[nE]Zephyr` VS .::.iMPuLSe

Players: Zephyr (Brown Terran @ 9) - iMPuLSe (White Protoss @ 3)

I dont know what Zephyr was thinking. He picked Terran before the countdown even began! Naturally iMPuLSe picked Protoss with 2 seconds left. Well anyway, I wished my fellow clanmate good luck and insulted him for picking Terran.

Myself and the quiet destiny_feather looked on as Zephyr pulled a unique move as he forfeited his right to a wallin for a Dbl Rax a little away from his ramp. At first I thought this was complete newb style. But after thinking about how many people Cannon Rush or Goon Rush this tactic became a true move in my book.

As I thougt iMPuLSe Goon Rushed after his scout Probe could not break through the Dbl SCV block and was killed. The Goon Rush would have been extremely effective had Zephyr's 2 Medics not popped out the second the Goons arrived. iMPuLSe's attack was twarted.

But all is not lost as iMPuLSe quickly Techs to Reavers. I begin to think how weak Terran really are...

Zephyr had a SCV scouting 12 when iMPuLSe attacked. When it finally found the Protoss base it was defenseless. So he scouted, saw the Reaver tech and then hid. Gosu SCV ninja!

ASDF!!! He has been found! Poor gosu SCV ninja... At least he took out those 6 Goons before he left. Err wait, he got anal raped.

iMPuLSe attacks again, this time with a force of about 8 Goons and one loaded up Reaver. The attack is much more successful.

Right now I think the game is over, but much to my delight it is far from over. I hear a distant Tank seige... BOOM! The Goons start falling to the M&M + 1 Tank. But iMPuLSe remembers his Reaver and loads it up to destroy that pesky Tank. To his surprise the godly AI script of the Reaver attacks 1 Marine that is closest to him while the other kill it. A Wraith comes in, finishes the Shuttle and the M&M + Tank kill the rest of the Goons.

Zephyr points out the obvious facts with this incredibly clever commit.

While Zephyr cries about how he is fucked iMPuLSe silently agrees as he expands to 12. Sends a Probe to his 2nd Natural. AND sends a Probe to 12's mineral only. Can we say "Expansion Whore"? This is the advantage that Protoss has on other races. They can expand safely by warping Nexus, Pylon, Cannon.

Zephyr scouts around and finds the expansions. He loads up 2 Shuttles full of Marines, Medics, SCVs, and Tanks and heads to 12. He drops off, seiges up, and fucks iMPuLSe's economy.

"Shit..." is what iMPuLSe must be thinking as he TRIES to micro his Goons to kill the Tank. While SCVs repair the Tank the M&M have fun on the Goons. iMPuLSe gets it all but 3 Marines + 1 Medic. He drops a Reaver and blows the fuck out of those Rines + Med with 1 Scarab. Overkill...

While all this was going on Zephyr went to sneak in the back door. Tricky tricky!

But as fate would have it iMPuLSe flanked Zephyr and stopped that attack with relative ease. This is all fine and dandy, but what REALLY pisses me off is the other fucking obs. He has said NOTHING this entire game so I order a command to destroy his lonely SCV!!! Unfortunately everyone obviously had me on squelch and said/did nothing. X_X

Okok, iMPuLSe is fucking leading this game so much its pointless to finish this BR. He has 3 functional/safe expansions and is about to expand 2 more times! To the "Terran's" 1 expansion at his natural. I got bored watching iMPuLSe dominate the map as he put Cannons + Pylons all over the map and continued to pump mass Goons + Zeal. So I decided to make a trip all the way across the board to visit my dear silent friend, destiny_feather. It was a nice visit but the trip was hell. Mid-map iMPuLSe goes insane and attacks my CC!!! I justa bout died! Thank goodness for my gosu trash talking skills or his Goons would've finished me.

Zephyr cant continue to let iMPuLSe expand like a retard anymore. He launches a 4 Dropship attack at 12. The 2 Cannon expansion falls easily to the Seige Tanks and M&M. But the real damage occurs when he Seiges up on that cliff destroying 12's mineral-only!

iMPuLSe just realized he has no chance of killing those well positioned Tanks and Marines so he launches a counter attack thinking Zephyr has all his troops at 12. Unfortunately, Zephyr was producing the entire time and he had an half his troops at his main. But he didnt produce quite fast enough as iMPuLSe tears through Zephyr's mineral only and proceeds to his natural. Luckily Zephyr is a master of Tank positioning and some Tanks on his cliff were more than enough to stop the attack.

Remember Zephyr's troops at 12? Well, they finished destroying 12 + 12's mineral-only so he moves them south and takes out iMPuLSe's original mineral-only.

Now that Zephyr has took iMPuSLe's expansions, he produces more and sends his troops at his main to attack to iMPuLSe's main. Luckily iMPuLSe has been training his peons in the art of "Gosu Sexy Bitch" and his Probe destroys all of Zephyr's troops. Err no, it dies... dies like a little bitch.

Zephyr continues the assault by discovering iMPuLSe's expansion @ 6's mineral-only and destroys it. In a five minute time the map looked like this...

Gosu ain't it? With Zephyr dominating all of iMPuLSe's expansions there is nothing left to do but to exchange "GG" and leave. But in pure ass style iMPuLSe leaves with a lame excuse...

So it is left for me to turn off my "Invisible Unit Hack" and destroy Zephyr with a yawn. Finally "unedited" score:
