Crush@you was the creator, and he was waiting with his race chosen as zerg. "Ready"? he asked. I typed go, and chose protoss. I found my Nexus in the bottom right spot, and by the direction his overlord came, I found out he spanwed at lower right. Now that I knew where he was, I decided to corsair rush. After doing my standred build on islands (8pylon 11 gas 12 gateway 14pylon 15 cycore) I warped in dual stargates and started pumping corsairs. After accumulating 4, I threw them at the enemy.
At his base, I found a lair, a hatchery, gas, and a hydra den, as well as 3 hydras. Right when my corsair started attacking, 3 more hydras hatched. After killing an overlord, I retreated, losing one corsair. Sensing a drop, I quickly warped in a citidal and robotics facility back home.
Soon enough, Just as soon as my first reaver popped out, 12 hydras swarmed out of the overlords. At this point, I had 2 cannons, a zealot, and a reaver. Right when I thought I was dead, a lucky scarab popped 4 hydras. Right after that, another scrab hit 3, but at the cost of m reaver. my zealot and cannons were able to clean up the weakend hydra force. His next drop came soon, this time with 24 hydras. I had my original zealot, 2 cannons, 3 reavers and a templar with psi storm at 65 energy. With some godly micro, he was able to kill my reavers at the lost of 7 hydras. My zealot and cannons were able to hold off the hydras until the storm was ready. After some blue lighting and some crackling sounds, the hydras were gone.
Deciding I needed to take the offensive, I loaded a shuttle with two reavers and landed them in his drone line. After killing about 6 drones, hydras forced me to retreat. When my shuttle was returning home, 2 scourges crashede into it, taking it down along with its cargo. After muttering a few curses, I made another shuttle and expanded. For awhile, we each built up. I threw up another stargate and fleet beacon, while he reached hive status.
At this point, I decided I needed to establish air dominance. With my 12 1/1/1 corsairs, I went around the map searching for overlords. Instead of running into overlords however, I run into 12 fully upgraded devoureres! AFter losing a corsair in a single volley, I retreated my corsairs. I have a motto, "When pissed off, expand". So like last time, I loaded another probe and expanded.
Soon, out air forces met again, but this time, I attacked his devourers from 3 different angles. The result was him retreating from my 14 now 2/2/1 corsairs. As I gave chase, more devouers came and knocked out 2 of my corsairs. Retreating to my expansion, I started warping the dreaded newbie unit: carriers. Unfortunetly though, before my carriers warped in, 6 guardians and a helluva lot of devourers started pounding my expansion. Sending my corsairs to engagae, I suceeded in killing...0. Damn. After losing both of my expansions to the blasted fat crabs, I quietly resigned because of my lack of income.
I know I know, this report sucked shit. I'm still trying to get my image editor to work, so I didn't bother taking any pictures. If anyone has any advice for my reporting skills, or how to get image editors to work(my pictures are very blurry) please comment comment COMMENT!
