Note: This is boring technical stuff that only Terran players would understand. If you're not interested in terran, go away.

This is the illustrated guide on how I do the Heavy Metal strat. It's fairly specific.

'Do nothing which is of no use.'- Miyamoto Musashi

The standard build against protoss is 8 depot/10 Rax. You will forgoe your early scouting on account of needing everyone to bust ass on getting resources, and you managing your base to get the most out of it.

Battle Shots!

You are now currently at the 14-15 mark on peons. Your refinery is being built. The Rax is on the side closest to your factories, to allow better troop flow when the factories are done.

This is your early game defense. I go with 3 marines with hold position behind the depots. If the opponent attacks with substantial forces (more than 4 zealots), build a bunker behind the depots. 3 Marines. 4 may cause supply probs later.

Peons 18 and 19 building the factories. Place the factories next to your CC. This is a macro tip taken from IN-Agent 911. You need to do this (especially Ghost Lizard!). Macro is good! It

Flying the Rax. I pick up the rax and allow the first vulture through. If I run into bad guys, I lower the Rax, otherwise I fly the Rax to the factories for easier macro.

Time to pound shit out. The next building to get is an academy. Also, build your depots away from the choke now. I do mine at the back of my base. Rally point all of your troops to the top of the ramp and kick ass. Mine your choke! Good luck.
