Starting at the 9:00 start position, the hot favorite, commanding the mighty Protoss we have Deez!!. And starting at the 3:00 position, the underdog also commanding the Protoss legions I present SeXc!! (*note font is white because he was white)

If you havent guessed by now the game took place on the Lost Temple.

Both players got off to a good start cloning perfectly and both have set their probes rally points onto mineral patches to optimize mining speed! Both players warp a pylon on 8 supply, the difference being SeXc chooses to scout with the same probe whereas Deez sends it back to mine.

Deez warps a Gateway on 10 supply and chooses to scout with that probe. SeXc warps his first Gateway on 11 supply, whether he did this on purpose or made a mistake is any ones guess!

Deez warps in an Assimilator on 11 and on 13 supply begins construction of a Zealot. SeXc on the other hand warps in a second Gateway on 13 supply and soon SeXc scouting probe locates Deez at the 9:00 position.

Each player adds an additional pylon and nearly identical times however SeXc still hasnt begun mining Gas however he does have an additional Gateway! At 15 supply SeXc finally begins to warp in an assimilator, Deez has already amassed 100 gas by this point!

Both players begin warping Cybernetics Cores at nearly identical times, SeXc is on 15 supply at this point whereas Deez is sitting on 18 supply. SeXc begins construction of 2 Zealots and is finally making use of his double Gateway build order!

SeXc begins another pylon after his Core has warped in, whereas Deez begins a Robotics Facility and a Dragoons after the completion of his Core, as soon as he had gathered another 100 minerals Deez added another Pylon.

Soon after Deez added another Gateway while SeXc begun warping 2 Dragoons and upgrading Dragoon range. SeXc is ahead on troop count at this stage while Deez is streaks ahead in the technology department as he has just begun warping an observatory.

Well up until this point its been a rather boring old affair hasn?t it, I mean I have typed 550 words without a single piece of action taking place. But would I BR a boring replay? No..especially if I want any hope of getting that elusive gold rating!

Well the first little piece of action took place a few minutes later, both players were pumping from 3 gateways, Deez had begun upgrading his troops and SeXc had gotten Reaver tech and both players had large amounts of observers patrolling the map. Deez had also the time was ripe for expansion and begun warping in a nexus at the 12:00 expansion!

It is at this time that SeXc decides to launch an attack and moves out with 15 dragoons, 2 zealots and a Reaver. Deez is no fool however and sees SeXc troops moving out with 1 of his monitoring observers and rallies all available troops to his natural.

Deez engages and focuses his Dragoons fire on the Reaver allowing it to fire just 1 scarab. Deez then pulls his Dragoons back to his natural. It here that Deez combats genius comes into play, he divides his troops in half and sends 1 control group above one of the temple walls while the other attacks directly. SeXc troops are caught in a well placed pincer movement and SeXc orders a full scale retreat back to his main!

Deez pushes SeXc all the way back to his natural before SeXc re-groups with some re-enforcing dragoons and prepares to meet Deez charge, SeXc has an ace up his sleeve however.

The 2 armies engage and SeXc soon has the upper hand, the reason for this? 2 Reavers that were dropped mid-battle, Deez lost several Dragoons to scarab fire before focusing on the 2 Reavers. The damage was done however and SeXc had won the battle!!

I get a distinct feeling of dejavu as SeXc pursues Deez retreating troops to his natural before they regroup and another small skirmish takes place before SeXc withdraws, content with containing Deez to his natural.

Things are looking very even at this point with Deez controlling 1 expansion at the 12:00 natural while SeXc has just begun warping in a nexus at his natural! As Deez troops begin to mass at his natural SeXc withdraws his containment force into the center of the temple.

An important thing to not at this point is just how well both players are spending there cash, despite both having income from 2 bases they are keeping their cash supply beneath 400 at all times!!

Deez decides to break SeXc controls of the center and orders his entires force of dragoons into combat. Deez attack does not proceed smoothly however as he is flanked by SeXc and is caught between a rock and are hard place. Despite this excellent maneuver by SeXc superior troop count holds the day and SeXc is forced to retreat once again.

Deez pursues SeXc retreating goons to his natural where they are joined by reinforcements and Deez backs off. While this has been occurring Deez has begun warping a nexus at the 12:00 main.

Although Deez doesn?t realise it he had the power to end the game right then with his superior troop count, but he is content to contain SeXc and power. Once again it is important to note that both players have still kept their macro up and each still has less than 400 cash in the bank at all times!

Deez is continuing to add troops to the containment and I am beginning to wonder is SeXc can break out, little did I know I was about to whiteness one of the most spectacular strategic moves of all time.

SeXc drops a small squad of troops behind Deez containment and they proceed to head towards Deez 12:00 expansion. They are spotted however and Deez with draws a large portion of troops from his containment force to deal with them.

It is at that point that SeXc makes his move. SeXc army comes charging out of his natural and into Deez containment force. Deez containment is shattered and SeXc heads his remaining forces to Deez main. Deez however had anticipated an attack on his 12:00 expansions and rallies his troops there to defend it, Deez has little defense at his main when SeXc arrives.

Deez is no fool though and rather than defending his main he instead attacks SeXc main. Deez begins carving up SeXc natural and unfortunately for SeXc, Deez can afford to lose his main but SeXc cant afford to lose his natural!

SeXc troops arrive back home and slaughter Deez attacking troops! Both players have very low troop count at this time but SeXc has the larger army but Deez has a far superior economy, will SeXc use his advantage while he still holds it?

Yes he does! SeXc divides his army in half, one portion assaults Deez at the 12:00 position and the other heads for Deez main. Deez main is defenseless and SeXc troops walk in and hack away. At his natural however Deez fights like a madman, laying down cannons, microing every troop in his small force and eventually succeeds in defending himself!

Rather than pressing his small advantage SeXc expands to his natural in an attempt to match Deez superior economy. Deez superior macro is beginning to kick in however and soon his troop count is soaring beyond SeXc, can SeXc defend his natural?

Deez dispatches a few DT to his main and successfully defend what remains there. SeXc however decides to fight fire with fire and launches an offensive against Deez the 12:00 expansions. Deez defensive position allows him to hold off the offensive.

Deez decides the time has come and attacks SeXc mineral only. SeXc is outnumbered and out-resourced and as soon as his mineral only falls he quits the game!

Well there you have it folks, an excellent game from 2 world class players. BTW SeXc is actually a member of the clan Deez belongs to and they are good buds!
