"Be like JV, and randomly misplace units all across the map. When your main is burning to the ground look around for anything you might have missed like those 5 science vessels you rallied to the other side of the map." - Johnny_Vegas

So, here I am looking for a ladder game. I'd just gotten my new account to 10 wins and owned 2 newbs 1v1.
One of them tutled and went mass cannons so I made guards and he discd =(.
Anyway, I find this 4ffa game on Proving Grounds.
I'm the last one in there, so we start almost right after I join.
The players:
Murder(sphere) - white toss, top left
Ta-mere- yellow toss, bottom left
(eF)Warrior-KID - brown zerg, top right
Warbringer. (thats me) - teal toss, bottom right
Everyone had chosen their race except me.
And off we go. Noone dropped in the beginning and lag was less than usual. Beautiful.
Early game was fairly uneventful, the 3 protoss went with a 7/8 pool, then a gate. Then Ta-mere and Murder made assimilators and cybertetics cores with Murder making his before his first gate. I went for a double gate build. Warrior had chosen a somewhat unconventional build, making an overlord and an extractor at 9 (he didn't cancel the extractor), and a pool at 13. He built his 2nd hatchery when he had around 16-17 drones.
During all this time Murder was talking alot of smack about winning the game, etc. By the time me and Ta-mere started building our cybernetics cores, he was already warping 2 stargates. He also had a gateway and a core. He quickly built 2 corsairs and headed for Warrior's base. There he found 3 overlords with NO anti-air defense. He hadn't even started making his hydra den. All 3 ol's died. It took him a few minutes to make an evolution chamber and a few spore colonies and later some hydralisks.
At this point I was the only one with an expasion, having taken my natural undisturbed.
In the meantime, Ta-mere had scouted Murder's main and seeing a lone zealot protecting it, sent about 10-12 zealots to his main. More smack talk by Murder. 2 scouts finished warping as Ta-mere was destroying the base but it was too late. A few of his probes got away and made a nexus at his natural. Ta-mere soon found it and destroyed it. Murder made 3-4 pylons throughout the map and started flying around the map with his 2 scouts and talking more smack. He also attacked Warrior's main with all his probes, right as 6 hydras morphed. Warrior had no other ground defense at this point, the OL hunting had taken its toll. Had he attacked with those probes earlier he might've cause some damage =p.
During the attack, Ta-mere had taken his natural and the base at 9:00. I saw both with my observer and decided to finally do something. I loaded a dragoon and 2 zealots in a shuttle and unloaded them at his undefended natural. Bad idea. I managed to destroy his nexus and a few probes but it got him really pissed off. About 30 seconds after the drop 12 dragoons and 6 zealots march happily into my base. My 8 zealots, 2 dragoons and 2 cannons didn't fare too well against them.
My templar archives were just completed so I started making 4 DT's from my 4 gates. My goons and zeals died taking out a few goons and a couple zealots. Fortunatelly my 2 cannons were hidden between all the other buildings and stalled him long enough for the DT's to come out and kill everything except 2 goons that got away. I'd made it though without losing any probes or buildings (except the cannons).
I quickly counter Ta-mere with 6 DT's, kill the only cannon in his base and proceed to destroy everything else. When he is almost dead, I send 12 freshly-produced zealots his way to help out, and before they're even halfway there, 20 hydras are attacking me! Wtf? Oh yeah its that zerg guy.. I'd forgotten about him. I quickly turn the zealots back and manage to hold off the hydras before they have done anything more than minor damage to 2 of my gateways. He sent some reinforcements but the battle was too close to my gates and the zealots eventually won. I counter him too and the zealots encounter another group of hydralisks on the way and by the time they get to his main there's only like 3 of them and they don't accomplish much.
In the meantime, the 6 DT's have destroyed Ta-mere's main and are attacking the almost completed cannons at the 9:00 base. Some of his probes run away, and while looking for them I run into another zerg base where Murder's main was. Hmm 4 DTs, 6 hydras, no OLs... things are looking good. I get most of the hydras by the time an OL comes. I keep attacking the zerg's main and send about 4 zealots take out Ta-mere's attempt to make a nexus at Warrior's natural, and after that sent them to attack Warrior's base from the left side
At that point, I sent the forces I had been building up (consisting of about 15 zeals and goons) to Warrior's main. As if he read my mind, he sends 2 control groups of lings my way. They meet at the 3:00 base.

It was a very close battle. But, the 4 zeals I had sent came around and started killing his hatcheries, forcing him to retreat to try and save them. My forces with the help of reinforcements that arrived easily killed the zerglings on the open field and the 24 that spawned after I'd taken out the original army. He admits defeat and quits (that's right he didn't disc).
At this point Ta-mere makes one last attempt to stay in the game.. he makes a nexus at the 9:00 base.. right under my observer.. I send a goon, kill his last probe, and he quits too.
Lessons learned:
- Protect your OLs vs. air better, especially when you're playing 3 protoss.
- Get detection earlier especially vs. toss
- Build at least some defense in your main. The zerg had 0 sunkens to help out his hordes of lings.
- Mix up your forces. His lings were no match for my zeals and goons. I know I should've built some HTs but I was outresourcing him so I just decided to overpower him.
- Most importantly: Don't rush for sairs in a FFA when 2/3 of your opponents are toss. Or at least build more ground defense in your main.
Well, that about wraps up my first report.. kind of short but the game was pretty short too.
