Charlie Jacons, a private in the Terran army, was patrolling the outskirts of the Confederate base of operations on a snow covered planet. The area was dominated by several platues and valleys... Any of wich could be used by the ravenous Zerg swarms or deadly Protoss tribes to attack... Wich is why Charlie was on patrol.
Suddenly, he felt a distant rumble, and immediatly radioed headquarters. "This is patroll 013 to comand, there is something aproaching from the southwest, are you picking it up?"
Command responded, "We see it, but we can't identify it as of yet. Classified as hostile. Investigate and report back to us ASAP."
"Yessir."
Charlie moved twoard the sound. He scaled to the top of a small hill and used the optical gear built into his helmant to scan the area. What he saw terrified him. There was a huge zerg assault coming through one of the canyons. Thousands upon thousands of zerglings running ahead, followed closy by hundreds of hydralisks, and spider-like beastes known as lurkers, intermixed with these were the vile, disgusting creatures known as delfires. Overhead flew the terrifying mutalisks, crab-like guardian aspects, and immense flying hulks known as devourers, wich were a threat even to the massive Behemoth-class battlecruisers of the confederate fleet. These were escorted by the gas-filled creatures known as the overlords, wich were belived to controll these swarms, and creatures known as queens, capibal of infesting bases, infecting soldiers with parasites, and covering them with a sticky green membrane that hindered all movement.
Charlie immediately radioed in to base, "Zerg swarm approaching through canyon 29! Repeat, Zerg swarm approaching through canyon 29! Send forces to defend immediately!"
Charlie waited a few tense moments, before a thunderous boom erupted, it was accompanied by a fireball in the midst of the advancing swarm. This was followed by another, and another, and another untill the swarm was being constantly bombarded by the powerful arcalite shock cannons of the sieg tanks. Hundreds of zerg died, but more and more replaced then; it seemed as if this swarm had no end! Suddenly a sound startled Charlie, he looked behind him to see a silent yet deadly ghost warrior kneel down next to him. The ghost acted as if he didn't exist, and began the targeting procedure for one of the several tactical nuclear missiles in the area. He heard over his helment radio "Nuclear Launch Detected" moments after the ghost began targeting, and ducked behind a nearbye pile of boulders to shield himself from the intense light of the soon to be nuclear blast. He peeked through a crack just in time to see a nuclear missle streat down from the heavens like a firey comet. It impacted in the middle of the swarm, whiping out nearly half of it. He looked to where the ghost had been, only to see nothing... But footprings appearing in the snow seemingly out of nowhere, leading of the plateu.
A small flier, known as a scourge flew over his position tword the base camp, only to be ripped apart by guass fire from Charlie. Suddenly he heard marching, and looked tword the end of the canyon opposite to the andvancing swarm, to see a terran assault force moving to stop the swarm in its tracks.
He heard the sound of massive battlecruiers flying overhead, and saw their powerful lasers striking the devourers, and knocking several out of the sky. He then heard a yamoto cannon powering up, and saw the brilliant streak of energy incenerate another devourer. But some survived and began to attack the battlecruiers, only to be pelted by missiles seemlingly out of nowhere, and knocked from the sky.
Suddenly guass fire ereputed from the cannon as the swarms approached the terran assault force. Firebats spat firely napalm into the advacing swarm, wile marines greeted it with a wall of bullets. Medics stood by to heal any wounded, and goliath missiles began knocking mutalisks and guardians from the skies. Arcalite still rained down upon the enemy troops, and soon the tattared reminants of the swarm retreated back to their primary hive cluster on the planet, leaving the terrans victorious once again.

I just wrote this to see what kind of response I would get. I came up with it as I wrote, and completed it in about 8 minutes. I will be creating detailed stories with good plots to post soon. This was just to try it out...
Please post any story ideas as a response to this.
