Hi! And welcome to my SECOND report,after my first report i got many comments with a lot of constructive criticism, it suprised me alot how good manner u people are ;).
INTRODUCTION
It was 7 o’clock, sunday, i had just come home from McD(McDonalds-red)where a couple of buddy’s and i had been eating after a long day(doing nothing at all). Upon entering my home, i found that i was alone, that familiar feeling of being scared/happy to have the house for myself, overwhelmed me, and after grapping a snack i switch on my comp, heading for b.net. The channel(brood war dnk-1) was well known for its pointless discussions and general laming, after switching a couple of /ignores on, i found [1C]Pedross willing to play a game.
THE GAME
Pedross warped in a purple nexus at 3 o’clock, he scouted counter-clock wise and found me at 9 with a newly spawned purple hatch.
I made a ovie at 8, a exp hatch at 11 and pool at 11.Later followed a gas and hydra den.
Pedross made a pylon at 8 psi, and double gate at 11. Later he added gas and core at 20.
 Pedross rushed my expansion with a few zeals and probes, but to my luck i started a sunken as soon as my hatch spawned, with the help of a few lings, I chased them away.
 Before we move on with some of the action heres a minimap to the left, the units in the middle are Pedross zeals retrating.
My lurker tech was just complete, and i imediatly moved 5 lurks, some hydra and 15lings to contain him, he had no observers, but as you can see he had his own (special?) way of killing 1 Lurk.
After several storms and after losing several of his men due to bad micro, Pedross finally broke the containment, at this point i probably should have attacked again, or at least reinforced my containment, but i had just expanded at the 6 main.
At the 15 minute mark i loaded up 24 hydras and dropped them at Pedross main, first i unloaded 12 and let them dance around, killing temps and avoiding storm, while some of the others were morphing into lurks. Pedross had his army ready to attack my 6 main, but was forced to retreat back to his main. As his men arrived i had my lurks ready, a furious, micro heavy battle ensued, storms flew hydras was dancing like theres no tommorow, but it all ended up with a storm killing my last 5 hydras in shot :p
 
I think its time for a all explaining minimap right now :D As you can see Pedross have placed small “bases” on the legdes of 12 and 6 main, each consisting of 2 gates and some cannons, he also thrashed my 6 main. Outside Pedross base is about 25 hydra, and in case you are wondering, the big blue spot in the top right of the map, is my 6 ovies left from the drop.
A quiet feeling came over The Lost Temple. Was it because we paused the game cuz he went for a piss?? Maybe...maybe not...all i know is that for some or another reason the screen was suddenly black and white, and i thougth: “wtf?” Could this be armaggedon? Has a fanatic muslim busted the BW server with a Boeing 747?? The answer is no, indeed Pedross was taking a piss :-/ he came back and we started.
Seeing how ineffective storm was vs lurks(god bless 1.08) i loaded up 4 hydra on his expansion ledge, after they morphed, they killed some probes and stopped all mining at the exp for several minutes.
Pedross was having enogh of this harrasment, he rounded up his army at took the fight to my main exp. 13 zeals 4 goons and a temp(the temp was killed before any storm were used) slammed into my 22 hydras, i spread my forces out, but he was not stupid he ran his zealots in between my hydras and got a few killed before i could manage to dance away, i ran up behind the the crystals in my mineral only and confused his zeals, after a short fight, blue blood covered the crystals like beard on a muslims face(*cough*).
In the meantime i took the upper left island while he took the 6 main. He also took the 12 natural, but a quick 8 hydra drop killed it. Once again, Pedross took a huge zealot army and raced into my exp, 6 lurks quickly got his mind changed, and he retreated without back to his main. Pedross likes to expand while he attack, and this time he took the 6 natural, but I knew that he could not be allowed to do this, if he got mapcontrol i would lose. So therefore I took 30 lings, smashed his 6 natural and made the utter STUPID decicion to also attack his 6 main, and i want you all to knnow that, 30 lings dont do well against 5 cannnons and a templar on ledge... all my lings were smashed, while I got 1! hit on his templar :(
My natural was running dry so i took the 12 main and natural after dropping his small base there.
After all this action a minimap must be nice :-)
Things looked good now, i had a healty lead in income and a sizeable force at my natural exp, plus some units for defence at 12. but as we know, so much can happen in so little time. 3 shuttles dropped a lethal crago at my island, and my sunkens were no match. Now, we pretty much had an even income, but if i couldn’t end this game soon, he would overpower me with resources from 6.
Pedross was also seeking to end the game, and moved all of his forces to the 12 main and natural, i saw this and instead of helping my expansions(i could easily have defeated his forces)i countered, 20 hydra and 4 lurks smahed his expansion, moved on to his main and killed several gates, pylons and misc buildings.
KILL HIS DEFENCELESS BUILDINGS FUCK HIS MAIN FORCE!
 
My teeth were looking for that blue stuff that only comes when protoss buildings explode, so i continued to ravage his main when his forces broke through my 12 main defence and smashed the hatches there. In my carnage at Pedross main, i suddely saw 3 shadows coming from his 3, still existing gates, i frantically looked around for an overlord, and when i found one and put it en route, my hydras were toast...
As i stopped to think i evaluated my situation, i had no income, since my 12 main and natural were bust, 287 minerals and 10 hydra at my exp... things were looking bad, he had his 6 main probably a lot more money, i had made a very stupid decision, i should have helped my expansions so i could luve to fight another day, but no, i countered and lost everything. BAD MOVE OF THE DAY.
I typed GG and after 40 minutes of play, i left b.net to post my previous report.
Phew, thats all folks, a long match and in my opinion, a lot better report than my first, thanks for reading!
