Die Aliens Die
It's an usual night. I'm sitting in front of my computer, channel hopping, when the call goes up for a game. I join, and find 4 others in there waiting. Quickly, I decide to watch. "I'll be able to write a nice BR..." I think.
So anyway, here's the set-up:
Map: Aftershock
The Terrans: - BliBleh as Purple Terrans at the 9:OO start.
- Zwurf as Brown Terrans at the 7:30 start.
The Aliens: - Antar as Blue Protoss at the 1:30 start.
- BIOS as Grey Zerg at the 3:00 start.

The First Wave
Both Terrans start out with the same build: Supply Depot, Rax, Rax. However, BliBleh does take the precaution of building a wall-in at his choke. BIOS goes for a second Hatchery before his Pool for augmented production, while Antar builds two Gateways after his Pylon.
BliBleh announces to his ally (and myself) that he is going for early bats. Both Terrans start amassing a considerable amount of infantry. The Aliens, however, seem to be heading in a more subversive direction: the Protoss is clearly heading for DTs, while the rapid upgrade to a lair promises Lurkers from the Zerg.
However, just as Antar's Templar Archive starts warping in, both Terrans send their troops to pay a visit to their Protoss neighbours. They arrive at his choke when two Cannons are almost warped in and immediately leap into the fray to secure the high ground. At the same time, Zerg reinforcements arrive from behind but are beaten back. Although the Terrans are victorious, the price was relatively high.

Holding the high ground is the key to this battle, and that fact is not lost on the Terran commanders
The infantry then moves on to Antar's main, and start gunning down the Templar Archive. This is destroyed, as is Antar's Nexus, but eventually the infantry force is destroyed by DTs.
The Second Wave
At this point, it is clear that the Terrans have a huge advantage. Antar can rebuild his Nexus, but his economy is ruined for quite some time. BIOS must act fast to gain some advantage against his two Terran enemies. So, while both Terrans expand to their naturals, BIOS plans a drop on Zwurf. Unfortunately, he sends his drop (about a dozen Zerglings and some Hydras) straight into waiting Siege Tanks. The attack is eradicated with Zwurf facing low losses.
Meanwhile, BliBleh is growing restless. He sends his large army of M&Ms, Tanks and SVs to pay another social call.

Nice army, BliBleh =)
This time, he's visiting BIOS. With the aid of a D-Matrixed Siege Tank, the Terran troops easily conquer the choke and start setting up just in siege range of the Zerg base. At the same time, Zwurf, obviously feeling a bit left out, plans a little drop from the other side of the same base.

The army at work. Beefcake. BEEFCAKE!
With his Sunkens being blown apart, his drones getting immolated by stimmed Firebats, and probably feeling a bit like a piece of cheese in a sandwich, BIOS surrenders, shortly after his ally, who had already given up at the sight of the Terran might.
The Terrans had prevailed today!

The final score...
Lessons learnt:
- Timing is everything. Had Antar's two Cannons at his choke been already warped in, the battle and the game might have been very different.
- Well co-ordinated team mates accomplish far more with less. It was clear through out the game that the Terrans were communicating more regularly and efficiently than the Aliens.
- Umm... malt liquor?
