Warning: this report is pic heavy and will take a VERY VERY VERY long time to load!!

Now you can cuss me out for the beginning collage and the time it takes to download it.

Welcome, I'm an idiot and accidentally hit "send report" instead of "preview report" so some of you might have seen a rough draft/half finished copy of this :[. You can complain about this in the forum though :]. Hopefully this report will be worth your time. Now, without further ado, on to the game. First the player introductions.

Joe.Smurf (who will be referred to as Joe from here on): Well Joe owns me...but then again everyone owns me so it would be sad if he couldn't. Some of you have probably seen Joe around NH. He might be the best player I've ever played. I'd say Joe's in the top 10% skill level on b.net.

WorkYou: My games vs. WorkYou are even more pitiful than vs. Joe for some reason even though Joe leads the series vs. WorkYou at about ten to seven. WorkYou hangs out in smurfs, NH, and kor-nc most of the time.
Battle.Frums (who will be referred to as Battle from now on): Battle is also a very good player and mostly hangs out in Smurfs. Not much else to say...

Game 1
Where’s my bengalass? !@#$ why don’t people consider the observer when creating a game? Bobs obs map owns you!!

The Map: The Lost Temple of course.

Joe let the Starcraft gods choose his race and ended up landed a yellow command center at 3o'clock.

WorkYou didn't trust the gods with his fate and picked zerg, spawning a teal hatchery at 6o'clock.

My fellow observer, Battle, would add nothing to this game...but he was there so I guess that should count.

Before the game could get very far WorkYou had to pause for the phone or to use the lil' boys room. So sue me I forgot. Something happens while he's gone:

BW needs a delete command like on AOE that creates internal combustion to blow up the unit. That’ll show those ungratefull SCVs.

I said "something" because I don't know wtf Joe's talking about. Obviously his scvs don't like it. Will this hurt his chances to win? Only time will tell. Anyway, lets see those build orders.

Joe's elects to go fast factory with an 8-depot, 10-barrack, 12-refinery, then another depot to finish his wall-in. As he gathers in the resources his 1st and 2nd factory start to build. His 9th scv, who was sent counter clockwise, found WorkYou in the last place he looked.

WorkYou creates an overlord at 9/9 and a lone drone travels to his natural expansion to create a hatchery at 13 control. His spawning pool starts at 12 control at which point he sees Joe's scouting scv with the overlord he sent to 9o'clock and he points out his dislike.

Thanks Bill thouse schools is turn out creme of crop now.

Obviously, WorkYou doesn't like ZvT. As they say you learn something new everyday but, alas, we never told WorkYou what astute meant ;/.

WorkYou have been massing zerglings and rallying them at his natural by his expansion hatchery. Joe is producing vultures out of two factories. Seeing this WorkYou knows he must attack before his zerlings become useless. WorkYou sends about two controlled groups of speedlings to Joe's main.

Hmmm, don't really know what to put here so lets just say this never happend and move on, k?

As WorkYou's speedlings reach Joe's they find stiff resistant as the 24~ lings meet a couple of scvs, 3 marines, and 4 vultures. Joe beats back the attack but WorkYou sends reinforcements and a battle of micro ensues.

Just as it seems WorkYou will over run Joe, 2 more vultures pop out to halt the attack. Realizing to futility of sending in more lings WorkYou retreats his lings to fight another day. Joe commences rebuilding and repairing his attack force.

Who goes lings vs terran? Who goes metal vs zerg? This teachs us that drug are BAD. (don't drink either)

As Joe sends an attack force of 6 vultures he runs into WorkYou containment force of about 12 lings. With stunning micro Joe easily out-maneuvers WorkYou's lings and losses only 1 vulture.

Joe moving on to WorkYou's natural without harassment. Joe speeds up to WorkYou's natural and starts attacking the morphing creep colony. WorkYou sends most of his lings and a few drones to stop these nasty bikers but fail. The vultures, along with reinforcements, actually destroy the hatchery (do you no how LONG it takes vultures to destroy a hatchery?).

WorkYou has a spire about finished and is morphing muta for the annoying bikers of destruction. Joe was ready for this, though, and has created a force of wraiths and a few goliaths.

With his muta, WorkYou chases after the vultures. Joe brings in his wraiths then retreats before overwhelming muta numbers. One important thing the wraiths did, though, was bring the muta away from Joe's vultures and 1 tank. Joe was able to kill some more lings and drones before the mutalisks came back to destroy them.

Trying to catch Joe of guard WorkYou quickly sends his muta group (of about 8) to Joe's main. Joe is ready with 4 goliaths and 6 wraiths. The muta group retreats as quickly as it came.

You know what I've learned from BR.com? You can accually get high on water! If that got out water would be banned within a week, though, so keep it to yourself.

Both players have been building up their armies. During the silence, Joe expanded to his natural. WorkYou tries expanding again to his natural. Joe, watching WorkYou very closely, sees this and gets ready to attack. Things don't look good for WorkYou.

Who would've thought people accually researched cloak.

Joe sends his 12 wraiths and 12 goliaths with a few vultures towards WorkYou's base. WorkYou Pushes up with his force at the same time. Joe retreats to the middle of the map and reinforcements meet up with Joe's main group.

The final battle ensues as both players have all of their forces in the large melee. The winner of this shall be able to plow on through to the others main. Joe micros his goliaths away from WorkYou's lings and cloaks his wraiths. This besides the game. WorkYou has no overlords within range and no overlord speed.

Joe cleans up the mutalisks and reinforces his army to finish off the lings. WorkYou, realizing his folly by not considering cloak, concedes the game and Joe.Smurf is victorious.

Game 2

For those dial up users I won't waste your time with a second picture of Lost Temple ;].

Joe randomed to brown Protoss at 3o'clock.
Battle (new opponent ^^) randomed to orange Zerg at 6o'clock.
Joe goes for a fast expansion with pylon, forge, pylon and some cannons.
Battle expands to the 9o'clock main and a second hatch is morphed at his main ramp.

Battle doesn't try to attack Joe and they both build up there armies. Joe Techs to reavers but sends to harassment forces. Battle goes hydra and a 2 evo chamber dual upgrade of his hydra. He upgrades his hatcheries as needed for upgrading. Joe techs to templar when he sees so many hydra and no zerglings.
As you probably thought, Joe found Battle's 9o'clock expansion undefended and sent in his army.

Some people acually defend their expansions. What a bunch of pansies.

The goons arrive first and take the high ground. The hydra (with 1/1 upgrades) follow the goons (with 0/0/1 upgrades) up the ramp were a bloody battle ensues. Even with superior numbers the hydra almost lose. With a couple of reinforcements, though, the hydra prevail. Joe sent some DTs ahead to finish off the expansion. These are successful in destroying the hatchery before an overlord can come. Joe is happy with this and, thinking that Battle is crippled, starts an expansion of his own at the 12o'clock natural. Little does he know, Battle has an overlord on the cliff and quickly sends a group of hydra to destroy this attempt. The nexus there is canceled and easily shut down for the only defensive was four half warped cannons.

Joe has set up a containment force outside Battle's main, hoping to force Battle to at least get drop researched before he can expand again. This setup plays into Battle's hands, though, as he has about 24 hydra OUTSIDE his base roaming the Lost Temple. This makes Joe's forces open to flanking and encirclement which can only lead to slaughter, right?

Battle jumps on the opportunity and moves his men out. This might turn the game for who ever wins so Battle takes extra care and micros his men incase of storm.

Where's the lings? Did we forget lings > goons?....NM who needs a unit advantage anyway.

Battle might have been to jumpy and started to soon. Only about eight hydra come out from his base but it might be enough. With about to groups from outside his base Battle's forces meet Joe's. Only one templar is with the protoss army and so there will be no changing the battle once advantage is gained by one player. The hydra(2/2) out number the goons(1/1/2) and have more upgrades. Soon the numbers turn the battle and with forces from both sides the protoss army is crushed.
Trying to take advantage of his victory Battle expands to his natural. Soon after he expands again to the 9o'clock main. This doesn't work out however as Joe sends a force of goons, zealots, and high templar to the 9o'clock main. Battle's hydra force arrives to late but engages the protoss force instead. Battle easily overwhelms Joe's force. Now here's a mini-map update :].

Hey, no hacks, thats amazing.

Desperate for an expansion Joe expands to the top left island. Battle finds this with a patrolling overlord before Joe even starts his nexus there. Battle drops 16 hydra on the base. Joe has nothing there to protect the base and is forced to cancel his warping buildings.

Battle, for the third time, expands to the 9o'clock main. This time he leaves some hydra there to protect it. Trying to end the game, Battle has filled about 10 overlords full of hydra. While enroute to Joe's base Joe sends a force of his own to Battle's natural expansion. The protoss group meets little resistant and the expansion is turned to slushy organic material. Meanwhile, Joe finally puts up a nexus at his mineral only which he has been long distance mining from for about a minute now.

Instead of falling back to help his natural, Battle continues on to Joe's main with about 40 hydra in overlords. Joe doesn't look like he'll be surprised, for he has a fair large troop count inside his base. Mainly reavers with a few goons and zealots meet the force of hydra. Whether Joe saw this force or not, he was as ready as he could have been for it.

Damn reavers suck. No they don't suck, they suck when you have to fi...ah nm. Go away you're making me cry!!

The battle was short. Four reavers slaughtered the hydra force. This battle brakes the back of the zerg swarm. With Joe containing Battle Joe takes map control, and we all know if protoss has map control zerg is as good as dead. Taking advantage of the map control, Joe expands to the top left island and the 12o'clock natural. Joe soon finds Battle's last expansion at 9o'clock and sends in a small group of zealots, high templar, and one probes that was nearby. The hydra group outnumbers the protoss force but very nice storm placement ends the hydra threat.

Atleast it will be fast

The last thing to go down is Battle's main. This isn't a very hard egg to crack. Only three sunkens guard it and six reavers abuse the defenses.
Well, it was pretty fast AND painfull. Thats just great. Again, not great it's a figure of spe... Hmmm this ended badly.

GGs are exchanged and your winner is Joe.Smurf

Game 3?

April fools! Except I typed this two weeks ago...

OK, so this wasn't really a game :P. I mean I don't no what WorkYou was thinking, he'd crush me and no one wants to watch some newbie playing.

The Real Game 3 (or game 4?)

Again, no picture of the Lost Temple. I will give you the builds ect. thought (aren't I nice?). This game is another 1v1 between WorkYou and Joe. Do you think you can guess who will win? Would I be stupid enough to show Joe winning all 3 games? Wait and see.

WorkYou picks protss and gets a teal nexus to warp in at 3o'clock. He gets a near perfect split and starts off with a fast pylon, forge, pylon, and cannons. This leads to the sencond fast expanding protoss player of this series. The last one (Joe) won doing this. Will Joe know how to stop this? Only time will tell.

Joe randoms and is awarded a newly spawned hatchery at 6o'clock. He nicely splits his drones and clones his drones to 9 control. He does a usual 9 overlord, 12 hatchery (at natural) build. Seeing the fast expansion, Joe counters with some expanding of his own. He double expands to the 9o'clock main and natural.

No offensive attempts are made by any player. One thing that plays into Joe's hand is WorkYou doesn't find Joe's early double expansion. WorkYou feels contempt to sit and produce men. He goes two gate to templar tech. At about the same time Joe powers like crazy. He is going mainly mass hydra. WorkYou starts to warp in more gates to bring his total to six. About this time he gets observer tech to deal with any annoying lurkers. The protoss air tech was never reached this game. There was no need, no zerg air was used either :].

Joe has now massed a HUGE! amount of hydra. WorkYou has lots of templar and energy at 250 though. Right now there has been no blood what so ever except for the occasional scout being slaughtered by dozens of projectiles. And yes, when I say dozens i mean dozens. Maybe even hunreds in Joe's case. It seems this game is a race to who can mass a max supply troop count first. Trying to get another expo, WorkYou sends out a lone probe. Needless to say the probe couldn't sneak past the massed hydra, overlords, and queens outside his base. Yes, Joe has started to pump queens to for the high templar.

It seems Joe beat WorkYou to 200. The upgrades are: Joe with 1/1 hydra and WorkYou with no upgrades at all :[. At this point Joe sends a small force just to see if he can get WorkYou to waste a few storms and as some heavy duty scouting. Seeing the mass of zealots, goons, and high templar, Joe holds off an immediately attack. Thinking of the immposible feat of killing WorkYou with any less than 200 or so hydra, he expands to the 9o'clock and 6o'clock mineral only.

I finally see some movement out of WorkYou. He moves out one speedy zealot to scout. It is immidiatly killed by 12 hydra but not before seeing the sea of hydra outside WorkYou's base. At this point, WorkYou knows he must breakout or die trying. Yes there are some pictures for this last game :]. Better yet, an animation!!

Kill me now. It would be faster to find out where I live and walk over to kill me than to wait for this to load.

After this huge battle, both player retreat to rebuild. Joe would've just wasted hydra trying to throw his masses through such a small pass to WorkYou's main before he was ready. We all know clumps of hydra > storm right? HA April fools :O. OK that wasn't funny sorry :[. About 80 zerg and protoss troops died in the one minute span of time that battle took up. Lets see, if you multiply that by 30, 2400 troops would have died in one hour. That one minute was as bloody as any real life war.

Joe and WorkYou start to build up again. WorkYou has gained his first upgrade which is a weapons upgrade to give him 1/0/0 on his units. Still not nearly enough. Joe's hydra are at 2/2 and 3/3 is researching. Goons have range and zealots have legs for WorkYou, though. Joe has hydra range and speed. He's also broodlinging every templar in sight. Ensnare is also researched. WorkYou's main is mined out and his natural is dangerously low. The final battle ensues.

Well, could you have guessed? Hoe won them all errr... Joe ya :].

As you can see, WorkYou is totally out massed. No one can micro and survive when they are out numbered almost 10 to 1. WorkYou is amazed at the amount of troops Joe is fielding. GGs are exchanged and Joe.Smurf is our victor.

This has been a Buckeye.Smurf production.

The head of this create is the seed of a Buckeye tree. Yes, I know it looks like something that would've married the elephant man.
