"FLS, I will hunt you down to the ends of the earth. There is no place small, dark, and damp enough to hide your wretched carcass. And when I find you, your grandson will rather have his private parts infested with the fleas of a thousand camels than hear of your horrible fate." -Mark4

Map: Lost Temple (sigh)
Players:
Necrosausage! - chosen Protoss
vs
Oaral (some clan suffix I cant remember :) - chosen Zerg
The Game
Knowing that Oaral is pretty equal to me skillwise, I knew this was gotta be a tough game, I expected a loss tho because Zerg are the worst nightmare for my toss :)
I started at the bottom position with Pylon-Gate-Gate and found him in the last spot I looked - at the left position.
He was just morphing a Hatchery at his natural, and I was just finishing my first Zealot, so I attacked
The Zealot met no resistance and killed 1 or 2 Drones before 4 Zerglings popped out and forced him to retreat and wait for reinforcements in the form of 2 more Zealots that were already on their way
I wont let you early xpand!
After joining his brethren, the veteran Zealot turned around and told his two comrads that there were some slimy Zerg to be ripped apart, and so they advanced.
As they arrived at Oaral's natural, they find 6 Zerglings and a morphning sunken. They kill the Zerglings, and start to kill the sunken, however they are eventually taken out by Zergling reinforcements but not before killing the sunken
I WONT LET YOU EARLY XPAND!
ANOTHER Zealot force goes up, this time its 5 of them (I had 3 Gates now and was warping in a Forge)
The 5 Zealots meet with 2 Sunkens and a small Zergling force at his natural, the kill the Zerglings, kill one Sunken, and damage the 2nd one
Necrosausage! "Close"
Observer (cant remember your name sorry): "sigh" how long will this go on.
I REALLY WONT LET YOU EARLY XPAND!!
YET ANOTHER Zealot force goes up. Their goal is to FINALLY kill this damned natural xpansion cuz I hate Zerg that are outressourcing me. They meet 2 fresh sunkens, the old damaged one, and a few Zerglings. "No Chance, in the name of Adun, RETREAT" cries egasuas-ocren, the Zealot leader, and the Zealots turn their tails and retreat to the safety of their homebase
I REALLY WONT... well, I cant stop you from early xpanding, but I wont let you outressource me!
Thinking this, I make an xpansion at my natural and guard it with a sizeable Zealot force and some cannons, while my Forge researches the weapon upgrade and I start to climb tech to Templars, I also build a 4th Gate. (And a 2nd Citadel instead of a Templars Archive, sigh, this was the 2nd time in a row I made this unregrettable fault, I dunno why )-:
Observer: "Funny"
Necrosausage!: "What?"
Observer: "Why did you make 2 Citadels?"
Necrosausage!: "Noooo. Damn. Its the 2nd time today that happens to me"
Observer: "Lol. I thought there was some stratetic reason for it :)"
I knew it was coming - goddamnit! - 8 Mutas rush into my main, kill the 2 defensive Cannons and the Dragoon stationed there, and start to kill my peons. Since I built 2 Citadels and delayed my Archives, I have no storm yet and so my main is defenseless. After killing all my peons, the Mutas try the same at my xpansion, but turn tails in sight of lots of cannons and a few Templars
REVENGE!
"En Taro Adun, let us kill this Zerg treat" said egasuas-ocren, the commander of now about 15 leg-enhanced 1/0 Zealots, and commanded his brethren to attack the Zerg slimers.
Wow. Uh. Ah. 1/0 Zealots really cut throught 0/0 Zerglings like a hot knife throught butter - the Zerglings were ripped apart, the sunkens were blown into bloody pieces, and the Hatchery was drowned in slime, the Extractor exploded in a bloody mess, and a few Drones at his main got an ass-rape by my Zealots before his Mutas were able to kill all the Zealots - Zerg Armaggeddon while Protoss is building a StarGate, upgrading air weapons, upgrading ground armor, and morphing an Archon
After they killed the Psi-Blade armed Zerg nightmare, the Mutalisks (about 8 again) moved again over my main and continued to kill buildings - they managed to kill a few Pylons, a CyberCore and a Gateway there, but my Nexus still stood burning, so I thought it was time to take my main back.
Knowing that he cant always look at his Mutas, I sneaked a Templar in, stormed, and - YEAH! The Mutas didnt move, he was not looking, and 8 Mutas xplode and rain down the sky as bloody raindrops, and before their flesh and bones even hit the ground, I maynarded a few Probes from my natural, started Probe production at my main again, and started mining again. WHAT A FEELING TO HAVE A MAIN AGAIN. This is how the Protoss must have felt when taking back Aiur from the Zerg...
Necrosausage!: "Thats gotta hurt"
Observer: "wow"
My newly morphed Archon could not get past the Cannons at my choke, so I ordered him to defend my main, and he was quickly needed there - 5 Mutas rush in, and the clustered beast are totally ripped apart by my Archon before they can even think of retreating.
"WoW" I thought and put down a Shield Battery at my main to kill support my Archon
Observer: "Great Comeback, Protoss"
My Upgrades are now 1/1 for air, and 2/1 for ground (I usually dont upgrade shields cuz its so xpensive),so, just having killed his Mutas with my Archon, I moved in his main with one Corsair to search for Overlords, and used the other one to search for any island xpansions, while one of my probes was ordered to the 3 natural to xpand there.
My Corsair killed an Overlord at his main, but was eventually dispatched by a newly morphed Muta squad. No biggie tho, cuz I made 2 more Sairs in the meantime.
He tried a few Scourge attacks, but only managed to kill a few Corsairs and lost lots of Scourge to Cannons
My xpansion probe however, found something VERY interesting - a lone Hatchery at the 3 natural :)
My Zealot/Goon force was quickly commanded there, and the Hatchery there goes down.
Well, this place stank from Zerg and I didnt want to wait for the creep to go away, so my Probe advances to the 3 main to xpand there...
... and finds ANOTHER Hatchery, this time with a few mining probes and a few Sunkens
My Doom Troops rush in and kill this one too.
Around here, one of my scouting corsairs found even ANOTHER Hatchery at the 12 main.
I order my doom troops up there but Im eventually blown away by Guardians
Necrosausage!: "Still not a single Hydra :)"
I tried a few ground attacks on his natural then (he re-xpanded there), but were killed by Sunkens
Observer: "Waste of troops"
Necrosausage!: "I know"
Well, I dont fear Guardians much because I just threw down my 2nd StarGate, a Fleet Beacon, and my upgrades are 2/1 for air and 3/1 for ground, while he is still 0/0 everywhere
With my first 3 Carriers and 3 Corsairs, I attack his 12 xpansion from the left side, killing the Extractor, a few Spore Colonies, and a few air units while losing my Corsairs to Spores (dont follow the Devourers - no, nooo!), and one Carrier to Scourge
Oaral: "You always do that"
Necrosausage!: "Yup. Carriers are my secret love"
Observer: "lol"
After this, Zealots rushed in from the front door and killed everything that was not Protoss, cleaning the 12 spot from Zerg infestations.
Meanwhile, my Carriers were floating over the cliff of the 3 natural (he re-expanded there), killing 3 Sunkens and thus opening the door for a Zlot/Goon force to run over this place and finally clean it from Zerg
"Only his main left - Go and eradicate it!" shoutet the robotic voice of a Dragoon - it was egasuas-ocren, re-animated as a Dragoon, and he lead my forces towards the last center of Zerg infestation around the lost temple.
The few Zerg units there were no match for my Carriers with ground support, and the Zerg cowards, shitting in their pants, wanted to surrender to my brave warriors, but my Protoss Fighters were just too brave to let the helpless enemy surrender, and so they brutalized the last Zerg base :-p
"gg" from Oaral
and
"ggg - good great game :)" from Necrosausage!
Lessons learned:
- Never forget to upgrade. As toss vs. Mutaling, the ground weapon upgrade is essential - if you are ahead in ground weapons against his ground armor, your Zealots will tear apart even cracklings
- I love Carriers :)
- Double Citadel aint a good build order
PS: I hope I got it correct, I dont remember it totally clear, Im pretty sure I messed up a few details...
