarding Tree's fledgling expansion. I, doing what any self-respecting Korean Zerg player would do, raze it to the ground and laugh evilly. I lose a 2-0 Hydra to 1-2-2 Scouts.

I quickly establish an expansion and maynard 12 Drones from my saturated mineral-only. I expect to be counter-attacked soon with Hell, aka D-Web, so I set-up a network of Spore Colonies to slow him down from d-webbing my Hydras. No pressure comes in, and I lay down a few more Hatcheries for better macro.
On the minimap I see a vast blob of teal, and I scroll up to see an Arbiter and an assload of Carriers. Eh. I look back at my growing number of Hydras (still only 60) and then come to a conclusion: Dragon is bad-ass.
We coordinate an attack on Ground's base, and as my Hydras charge down his choke (directly into Cannon fire and D-Web), Dragon is opening a can from the east. I realize that not only am I fighting through D-web, but there's a fleet of Carriers on the cliff, too.

Damn it. Hydras are dropping faster than Clinton's pants in a room full of sailors, and as I attempt to shoot down the Carriers, Cannons are bringing in volleys of fire that mow down group after group of my troops. I quickly bring my remaining troops over to a spot away from the Carriers, and order the three or four control groups at my main to haul ass for support.
Well, it doesn't really matter because Dragon has razed the eastern sector of Tree's main.

Dragon takes the win and I take screens of the scores.

Game one goes to team DevilAngel. After that game, team "GroundedTree" challenges us to a rematch, on a map called "Tropical Fever." NOBODY KNOWS THE MAP. =o
Game Two begins...

Before the game starts I'll fill you in on the map. It's a non-blizzard map (I think), and it's basically four bases in the corners of a 128 x 192 map on a plateau. All the bases are connected through a central expansion, and there are secondary expansions in between the bases lining the wall...I think two longways and one shortways. However, these secondary expansions are placed on lower ground, and there are no access ramps to get to them. So, air transports are required, or, if you're a bastard-Terran-whore-newbie like me, you can float over a CC into the expansion areas. (Note: those of you that float CCs into expansion areas are not necessarily bastard-Terran-whore-newbies.)
I random to white Terran at bottom left, (]Dragon[) randoms to orange toss at top right, Tree-LOBP- chooses toss and warps in as brown at top left, and Ground-LOBP- chooses toss and randoms to toss at bottom right.
As we all begin our builds, Ground points out that the map is a BGH map; each mineral patch has 10000 crystal. Ouch. Tree says it's not...

While we're at it, I ask Tree if I can br.

Well that's a low-blow. (]Dragon[) tells me that the map is not island, as we had first assumed. He goes for an extensive Reaver build, and tells me to go Wraiths, instead of my standard infantry rush as Terran. K. I cancel my second rax and immediately start a Factory, seeing that I had gotten early Gas for some reason...(note: this particular newbie, "-=wingedangel=-" often forgets to go Acad first when infantry rushing). I then save up Gas for the StarPorts after the Fact is done, and set up a tight formation of structures around my CC with a Bunker guarding.
A Zealot scouts me, and does some funky moves in and out of my SCV line before my Bunker finally kills it.

My Factory finishes and I add a Machine Shop onto it, then plop down three StarPorts in rapid succession. As my first one finishes I add a Control Tower, then start a Wraith and research cloak. I also add more Marines to my Bunker, because I expect to be rushed very hard, especially after a Zealot scouted me going for an early tech build. No such attack ever takes place, and I am free to power with 3817400982743 SCVs and three StarPorts.

I scout with my first Wraith to the right, and it dies to a battery of Photon Cannons. Eh. There goes "Operation Probe Rape." Dragon continues with his Reaver build, and soon he has a Reaver with a Dragoon and two Zealots coming down, and me, being the slow-ass Terran that I am, tell him "coming" in assurance that he'll have the support of my 3-Wraith squad. I don't think he was felt very secure.

To your right you can see what happens; my partner's Reaver takes heavy Dragoon fire, despite his Zealots' best efforts to repel the two or three Dragoons we meet. The 3-Wraith hit squad comes in a tad late, unable to save the Reaver from dying in a blue explosion of Scarab-matter. I HAVE CLOAKING KEKEKE. My Wraiths slowly...no, wait, s l o w l y kill the wounded Dragoons, and a second Reaver comes in with a Shuttle, along with a spare Zealot. We being attacking the Pylon in earnest, and as the second Reaver is destroyed, Dragon shouts at me "PYLON." I realize that I was shooting at Dragoons, and immediately switch fire to the Pylons, now supported by a group of Vultures and more Wraiths. It goes down. I cheer. PROTOSS POWERING: DENIED.
I research Siege at home, and bring up the two Tanks that I had produced during this anti-Pylon campaign. My Wraiths and Vultures are hitting on the Gateways, and seeing that the Vultures are doing diddly-shit to the heavily armored structures I tell them to go scamper off to scout the map for expansions and expansion-attempts. My Tanks come in, and Dragon sets up Cannons in Ground's base. We are sieging the bastard, and we are sieging the bastard good. As you can tell from the picture the siege is cost-effective enough, as we lost one or two Reavers, a few Vultures, and some wounded Wraiths in shutting down Ground-LOBP- for the duration of the early game.

Right now I'm feeling pretty damn cocky. One guy was wounded horribly, my partner had an expansion up, and I was now starting a second Factory for more Tanks to attack Tree-LOBP-, that master of Protoss air, with Tanks and Goliaths. My partner was also gearing up with a large number of Templar, Reavers, and miscellaneous ground troops for a drop. We are kings of the world.
Oh. What's this brown blob I see on the map? Large numbers of Scouts killing my Vultures?
asdf
I look back at my base, see the flimsy 5 Wraiths there, and realize...I have no armory for Goliath or Valk production.
asdf
Doing what any newbie would do in such a situation, I panicked, then began to set up more Barracks and Factories and then an Academy and Armory. I also began building a second CC to expand to my right, where an expansion existed down in a valley with no access ramp. Generally, I am pissing my pants and pumping Marines and soon Gols like mad to combat any Scout attacks.
As the last of my Vultures die, I take a glance at the mini-map and see that my partner has taken a second expansion, and that Ground has taken a long line of expansions on the left side of the map. Taking a quick glance at my current forces, I decide that I have a respectable force for a turbo newbie on Ground's southernmost expansion.

Two things happened after I sieged up. Scouts came in, and Scouts totally raped me. We're not talking about a hit squad here, we're talking 20+, enough to rape around 20 Medarines, eight or so Goliaths, a few Turrets, and four Tanks.
Now I pumped Medarines, Gols, and set-up more Factories so my current total of unit-producing structures was four Barracks and four Factories, all pumping Marines, Medics, and Goliaths with a token Tank here and there. I did not expect to survive.
Now, Dragon had a few Shuttles loaded with Archons, Dark Templar, Templar, and Reavers. I wasn't too worried for him, but when he uttered "SHIET," I damn near pissed my pants again. I thought, "holy shit, what could he possibly be worried about?" Only a large number of Scouts hitting his base while half his force was in a Shuttle fleet. He repelled the attack, luckily, and I calmed down a bit, and added a second Armory for more upgrading, as well as Turreting my expansion like a whore.
Ground does not let me sit in content, though, and soon another large force of Scouts is attacking my main. Charon-booster upgraded Goliaths light their glittering AA Hellfire missiles and Marines stim up to treble the air with their stuttering Gauss Rifles. Scouts open fire with concentrated bursts of their Pulse Cannons, and for a few moments all I hear is dying Marines among the screams of anti-aircraft missiles. My Medics heal frantically, though the sounds of their work our drowned out in the cacophony of war that is death. The battle ends with Ground pulling back a reduced number of Scouts and me with a handful of Marines and Goliaths.
Shortly after, I see why Tree-LOBP- had pulled back...(]Dragon[) had launched an assault on Ground-LOBP-'s main base at the top central expansion.

Reaver Scarabs and Psi Storm totally wreck the Probes mining there, as Archons destroy a few Cannons and then take on a fleet of Scouts come to Ground's rescue. The drop force is weakened, though, as Templar had drained themselves of mana, Reavers were rebuilding Scarab stores, and the Archons had expended much of their psionic essence into keeping their shields up.

Okay. Everybody's exhausted from the fighting; Scouts are hurt, Gols are hurt, Reavers are hurt, and Ground has been hurting for quite a while. Well, someone's gotta throw the next punch, and that next someone is obviously the poorest and most ghetto player in the bunch. No, it's not the aristocratic Protoss, it's the ghetto-town Terrans that must carry the weight of this responsibility. I elect to siege Tree's main, but Dragon persuades me to try a second turbo-newbie on his expansion, this time the one above the I had attempted to attack earlier. Tree-LOBP- doggedly throws his defense force of Corsairs and Scouts at my dug-in troops, and a stiff fight develops, while Dragon sends in an attack force of goons and Archons at Tree's base. He is out for vengeance.

My Marines stim up, firing rapidly, as Gols weave in and out of Disruption Webs to let loose their devastating payloads of fire. Scouts are skirmishing rapidly, expertly with my troops, but the sheer mass of Terran material, and the lack of Protoss Psionic Storm, wins the battle. I leave my Tanks behind to continue to raze his expansion, and send in all my remaining Medarine and Goliaths for the final blow in conjunction with Dragon.

Congratulations on a game well-played by everybody...except for me. Oh, and for Tree, "AIR ROCKED" and "TERRAN GROUND SUCKED." Thank you everyone for reading and good night.
